I'm asking more questions. I have a call in the meeting to public particular needs of our board member of petitions. I would just like to point things out. Is there a chance that we could update the website? Because the part of Rex still has Kathleen Tyson's or Rh rep liaison and the ad Jared. And I'm okay with adding my name or committee name folks on there like others, but I believe that's others who I'm thinking. Yeah, she's talking about you're in the book in the program. Yeah, as we are understanding. To think it's people who want to reach out to us for any question or if that is what we do or what's going on. So, come on as I'll say in line, make my next somebody look at the key asks, and what I want to do today, and there's, yeah, large staff from March, and we're doing Okay. I'll entertain a motion to improve the minutes. I would suggest for recommend one chain. Bring the German payment. I've been making motion to the German. I said I would entertain a motion. So the motion was by Brandon. Second by Sharon. At the very bottom on the number of silks. How do you think? With that, I know I would entertain. Like a luge would you prove the minutes, including Charlie's suggested edits? How was that? Any discussion? Hearing none, On favour say aye. Five aye. Yeah. Five. Five. Five. Five. Five. Five. Thank you. See to see the next time. But the first item that I'm here was. Budget updates. So the FY26 budget didn't get back that Monday night. New significant changes for recreation parks. The first is an RCIP budget. So we had a think it was $400,000 to $9,000 in our city for its 26 to do redo the playgrounds at Crossman Park and at Cavalier Trail Park. That money is not going to be allocated in FY26 but we have enough money from higher understanding in CIP that we can still So heavily. So, heavily are still going to happen. And there's nothing there to pedal there. Crosswind. How much is that? There's 372,000 a day when they're for. And this is my filter. So, durmary park. That's about worth money in permanent. And so yeah, speaking worth there. And the crossman is not going to get done. I don't think that there's a specific plan for crossman at this time. I'm really supportive of thinking a little bit. It's more strategically about crossman given the giant, the printings are like to park cross there. I did, I'm not supporting personally of trying to put in more flagrant equipment. It's just going to compete. Like what the kids seem to do is use that side as like more like nature, playing the stream, running around and then go across to the Arlington side. I think that we should do something a little bit more nature focused, not equipment focused there, not just to reduce the spend, but also because it doesn't really make a lot of sense. We can't compete with that other part. So we shouldn't try, but I don't know if others agree. I long felt the sorry, but. I don't have a personal or one way or the other. The other thought is having more kind of a dull equipment that have been exercise stuff. But I'm also in an intro too. I love it. You're even just like nice or seating because people will sometimes sit there and watch their kids on the other side. I think playground equipment is the wrong direction. I agree with you. I think there's, I heard from Calcule and they were talking about it the same. Oh, good. I wasn't I promised I was on the street. So there's some thoughts out there. There has been interest in adult fitness equipment, especially since the trail is right there. People that pop off the some adult fitness. There's a grant for some adult fitness. They pull it a grant, but it's really just discount on their product. So I don't know how strong I feel that as much of a grant is a little bit of a discount on this one product that has been installed in sterling and then asks us, I think, for Dumfries. It's a set you can't modify a bunch. It's a set. So something is not bad. There's no time for any of it. Any help. But something for you all to think about what you want to leave in that part. So this is a conversation. What's my set. At that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. You push back 27 or you get taken out completely. I don't know. We will have to get back to that. That's perfect. Yeah, yeah, correct. I don't know them for sure. Was that difficult to put back in later? Lots of time, but it is. I mean, you really have to go up with it. And at that point, you're much better off if it gets delayed, at least it's just in the next year. But if it's taken out completely, it's much harder to get a backpap. And I know that Dan was kind of confusing that for him. I'm using that in the back of his mind to get a backpap. And I know the deal is kind of confusing that for my non-usin that in the back it is not just to the balanced property also. It's a spark improvement money which could be allocated anywhere in case fellows came in more expensive. So it is we are at risk at this point. Because when they approved the money, the portfolllers, they cut it from, like, 19 to 15 years, something like that. Any leather is a huge contingency, it's going to be something a lot to keep it eye on with fellows because we've lost them. 475,000 or was that number? 495 that could be used in the park system in the next fiscal year. What was the point of, what is the strategic point of cutting versus to lay in the park? Well, this they cut specifically so they didn't have something to lower the tax. This is one of the few things they cut out completely. So I can lower the tax rate for the game. So Delane doesn't, oh, I need to do the same thing. Who does? I don't know what, but they'll link it at so much in the CIP2. So it may have been a problem with pushing it back next year, but it's too much in twilight. So I don't know how I need to do that. I think there's also a sentiment that the economy is not going to be better. No, I was not even starting. So I think the main things wasn't really much discussed much. The direction they were going. OK. So they come to the end of the day. And so we're about half of what they cut. Don't want that. Thanks. I mean, that's consequential. The capital at a parks of all of the things taken out. Yes, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, that's consequential. You know, the capital out of parks of all of the things taken out of it. I guess if it's, it's what stormwater at schools, it's affordable. It's like, it's the things it's competing against. It's, it's, it's something. And way before it pops is one of the first things that you look at the moments you have adapted. And it's in the money that is set aside Because the development is the term for it, but that can't be taken away for it. So we don't have any of that right now for parts. We had $192,000 and this is dedicated for front-end. It's the amuse for burn right now. If there's anything coming for any future, things is pretty small. The Quinn property, was there anything else to see with that one? There are. I thought there isn't Quinn. There is should be a little bit founders too. Not much. So the blind Washington was. What is that? It's a. So so it was designated for parks. It would like to come to parks, but it doesn't get issued until the CEO gets issued to the project, so you don't get that money until then. Okay. That's a while. Oh, I got it. The other. Are you really starting off the ball? There are two else that she got from here. The other company that we lost was Four of Uschnight. So reckon parks, as you know, about two years ago. I think it was good to hear from you. The other money that we lost was for Washington. So reckon parks, as you know, about two years ago, kind of jumped into more of the programming for the broad sheet portion of Washington. And it used about 25,000 to that for entertainment, stage, sound, all that. And then there's another 5,000 or in overtime. So that has been taught as well. And that's the attendance of that gone down over the years. It's been, I have young kids anymore. So that's what we used to always do. We were had young kids, but now that they're high school and college, we don't usually go. So I was just wondering, has it So I don't know how it compares to pre-COVID, but it didn't happen in 2020. In 2021 there was a research institute that got canceled last minute. 2022 I think it's breaking into the big campus. So it's a big campus. So I think there's a lot of rain and then we get really cold. 25, 25, 25, 25, it was a beautiful night. And I don't know how compared, but I think we estimated like 1,500 or so people out there. And then last year, it was more for kids, dormed. We're in the beginning of the night. And then it cleared up. And if I be nice, thank you, or nice. But I think the idea is just that even on a nice 90, 10, it just hasn't been there to justify spending. So is the event canceled completely or just the additional spending? The outdoor portion is canceled at this time. Or like a community like the chain, like someone else would have to. So there has always been indoor parts of the event. And I think that would still continue. That was run by the cash foundation because it's like a organizations kind of sponsored that. So I think that was still happened is just that outside of broadsheet part that was really about to last all on money. And resources. What's the annual portion? I think I've ever seen the annual. So I church. Yeah, the municipal and the call church. It's musicians. There's. I think it's like big band dancing on a. For a lot of horses childrens and our kingman and what I don't. For the night. I think it was so. So everything else could be good hope like for us. The rest of information that I'm having on this year for you all, I don't know if it was mentioned that you're last meeting but we do have a signed MOU updated in all you with the school district just want your both. It's been a really great document for several years. It's a great collaboration to get a lot out of it and it's I think also helpful. You know there's last Turtle Bird with staff of Sydney and the school so it's good to have that document a place that people can follow it. We're 12 days from where Okay, ready for that. You're on stage. You're good to go. Once you get, you, a speech. We had the Fall Search Fitness Challenge. Hopefully you all saw that all over social media. It was nice turn out. We had 115 disfaints turned in their passports. The city's gonna be celebrating five month of fifth more this year. We're calling it June Joy. So, O-Con, library and graphic parks have partnered up on a few new programs this year. Working parks is going to be doing and at the orbit. All June is already I think towards the end of month on June, I'm sharing a far farmhouse is undergoing some renovations. If you were around a few years ago, we did some foundation repairs, but we only did about half of the house. Now we're going to have a half and some plaster in the parlor. That begins next week. We're going to make summer camps. We are rolling out some new software for our summer camps for emergency forms, which can be lovely. Pretty excited about that. And one change we're looking at, so we're going to do a community survey. We're looking at possibly printing, mailing less brochures than we normally do. So we're looking to do a community survey to see how many people still want that art copy brochure in the mail. And it turns out the way I'm hoping it does. What we, I think we would still do is we have 520 members on our senior center. Yeah, probably still print them and mail them to our senior membership. And then have like a opt-in list. So if you still want that hard copy mail to you, you can opt-in for it. it but that would reduce our printing and mailing and we can move that money towards this new hand software and everything. How much is the to how much is the cost of send that the the budget is 16 or 18 thousand for the printing wow. So that's all four's four brochures. It's three class brochures and one camp brochure every year. And the mailing is probably about 6,000. The online business, the new software is really good, especially on the two main aspects. Boat shooting side of things. For for a long time, when I had a coach I had to use an outside program. Like, um, our husband and two first. Yeah, I'm happy. Yeah, it's like it now I don't have to do that because that software, even tweet here and there, but it serves the purpose of email and letting people know it'll text you kind of over communication a lot of it, because it's a lot of texting that goes out. So that program is a bit much better improvement. I don't know what it is on your own, but at least on the user end in coaching side, it's a lot better. Yeah. So playing backtracks, we're using just for for sports and then we still use just for abstract and web track where all of our other programming. But that is a good thing. Had a lot of good things to say about the metrics. And one thing we might still do is I create a postcard maybe and send a postcard out which is if you are a mode. So we're going to Keeps that. So that would be coming out soon, hopefully, because it's kind of a survey to find out if people still really want that people are sure to mail or not. And that is a current director's report. Productance, the low-up data will happen at what they are today. And also these very companies. So, um, world art theory, um, wasn't on world art day, but we were celebrating it. Uh, first we got postponed due to rain, second weekend, and then I'm being nice and up day. Um, bunch of vendors out in the park. So see that you're there again. Um, I wasn't there. So do you want it? I mean, that was tough. It was really nice today. I was nice to be there. I wasn't there, so if you wanted to. Oh, I mean, no, I just, I, it was, it was a really nice day. I was there to be really, I'm, I'm, I'm my arrival, the by flowers. And if you don't get there, really, I thought that's loud. But it was everyone was up. There seemed to be quite a lot of people walking around over by the, yeah, in another area. The variety, like was a good turn out of the vendors I think too. It wasn't just like a couple, it was a lot. Yeah, the racial weekend, they were 40 and they're signed up. I don't know how many of them are sitting at the right. I don't think that's the been at least 25. Maybe more. Yes. Into my floor, there on the first thing. And the band, the I cut one new thing we tried this year. Then what was that? The I cut? The zero to three area has always been the most challenging. You have parents jumping in and grabbing things for their kids. But and everybody it's the same thing in the four to six. Everyone's kind of going to the same center. So what we did this year was we made that a big U so that they were more program in our space and instead of everybody going into the center, they were kind of all going into different areas. I didn't get any complaints this year from that age. We're about parents pushing or seeing their kids. So I think hopefully that was a good change. And I think we'll probably do that again. That share maybe just make the little bit bigger. We had this across one. It was nice. Any high-dead numbers? Badea Khan? No idea. But it was as busy as it always is. One other change that we didn't do, which I think was nice. So if you're familiar with the ACON starts at 10 and if you were there at 10.01, you have missed the ACON. So we actually advertised at the MS Start at 9.15 and we had the bun out at 915, we had the crafts out at 915, we had sponsors. They were doing the activities, choreographies, if you're a sponsor, you kind of have to do an activity as a being a sponsor. So all that was going on at 915 so that there were less people that showed up at 1001, where 15 and this is it. So I will say the crowd was probably the same as it has been in the past people have ever earlier, which was nice. Good. Thank you. All right. Any questions? The little one thing that comes up and probably should have been problematic. Can you check with fires, or do you have to have any do-of- to do about the car saying now. And to make last year, I've heard many complaints that if you got a car, you never heard back from buyer on t-shirts. And if you call the car dealership, you've got no call back. That was not just to, you know, if they're only going to have next number of shirts, fine. I think the audience talked to them and they want to talk to you and see what's going on. But a lot of people are about what people, I know people who are, say, last year about a lack of response. You know, those, those who are stragglers of the back. You know, say hi to charity people. Whole business, part project that leads. Oh, what's going on with Bernd? It's coming, we had a pre-construction meeting today. We confer, we don't do sex plan, we do the WIs. So we can get in there and be the work. Sorry, it ordered. It's been ordered. It's we not look to be install or today. You think that we're going to have everything delivered in mid June and you think like once he gets it he would go to the leads notice. So he expects to start late June. Some tree work that we need to do to not learn so branches I need to come down because they will some talk with it. I see you guys have seen. But I think we'll probably see if you can get that tree work on before they get started, but it is, I mean, and it will take about four weeks to get started. So that means end of July. We'll have a soft opening and then look for. Okay, great. We're going to just... And you all don't meet in July or August? Right. So Mike, there's something in June. Oh, we don't have time to meet. Yeah. It's not anything to just... Sorry start to have an open route, but just try to think of being and people being around. And you want to have the real opening after school starts. Just a lot of different moving and what type of, you know, West Endley had really bad user events to make people come. Okay. So Vernon. Permit. Fellows. Fellows of out. I should go out. I'll email an update today. They were near. Reviewing this proposal that wrote, slight submitted and they hoped to be in contract with them by the end of the month. So we went out for beds or did we not go out for beds? I don't know if it was a bed or if it was a doc contract that day. I think I've got my full-dried doctor. Yeah. And it is. So he says they hope to get a contract by the end of the month. What's the end of the company? Robes sleep. And do we know, not talking numbers, but is there a proposal with them? What do you have projected? Definitely.? I can find out and you know enough to you all. That's right. As long as it's moving at this point but also the little concern now with the money being taken away, there's a stable pretty adamant there that they've done within that number. I don't really don't want a value engineer. But we also could have acted back in the fact that they're having. 2000 units over the fact over the course of the last 10 years. And I also on fellows, they did have to consolidate the thoughts. The way the thoughts. So they've submitted the call, consolidation plan to the bank apartment, it's under a plan review, and we'll likely go to plan mission and June. To get the subdivided thoughts back together. That's the final subject. Each pack is going along. Yes, the cabled gear one. I'm selfish because I don't one I'm celebrating the next Cavalry. It's in the FY26, which starts in July for our city correct. So it's actually already in the budget because we're using our spent funds. So I'm sure you doesn't have to fill July. I know there was a good, maybe to start planning for we did a good listening session at Birmingham, where like the community came out and talked about and stuff. So maybe like planning for September will be come back from break, like happy listening session. When the weather, it means, you know September maybe early October and when it gets a little nicer, and we'll have burn in behind this, hopefully then. And then I think the program is ready to do it on site. Yeah, that's right. should do outside. So that's September's hard to have on site. Yeah, we have to do a patient stuff like a lactant, so maybe October. October's the other night since you get on it, getting it in the yeah, certain time. I suspect it's going to be much like a burn in where we're not going to want, you know, you're not going to want to change the fuck. I'm going to start to speak. What's going to be put in that? Yeah, yeah, I was looking at it. I did that. Hold on. Basically, the only thing I would actually is like, change is it gets you a lot because of lifting. At the end of the street. into the street. And so the two picnic tables that are there, where people put them there, who don't back yard, just stuck them there, but like some more intensive seating solution so that people can't eat tacos. It's probably, it's the only, people leave additional things. But yeah, I think it's just gonna be like a burnin' kind of coffee. Smaller, yeah. Yeah, much more. Do you wanna do your pension? So project update is it's going on. It's going on. Yeah, it's. The kids, one of the things I suggested just early in the year was like, it's been an educational component of the geothermal project for the schools that I had happened to. So it hasn't, but I was, we were talking a little bit about what currently opening for the building would look like. And I was having any other departments on board yet, but kind of a good, some kind of an educational video about what we did at the community center because, again, you're going to walk in at the gym will look different, but the rest of the way back in with that difference is a little hard for little hard for every opening, because you're going to walk in the front door and you're like, that's what I think you can use. I know it's probably, I don't know how we move on this, but there are cool little things I used to work in here, but there are cool models. You can have something that you can put in the lobby where it can, like, of course the water can get re-enjected and you can watch it come back up like something simple but that is a little bit more tactile and shows what's going on under where like a kid could like, first of all, you can watch the water get re-enjected and you can watch it come back up like something simple, but that like, is it a little bit more tactile and shows what's going on underground? What if it kind of be cool? I don't know if I would have paid for that or someone would want to sponsor that or like what, I just, people. Something wrong, sorry. You're gonna get it. to explain it to the people doing it. So I'm sure they've got a nice chunk of change out of the process. Yeah. I'll do some digging to you to see what that might cost. Or big enough, there's a lot of handy people in our city who'd like to be interested in building one. That's been. It's a project. I like that. Yeah. That's the nice idea. So any other thoughts on the grave reopening? Does it? What timing or isn't a grave reopening? I think it's been accomplished. I think the gems could be there for. So I think it's. So James, I think the gems could be there for it. So I think it's going to be changed. You may want to think of putting it in and through the gem instead of walking the hallway. At least the gem you can look. Do the rooming coming on the gem. I know, it was your car and like, what did I spend on that? It looks exactly like that. This is that entrance on the sides. Well, to be there. It is. It has a brand new generator out there too. So you see the generator free. Oh, it's a river. Yeah. So it's a river coming back. We've had a tree pose that He's a dead chick pose. And then for the rest of the car, I asked him to tell the link that I took the rest of the day. That's what you do. This M.R.C.E from New York. I'm not. I'm not. There's an SNL sketch of that. It's hilarious. It's so good. It's so good. It's like you bought me a car with a dog. If we can't do it all for this. Please, December 2. Off to you. In fact, we can't even afford this. Please just number two. Okay. So that we'll have to start working on it. Okay, so that I mean, for you, you know, we may want to think about. You know, when you want that. What is the protected date right now? It's. June forever. Ever since June 9th? Hopefully it's 10, so the other 100 night there's our campsite. Bring me some fun. The gym floor is actually what we'll probably think the longest. And even on June 9th, it might be completely none. It'll be usable. So I wouldn't do it before we actually start using the building because like the bleachers are being installed that first week all we have cans because we actually don't have any gym camps that we so we'll have extended care in there but we'll have them on that path to gym, on the pudding bleachers and the other half. And then I think the gym curtain is also being replaced but that might not happen until August so it's kind of days. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. the gym curtain is also being replaced, but that might not happen until August. So it's kind of days. I think it's a pretty thing. But the bleachers I think would be. It would be nice if we could. So those are really solved the week out June 9th. And kind of to your point, Charlie, but people even town in July. Maybe to try to do it before the fourth. Couldn't be a lot of time, but it doesn't have to be that elaborate. But I can say, look, yeah, but when this July fourth is what? And Friday the show. Friday, so that we can go for. So that's the weekend that we're doing June joy. Or maybe some actually June joy might be feels nice. So Friday's so weekend that we're doing June joy. And maybe I should actually do. Maybe it feels nice. So promise. So we can. I mean, that might be a drop. Yeah, I don't think I'll be talking maybe the bigger draw the bigger draw yet. Don't talk. No, it's like grand open. I would. I wonder in to be. I was buying my flowers and my bagels. Yeah. Good idea. These. And maybe it can be to the educational component of some sort of open house with like these tours of like the cap room but I was just looking and there's actually an oriental training company has a geothermal model like where the kids come water into a bucket of ice and it's tied and then like it cools and they pump it back out. Yeah yeah I mean there's some cool stuff I I'm getting real weird We're glad to be here. He's not. He's not. Don't work on Zio Thermal anymore. What was that? Who's in charge of the... Yeah. In both... And then there's some cool stuff. I'm getting where we're headed. You've got it. He does. It is. Don't work on geothermal anymore. But who's that? Who's in charge of the... It volunteered myself for this clearly. Yeah. I do also want to check... I have to look at the schedule. The book sale is normally in April. Okay. They book it for June. I need to look and see what we can make book it for. It will be after we open, so I have to be here in the gym. And there's other places. Yeah. Great. Debbie, for for the green building. No, I got it. Book sale, you get some books in a lot of places. Yeah, but then that's a long history. Okay. on. not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Yeah, the ceiling tiles are starting to go back up. The middle wooden panels on the ceiling above the front desk area are not going back up, but they kind of built a floating ceiling right there. That will look similar to the panels looked. The generators installed and has working outlets so that false search vessel for all of the progress are off and just plug into it. I love summer. We're generating. There's so nice. It's coming along. It's a lot better. More thinking. It has been repaint and the direct site walk I saw can we fix today? when you guys move back? So we were told that with hard hats on we can kind of start moving our stuff back in. I didn't remember earlier I think but it will be it's a laughter or it's good. They actually align with the steel back for the building which I think is expected about two weeks two weeks. Less than I've talked to him, he said it weeks ago. Mid mid mid mid mid. Thank you. I'm excited. Matthew, I think you're the solo one left. I think he did all the signage. No, but I mean this would be mostly his project. So yes, I have done anything bad. I think they are moving on with it. So I think he said he has all the signage names waiting for a time to put it up, but I think all of this kind of volunteer not all of me. So he helped. Do you need help? I think he wouldn't need help. It's for sure. I think all of us kind of volunteered not all of us maybe. To help. I think he wouldn't help. Especially that. We all have everything.
