Ah, what's it? What's good? That's all rights to oppression. Applige allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, individual, with liberty and justice for all. Morning everyone, first thing we have on the agenda day or the approval of the minutes last week. the one first thing we have on the agenda today are the approval of the minutes last week and sure on to the motion to approve the minutes. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second business engineering. Good morning, Jeremy Grindr, city engineer. This morning we have a contract with Rejuvenate for our 2025 application of the reclamite asphalt rejuvenator. We have used this several times from between 2020 and now with success and we would like to continue the application to the roads that we paved two years ago. We didn't do any last year, so we'd be doing it this year for the ones we paved two years ago. The longest stretches will be on Kassou Street from 4th to Earl and Main Street from South to Sagamore Parkway. And then we had several subdivisions that we paved in 2023. The contract with RejuvenTech is in the amount of $291,829.49 and we're requesting your approval. Okay thanks. Chair and ten, I'm motion to approve this agreement. We went through JuvenTech. That Second? Second. Moving in a second. Anybody have any questions? Would you mind this? It's great. You're anticipating the life expectancy of a year or two more? The asshole, is that what you're sort of thinking about? They publish like a three to five year extension. Okay. That's a lot. Yeah. That's a lot. Yeah, it helps it not to crack as early. So we end up with the last pot holes at the time. And. OK. Good. Yeah. Good. Yeah. Good investment. We have a motion. A second to approve this agreement. All those in favor say aye. Aye. I have both the same sign. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks, Jeremy. Appreciate it. Lafayette Housing Authority. Good morning. Thomas Scare, Lafayette Housing scared. I have another agreement for you today between the Law Fiat Housing Consortium and Habitat for Humanity. This would be our second agreement of our 2024 grant funds. This would be the first one that's using exclusively 2024 funds. We're happy about that. We're moving along. This agreement would provide up to $80,000 for the construction and direct home by assistance of a property at 9.30 South Second Street. Like I mentioned from Habitat's 2024 Home Awards. The completed project will provide an energy efficient and affordable newly constructed home for a qualified low-income homeowner. Legal staff have reviewed and approved the document. And I'd be happy to try and answer any questions you might have. Okay, let's get this on the table. Sure, intent to approve this agreement between the Lafayette Housing Consortium and Habitat for the property at on on South Second Street, I guess. I'll move approval. Second? Moved in seconded questions for Thomas. Thomas, I noticed the funds that we're awarding from the consortium sometimes are different. I mean, they up, this is $80,000. That's a higher amount, typically, that we see on home. It's been taken up. I think some of this has been, a few weeks ago, we came back and had the amendments to move the funding up for other houses. So there's just been a lot of general increase in construction costs. I mean, that's just to across the board for construction. And I think some of our federal requirements that we required them to put into these houses, like particularly the energy efficiency requirements in building in the rate on mitigation or the foundation ahead of time have been a lot more expensive than I think we initially thought they were going to be. And so we're requiring that they do that when they build these. So we think it's good to be good to pay for them. Okay. How much do you think that will cut down on the ability to, I mean, the added expense per unit will cut down on doing more? Don't know. It's hard to say and honestly for the program as a hold that we could talk about that for a long time because that's getting into a larger problem with just the greater construction amounts and keeping them affordable. So that is going to be a long term. We see a lot of these. How many do you feel like there aren't in given year? How many projects are going on at once? I think for our coming year, I believe we approved for new houses and I think funding for two rehabs of six units. Okay, thanks. Any questions for Thomas? Okay, we have motion a second to approve this agreement. All those in favor say aye. Aye. The full same sign, thanks. Thank you. Thank you.
