Letters of interest from agencies with eligible uses for distribution of special forest reserve title three funds received in 2023 Have been submitted to and reviewed by the Park County Board of County Commissioners for distribution The proposed distributions are for search and rescue operations the amount of the title three funds for distribution is $16,148.63 and will be distributed as follows. $16,148.63 to Park County Search and Rescue for costs related to search and rescue missions training and other eligible purposes. Cindy, do you want to give us additional rundown? So I presented this Potential distribution to you back in August we've done our 45-day notice period for this public hearing and normally The director of the search and rescue Daniel Knitzen would be here I think he had another commitment already with some of his school or a search and rescue, but he had submitted a letter. This is for the 2023 distribution and they did request 19,000. All we received was 16,000. 148 dollars and 63 cents. And again, the eligible purposes include things such as their trainings, cost of missions that occur on forced service lands, and there are a variety of other eligible purposes. All right. Thank you, Cindy. Just one more comment. We've distributed to them in the past. And I did also put in your file today just for your reference a copy of their annual report for 2023, so you would see their different activities and missions. Yeah, and if for interest, they have done quite a few, I don't have a line item here, but quite a few different search and rescue missions, helping it looks like someone injured, quite a few people who have been recreating in the forest. And this is for to help fund them for the mission, to take care of anyone who is in the forest and suffering a challenge. Yep, and in particular also a lot of their training that occurs, a lot of their training that occurs. Right. A lot of training. So anyway, thank you. All right. Very good. I'm sure if no one's coming to the podium I would move to close public comment on this issue. Right. I just want to ask if anyone is in opposed to this raise your hand or come to the podium. All right, now Commissioner Ellsmer. Seeing none. The close, yeah, seeing none. Move to close public comment on this issue. Second, all in favor. Aye. Aye. All right, at this point, we, I'm in favor. We awarded them, they use the funds very frugally. They serve a great purpose in Park County and I think that this is a good distribution.
