for the moisture that led to their beautiful color. We lift up all those in park county and all that we know and love who are having health challenges. We ask for your loving care and healing of anyone who is suffering and we pray in your name, amen. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. All right, just a quick comment. Commissioner Whistle is not here today. One of his kids has a healthy emergency and he is taking care of family. So that being said, the agenda. Yeah, I'd like to make a couple of changes to the agenda and that the BOE is Dave's primary thing that he is working on. He is not here. We are going to have a meeting next week. The second Tuesday, we normally don't, but we aren't going to have one the third Tuesday. So we're going to have a meeting next week, and I would like to move the Board of Equalization to next week's meeting. And then also the budget draft is not quite ready. It will be ready next week. There were just a couple of items that came up that they're trying to iron out. So the presentation of the draft budget will also be postponed to next week. So with those two changes, I move we approve the agenda. And I would note too that the word presentation is probably a misnomer. It should actually be delivery of budget. That's what the statute requires. Okay, so delivery. Delivery of the budget. Okay. I second that. All in favor. Aye. Aye. All right. So approval of consent items. We have minutes and did not see vouchers. I think that probably is a result of working on the budget. Yeah, it's probably very much as a fact that they've been spending all their time on the budget. So I would move to approve the minutes. And of course, we don't have any vouchers. Second, all in favor. Aye. Aye. At this point, we are up for public comment. If anyone would like to make a comment, please come to the podium or raise your hand on Zoom. And I will recognize you. Thank you. Good morning. I name it John Mack and I'm a concerned citizen. Madam Chair, I object to David Rissles. Now, six-year-old continues oncivil disrespectful and then questioned like a dex against our civil servant and county assessor. The people of Park County told David that he was no longer wanted as an SSR. So a tight time David stopped pretending that we have anointed him as the V up by the current assessor. I also object to David intentionally and un-crisciently blind-siding misgir, when he handed her, and then handed Mr. Ellsner as well, his list of perceived grievances about what she intended to attack Miss Jones. What you need me to wonder why he did not hand a copy to you, Miss Mitchell, the chair. But I'll get back to that in a bit. I further object that David Witzel, knowingly, ended an un-Christian-like behavior fabricated the lie directed at Mr. Rob Green last Tuesday in these chambers. Mr. Rob Green, who I'm my math, is currently a candidate for this board whom David is opposed to. I guess he believes he is entitled to disparage and believe the good or an opponent any other way he chooses. And finally, I have declared them sure that you who profess to bring fairness and openness and transparency to these chambers. Do willingly and knowingly add that loud David Bessel to continue in his uncivil and disrespectful and in Christian-like behavior without even the appearance of corrective action. And that's all I have to say. Thank you for your comment. Anyone else in the room or online like to make a public comment? All right, I see mead Hopkins with your hand up. I'm asking you to unmute. I'm unmuted. Can you hear me? Yes, we can hear you. Terrific. Thank you. Thank you for this opportunity. Last week when I attended the meeting, there was a discussion about a potential meeting between two commissioners that occurred after a closing of a commissioner meeting in the chambers there. And I believe the response that was generated during the meeting last week was that perhaps, perhaps it was just a meeting between a Republican candidate and Republican chair. Which it might have been. I just think that that's probably not an appropriate use of the facility. If in fact that was the case of a, it was a political meeting. And or of course, if it was not a political meeting, but anytime we have two commissioners together in the county that general. We lost you. We lost your audio. There is. We lost your audio. So we missed if you had continued to talk talk we missed quite a bit of that. Okay, can you hear me now? We can hear you now, yes. Okay, so I'll just pick up where I think on that, which was there's two instances last week in which Commissioner Whistle was throwing slurs to everybody. And as the previous gentleman said, Chair Mitchell didn't calm down the room at all. And then there was a second event probably regarding Rob Green and where the chair, oh no, it was regarding I think the county manager position. Anyway, let me just sum up with, it's not a far reach for the public to consider that decisions and things that were made last week or comments that were made last week could have stemmed from that meeting previously in the chair and the chamber. Something which was actually documented in the advocate this last week. We think that if it was a simple meeting of just two people or, but maybe there was more people we don't know. It just seems like the facts of what that was about should be shared with the public, including who was in attendance, perhaps sharing personal notes to show that this was nothing about county business. That's the primary concern. It wasn't about county business, that's the primary concern. It wasn't about county business. And if that information can't come out, we probably owe it to the citizens to look into some kind of an investigation to understand what did take place. So that, as I said, my largest concern here is to county commissioners meeting at any time under any circumstance is probably tenuous at best treacherous at times Just because of the small three three-member panel that we have and all in there. Thank you Thank you for your comment Anyone else like to make a comment raise your, or come up to the podium. Seeing none, I'd like to make a motion to close public comment. Second, all in favor? Aye. Aye. Move to adjourn. Second, all in favor? Aye. Aye. All right, we have concluded just to let everyone know for pure transparency. Commissioner Ellisoner and I are going to discuss legislative items that will come up in front of a vote. Well, my suggestion is we just leave the meeting open so people can listen to us. They want to hear it's pretty dry, not exciting stuff. But Colorado County's Inc is our lobby organization where we work to put forth legislation that will benefit counties. And the counties have the ability to bring this legislation through. We go through a vote where we comment multiple meetings about the legislation and this Friday we will vote on what specific maybe Ford of six pieces of legislation that we're going to focus on through Colorado County's Inc to put forth at the 2025 legislative session. And so we are going to be discussing all of those different And so we are going to be discussing all of those different proposed bills and figure out how we stand on these because we will vote next. I will attend the meeting as the voting person to figure out where we're working on next year. So I'm going to pull up. I've got my notes from the meeting that was two weeks ago. Actually it was as a, as of, don't remember what day it was, but that online meeting all day. So the first one, agriculture, wildlife, rural affairs, treatment of agriculture land and urban renewal authorities. I don't know. No, I don't know. You don't need to record this. You can, you can stop the recording and.
