Thank you so much. So all our waiting is anybody want to take the mic and talk for a few minutes? Here I'll know. Here you go. Not at all. Well, my wife was wise about this right near speech. Hopefully I have three minutes before the mayor comes back. I will truncate this. Our pet partners organizations. It's still a buster of this. Okay, all right. I'll start at the beginning then Since 1977, pet partners has registered and supported thousands of volunteers who have made millions of meaningful visits around the world. These visits help improve the physical, social, and emotional lives of both the people and the animals involved. that partners not only evaluates and registers dogs, which you see here, but also cats, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, horses, llamas and alpacas, birds, and miniature pigs. Pet Partners of Greater Lafayette serves Lafayette, West Lafayette and surrounding counties. Our teams volunteer at a variety of facilities including West Lafayette and the typical New County Public Libraries, typical New County Community Corrections, Recovery Cafe, West Lafayette and Purdue Police Departments, Schools, Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University University. And in the other facility, Mr. Jawsnick, that requests our teams with animal-assisted interactions. Our goal is to positively improve physical and emotional and mental health through the power of the human animal bond. I think he's developing a bond. You go right ahead. We provide animal assisted interactions, including animal assisted activities such as this, animal assisted therapy, animal assisted education in schools, and animal assisted crisis response as an emergency situation where a therapy animal might be beneficial. We also support our volunteer teams locally, our evaluators and our instructors. Let me introduce, this is Barb and Barb is with Bruce. This is, I'm the nature American Shepherd. This is Ariel and Sasha is and they are our newest team. They were evaluated and passed just last month. Awesome. We have Caitlin and Crosby and you're a Purdue student. And last but not least, Debbie and Rain. I always remember people by their dogs names. No, no, no, no. That's a, and this is Diesel and he is my teammate. We have several other active teams that are part of our organization locally. Pet Partners of Greater Lafayette is the only community partner in Indiana for pet partners international. So some of us have our trading cards that we pass out to kids where we let them read to our animals and we've also Mr. Laws who is a one-of-be-team, is passing out cards that have our website on them, both locally and nationally, gives you all the information you might like to have. So we thank you very much for recognizing pet partners and the other therapy animal teams that operate in Tipkin New County and surrounding counties. So we thank you very much for that. So will you yield your time from the floor? Yes, sir. Obviously the mayor and I go way back. Yes, we do way back to our police days. So all right, thank you very much for being here. Commissioner Murkall is now here. So that was perfect timing actually, because I think you were at the end anyway. So I was trying to fill a master of the business. Yes, thank you. So Mayor Easter is here to join us today also. So we have a proclamation and we haven't had time to talk. I'm just going to do that and there. And then Aaron, you can take those next and then Tom, If you want to do that, then you can tom, you can just do that there for and do our names and stuff. For us how's that sound? So we have a proclamation. It's National Therapy Animal Day proclamation. There are thousands of pet partner therapy animal teams serving and communities across the United States. And whereas pet partners has designated April 30th as National Therapy Animal Day, and whereas scientific research shows that interacting with therapy animals can reduce stress, relieve depression, slow heart rate, lower blood pressure, and strengthen the immune system. And. Whereas therapy animal teams play an essential role in improving human health and well-being through the human animal bond in Lafayette, West Lafayette and Tipeek New County. And whereas, therapy animal teams interact with a variety of people in our community, including veterans, seniors, patients, students, and those approaching end of life. And. Whereas these exceptional therapy animals who partner with their human companions bring comfort and healing to those in need. And whereas we encourage more pet owners to consider becoming pet partner volunteers to help our community by creating greater access to meaningful therapy animal visits. Now therefore, Tony Rosw gave Mayor of Lafayette, Aaron Easter, Mayor of West Lafayette, and Tom Rottot, Tipin' New County Commissioner, due by here bright, pro-claim April 30th, 2025, as National Therapy Animal Day in Lafayette, West Lafayette, and Tipin' New County and encourage our citizens to celebrate our therapy animals and their human handlers. Further, we publicly salute the service of therapy animal teams in our community and in communities across the nation. Thank you. That's wonderful. Mm-hmm. So, here. We'll let you go ahead and adjourn the meeting and then we'll take a picture with everybody, okay? Sure. That'd be all right. That'd be great. Thank you for coming. This is wonderful. And for being here, thanks so much for the work you do and those beautiful dogs. This meeting's adjourned. Yeah. Meeting's adjourned. Thank you. All right. up here and we'll sign it for you and everything.
