Thank you, everyone, and welcome to this joint committee session of the Government Operations Physical Policy Committee and Public Safety. Today we are reviewing one item in the FY26 operating budget. This is the TAVAs Public Safety Programs and Regional Interoperability. This is a joint committee session, and we have government operations has already reviewed the overall TABS budget with the exception of this program, and I will turn over to, unless the chair has anything you're good. All right. I'm turning it over to Dr. Turegas and Miss Farag to walk us through the packet. As you mentioned, you've already looked at the TEMS budget overall, and this is just a part of the TEMS budget. It covers licenses, material, technology, equipment, and staff to support our telecommunications function in public safety specifically. You have here Mike Nubble, who is in charge of the office, also representing Tebs, you have Alison Dollar, and of course, Shamisma Nomura is here from OMB. As you see from the table on page three of the staff report, all the changes from last year are contract price increases in three important contracts, including two from Motorola and one on the E-Jusus program. So from a staff perspective, we see no reason why we should not recommend to you that you recommend to the full council approval of the County Executive Budget as presented. Thank you. Ms. Ragh, anything, Dad? I just wanted to add that, excuse me, that Tebs has been critical in this type of IT support for public safety. And the first two items that is the commuterated dispatch at the Emergency Communication Center, and of course the radio system, eJust as the Records Management System, the Public Safety Committee has talked about this in depth and repeatedly. And it is critical to maintain this legacy RMS until they can get a new one up and running. Great, thanks. Anyone from Tevz or OMB would have anything to add on this? That's Michael Nupel and the manager of the Office of Public Community Programs and Regional Interoperability. And just wanted to say thank you for your continued support on these critical systems. The two most critical mission critical systems in the county, supporting the CAD 911 center along with the radio system. So these increases as Mr. Treggas has indicated are just operational based on the contracts we have in place. Okay, terrific. Anyone have any questions or comments? All right. Council Member Katz or Chair Katz? Well, first off, thank you to Dr. Turegas and Ms. Roggan and to you as well for everything that you do and for, too. We'll look across the room. But for everything you do, this, we've gone through this system has been noted when we're keeping it together with bubble gum and other things and This is something that we necessary we it is a necessity of what we're doing So I thank you for helping us. I thank you for working with us and this seems like this is of all the parts of this budget this year This seems like this is the easiest part. Thanks. Great. All right. With out objection, the joint committees will accept the county executive's recommendation and recommend that to the full council. All right. Then this joint committee is adjourned. Government Operations Physical Policy will come back again at 10 a.m. Thank you, everyone. Thanks for coming over.
