Motion, Mr. Osteen, second, Mr. Hatch, on the budget for the Big Ben Water Authority. All in favor. All right. All right. Miss Kate. Note. Antide drug. My bad. Thank you so much. We wanted to, one, just let everyone know that this month, September is the month of the recovery month, the national recovery month. And we're going to be doing what's called a recovery stand, and it will be just right on the highway, not keen on either side. It's more of a silent stand you just stand with thongs and so we're going to be doing that in recognizing that there's many pathways to recovery. And the other thing we want to do, we always want to keep you informed what's one of our prevention goals is always to keep you informed of what's happening. And this, or this, we passed out to everyone and I have one copy for being aware of this. It's just the risk, the risk of real marijuana about marijuana and how it affects mentally and physically, or use. And the second thing I apologize on each one of the rooms. But this was the 40-year survey, substance abuse survey, and reported that 60 counties had a survey 52% of the youth in Dixie County, and among the middle school, 30%, 30.9% had reported using marijuana. The high school had 44%, 3% and believe it or not, there were more girls that used marijuana than they were males. So these are the statistics that we've most recently, the 22 youth survey. And then we will also want to include you because amendment three is coming up for a vote, which is the legalization of recreational marijuana. We wanted to give you some facts so that you can make an informed decision as the approval of that. And that's what we have for you. So I have more copies of any work with live ones. The stand I apologize. I have copies. I just get $30,000. It's a lot of data. The stand is going to be set to in-premise or at 9.38. We just have a stand and we have signs. And we usually get a good response with people traveling by, you know, it's just like a sense of violence. And I have a coffee in there. Committee on this, uh, for a minute, so is that the way it's riddled on the ballot? Because that looks like it's 220. Yeah. What's obviously sorry. So that's the right off your ballot. Hold the limit for you. No. Okay. This looks... Do you? No. Allow us 21-year-olds or older to the ZAPS purchase or use marijuana products, and marijuana accessories for non-medical costs. Conception by smoking and gas ginseng, otherwise. So, as medical marijuana through the federal, and the other state license, it tends to be to acquire property, product, and index, or sell it to you the product and accessories. Like before the law does not change, or do not immunize violations of federal law, establishes sufficient limits for personal use. Allow consistent police budget provision to run terms and provide effective things. It's pretty big. Yeah. I know what, 30 years ago they thought I was voting not to ban nets, but actually the way they had it worded, I was. And I don't want to support something like that Hey holler at us now if you don't get it. Just say hey hey I mean, she's been with us all over the world. Yeah. Hey, holler at us now. If you don't get it, just say, hey, hey. Okay. Miss Sheila. How much money do you... Yes, that we need to get, try to find y'all. What was it? That's why I brought. Bulls. Bulls. Come on, come on up here, Bob. You had to talk about 50, that's it. 50, okay, is that that? We're talking about 100, but we'll take 50. We need to bend the metal. Alright. By mistaken, I don't know what we got plans on it, All right. The big land. The big mistaken, I don't know what we got plans on it, but we got a check coming from what's the data plan for? From the VOT for sure at Ireland. So I don't know what we got planned for that. So we got a little bit of money coming in. We got it yet, but we was blessed for that. So you helping our youth. So I think that money will be well spent on our children. So. Thank you, Statewide, our commission dollars for just being by 52. That was only $20 by quarter. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. have, you know, the brain shows us out until they're 21. We're already feeling with other issues. But we do have plans to be in the school. We're working in conjunction with our superintendent to do as much as they will allow us to in the school of prevention to inform our use of the dangers. Saving marijuana, knowing the wall. Well, in our just in school this month along, we have 16 opportunities to actually use the education. And then of course our month of October, you know, it's really busy with all the holidays and textbooks. And so you should see us everywhere on'm in, even at all times. Yeah, we're trying to go to all the malls at home gangs and hand out information to the parents and to the students and just trying to be wherever we need to be. So y'all, they all have to pay a mission to go into these games. I'll say, oh, I don't know what to do. I don't think so. I think there are letting nothing work. I think you're going in. I think you're letting because we set up a table or and we've been doing like shout out. Okay. Thank you all for doing everything. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Now, Ms. Kay Yuton. Thank you. We had a board meeting last week and we worked on our new budget. Just got over the income. We definitely have not fully recovered from Hurricane Idelia comparing the years, grew down about 15,000 from the year of the hurricane. We're going to do some more marketing and let everybody know that we're up and running and everything is good and the fishing is great. We are working to update the events on the websites. We're going to start a monthly blog program to get some new information out there on the county. We are going to also start helping our local businesses with marketing. We're going to start a video co-op that we're going to offer to all of our businesses to make some videos, make a video for them, that they can use on their website and then we can also use it on the county website and start really trying to help them get some business going back up that they might have lost in the last year. I'm collecting the question on the picnic tables and the grills for pick-able civilians. Paul and I are working on the electric. And as soon as we get all the FEMA staff caught up, we'll start looking at helping out something that we're shooting to. I do too. Dixie has joined the National North Florida co-op for advertising in the visit Florida visitors guide. We're also looking into advertising in a couple other fishing magazines down in Central and South Florida, so I got names of. We'll be going to sending the Atlanta camping in RV show in January, which we have gone to before. It's been very successful. You'll see it's got back from the one in O'Halla. And we're also going to go to the Fisher Rama show, which is in Perry, Georgia. And we wish to it several years ago. That's in February. We're still looking for one more show like that around fishing, loading, and outdoor. That's a big place up there. There's thousands of fish in the spring. Yeah, it's very nice. I worked at, I guess about five years ago, and we had a good, good response. Because most of the people these shows, some of these shows, they're selling things. And so they love coming talk to people that's not trying to sell and selling, just gives them some information about a good place to go fishing. Let's see. We've also, again, to help our local businesses have increased our marketing grants for our major events from 250 to 500 for the major localized events for advertising outside of our area. And also to help, of course, you recovery a little more, we're going to sponsor both there, use January, Measick, Sessville, and their April Fishing Tournament. Additional things, we're discussing, we're going to try to put together some, whether it's some paper plates that have a map of Dixie and on the back we'll have things to do in Dixie, something that they can get out at the restaurant, the restaurant to put them on the table, do some pictures with some crayons, and so I'll tie that for the kids, and try to get a little more information, especially if you're putting it out at the RV places because people come here and you can immediately give them something to tell them the different things to do because there's a lot to do here, but it's hard to find some of it. You don't know where to go look. And speaking of restaurants and such, for us you need to have a new one. It's called Sensei Grill. It's replaced with a shrimp rent, that is restaurant and have a nice place to pay. So try to go out and support our, all of our restaurants, especially our new ones. And that's it for me, let's you have any questions. Hey, the marina, I'm up to you, is it? Yes. The marina, I feel? Yes, yes, marina is now, but thank you. That's okay. Yes, sir. Twenty-twenty-five years ago, we used to have carnivals and stuff come around. I've had a lot of kids and a lot of parents asked me about that. Why don't we do that anymore? Okay. Any contact with anybody like this? Are you talking about a group coming in from out of town doing a carnival? Or is he an incredible carnival? No, he's an incredible carnival. I haven't heard anything about that. We talked about meeting about possibly trying to get a band shell or something like that. We could have local events at. Talk about trying to set up a better area to have some of these type of events at. But I've never looked into how to find, get a hold of those carnival grips that I use. Well, you used to have them there, I hear about them. Yeah, I used to have one every year. I used to have them there. I don't know if they're in the background. I don't know if we are in the business. They still haven't liked City 2, I think they've left there. Yeah, they're poor, they're doing the marathon, they're having a win. They still haven't liked City 2, I think they're up there. Yeah, I think they have to make some of the things they do, they just see one go, we're gonna find out who's the charge. They got a little free, get the free. I'm going to sell. And I got a little free, get the free. He's in that top business Always old place Oh He's wanted Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He wanted to do all of the shows, but that's what we're gonna record. It's like a lizard. Lizard. Yeah, it's on the show. It's on. Yeah. Oh, the world won't be different. So, did we go to the pubes and their house? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And the future, I have had a few people ask me about a pickleball court in Carl City and a pickleball court in Old Town somewhere so we need to kind of We were just talking about that before the meeting. Exactly. were just talking about that before the meeting. And I was wondering, I don't want to do the old buildings and they will come because they're not cheap. Exactly. But I thought maybe I'll work with Karen and see if maybe at the turkey trot and Thanksgiving. We can just have somebody there at the sign up table with a little questionnaire to see if we can even get a list. Okay. Together to see if those would be kind of some of the people that might be interested in it. But if they can get used, they don't want to spend money on it. Right, exactly. That's the thing. They don't want to spend money on it. They don't remember. One of the other intentions of be able to do fire station with the old one, of course, district there at the interstation. If we can build, I don't have any plans for that. If you don't want anything, I'd like to convert that into a fork. I've got to convert. I think we're going to be fine there. But that was we don't have any here for it. After my cruise blew that. We're starting to think about what they're about to do. Thank you. Thank you. Mr. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Mr. Steve Copeland, he's not here. Steve's not here. They asked to have a high-daired board meeting tonight, but he's swung up at the yard so they can counsel it to the next Monday. Mr. Mr. Jim, why were're on this just for an update. It was thought to our attention that the importance we've got, we need to add some language in it, clean up some stuff in regards to elections. I am working on that. I'm working with the supervisor of elections. We haven't had an official election of the board since 2012. So some of that has got to be tightened up. So I will be bringing that before y'all also. This election will proceed as scheduled because we're in the level hour of it, but we will need to make a few changes going forward so the shower aware of it I will bring bring in that back and we'll be adding an amendment just in regards to the election rules right now so the child can understand what's on the out the previous policy said all the district five would vote is it three I'm sorry I get my district confused, but yes. That's the Sony, the Sony. The Sony district would be the voting district, which can come further out than just where the actual service is providing. So one of the changes that I believe the board has launched, of course, I'll come back before we all want that more, is that it's for the citizens that have an account. Yes. And when I'm trying to look at in comparison, just so you all kind of understand if something like the central Florida, they have one vote or, you know, family, one district type thing, because I've got two meters, don't mean I get two votes. Exactly. So that's what we're kind of working on is to clear that up so that it's not as confusing and also to narrow it down where it's not all the way out to the end of the district. And some of the district three doesn't have any order in 20. And that's the top of things that we're trying to tighten up. But that's for this time, it's where we're going to ask. It has been since 2012. OK. I'm going to actually state your name. I can't force. But that's only in that. Is that just for 60 county residents there? Is that for if you got service speakers, they're probably on this. That's for that's the swan. that is one of the things that we are actually trying to straighten up is going to what I believe I could say this would be by the direction of my board of course I don't have to have to do that. I don't know. I'm cleaning that up to speak you have a couple people said they're not boarded don't live in 20. I's out of county. I think you don't really serve per user per account. It's not Mr. Jimmy. I know he's got, he lives in Brown for my mother's camp vote, but then you're going to bring bringing. Right. That's one of the things that we're seeing, but the problem, that's the way it was written, is it was voters in the district, okay? What the supervisor and I've talked about as we believe it would be better if it was members who have an active account. Very similar to the way the board is set up. Right now I say there are three members that have to live in Dixie County that sits on that board. There's two basically at large for like a better way of script. They can be Dixie County, but they don't have to be. But they have to have a account. So the, my thinking, of course based on what y'all direct me, is that that will be very much where we want the vote to be run off though is, if Mark lives the Dixie County wants to vote he has an account no problem but if Mark lives and Georgian wants to vote that would not necessarily be it tied to the Dixie County election itself it's tied strictly to that water board and we do run on our special election so it is a little bit different than you know the D the big county only election. There was only one that's doing something. There's other areas in the states, you know, say, playing, so, and I reach out. How's Big Man doing? Big man. Same wife. Big man from the H.E. file. How's that? That's the other board. You gotta be there You gotta be a Account holder, right? Exactly. That's why this should be also. Yep Good deal We get must have some say that because we just approved the budget All right, yep, that's it. I will reach out and see if what their policy is and I'll bring them back to you all before we actually make it official ever. There's nothing we can be able to do right now. No, the election at where we're at right now is to would be nice. Yeah. We're not be able to be stopped without. Of course, she's already had to spin out her upper day to spin all that off, son. Okay. All right. Some things that we will need to strap. Okay. Mr. Bailey. Is it not here? Mr. Lockler. No, I'm not here to nod forward about printup. Let me stay in there. Luckily Daniel So that's all I have. If you have any questions, I can relay them back and get you an answer. Thank you very much. Cindy's not here. Which person's handling is 349? three forty nine. Hey, what's going on? Wait, whatever we're going to get to that. Okay, Miss Cindy's right here. Mr. Breeman, he's not here. That's not here. Mr. Dan, you ain't got nothing? I got one thing. Okay. So, when he's got, um, now, and three clean up, set 10th of 21st, looks to that. So, September 21st with to that. So I think it's this weekend. The all be okay. We're setting, getting Tim set a temperature down there for the cleanup for them. Yes. Do we got an extra nook to use down there? We have. I'll get you the contact information and what to put it out. But you all want to do a motion on that? We got a motion. Mr. O'Shoes, Dean Second, Mr. Wood, I want to play with. Thank you. Mr. Scott? Thank you, Mr. Scott. Mr. Scott. Thank you, Mr. Scott. Mr. Brown. Thank you, Mr. Scott. Mr. Brown. I have a thing called the chalk Pope mean. Mr. Brown. Thank you. Mr. Brown. Mr. Bill, yes, the question about the building color of the land by portion, We have actively been negotiating with them in the last couple weeks. We sent them an offer. They sent us, not to counter all fur, it seems to be their agreeable. Those offers, they didn't like to lay out of the lands. We've been working with that today, all less within budget, and well within our cost and more food we were desiring, not a astronomical number. But we, I think tomorrow morning when I can send that back, I think we've come to a degree in our fair rate. We had about 500 foot of highway for each piece. They opted to change that so that some of the excess land and the rack around the back of the county park there. And we're finding that as long as the front of the building. We had to buy a little more than we wanted that stuff. That's its own, I don't know what it's only, but it's minimum 10 acre build in order to get that so that we could bring that to the board and advertise and change that zone. We had to buy at least five acres. We only needed about three and a half. So we went ahead with the five acres also. It looks like those numbers are probably gonna be agreeable, but until we just definitive answer back on it to deepen it. But it's adequate enough that we'll be able to build the other station for that but still by the land up there. So it looks like it's moving along the well to be told that by the end of the month they need some answers because they're running out of stuff to build it. So that's coming along old town station four is just about there with the metal. I got to think the back wall and the bay area and the end wall finishing down over what is up the day before I got all that done today and they'll put the roof on it and the door's coming in a couple weeks. You see now and the fire alarm in there, this week hanging hangers and after that they'll put up stud walls, I've got wall colors on my desk to pick from and they're going to be able to see Bill and Mr. Ganey has noticed a proceed that has been presented today for Mr. Kellen. Maybe they got the building permits. So that is moving pending towards approval and signature and they'll be able to start working next week at the year of the scene. So all those projects are moving along. Today Mr. Gardner, myself went over to a joint in Canada with a research model. We had an opportunity to meet with representatives. Just to show, I'm sorry, and Senator Perry, tomorrow and myself and Chief Ferguson, we're going to tell our hasn't been able to send for Simon to discuss some possible advancements of medical care in the county. We don't know what that means. We're going to ask questions to say how can you help us? We've had a couple of weeks. I don't know what that means. I don't know if I have a doctor's office. If that's band-aid hospital. No. Hospitals. for if they can tell us how to proceed. We've been in contact with multiple agencies in Britain for the last few months, year, year and a half, two years. Some things are moving, some things are stolen, but I figured it's time to involve the latest laser and start getting them involved as well. Don't know where they're going to go. We're going to be up there most of the day tomorrow, so wish us well. Anything else? We got space tape on the road. Yes. I got one thing there. She doing a lot of outside. Really people do the county. What is the outlook on my possibly yet? Horseshoe back in my low surge will be closed for extended lethal time. Horseshoe part, other than the standard, we're waiting on Finland delays. There's no consequences there. The surge is the bridge. As soon as they start sending us money to get to that point, we're y'all can safely and adequately do it. And, you know, we're at that point, we're just waiting on them. I think it's the last meeting, they're actually doing well that as much as it sounds like we're not, but we can't control their speed. But as soon as those problems, I just said, I'll add insurance money, you could work with, but if you don't do it, that's hell and also when we do something wrong. So they're going to be getting that money back. Yep, I'm going to be going to fix it. Oh, my play out word about it, the buy-through, the buy-house. Well, all of that's included. They're all in different projects, but we haven't done anything definitive only yet. I wish I could tell you different, but that is the answer we get. But it is moving. I told you last meeting that we spoke to our contractors and she said we're doing everything we need to do is waiting in and out. So it seems like the check is in the case, we'll be able to say. It doesn't answer your question. I'll help you, Bill. I'm going to have to put my stuff in the chair for the first time. I'll be next month. We have several meetings. I'll probably be in this meeting. So I will be out and meet something. My staff will be here. I'll be out of the eye. I think we'll be able to rest something. Thank you. Miss Gale. Miss Gale's not here. Miss Holly's not here. Miss Angie, go anything? We will have everything on it. We need no longer be in September 23, and that way, we'll set them every point for the first half of the day. Thank you, Miss Angie. Mr. Powell. Thank you very much, Chairman. A board time to be mentioned in board. You don't have a lot of meetings last time, so you still have a few. And we'll start with action item number one, and we'll be quick, for approval for the ship. We'll need some lead for Chris to proceed. Hodge and the amount of a 24,000 999. Motion. Motion. Motion. Mr. Wood, second. Mr. Roestyn, all in favor. Number two. We'll request more approval to exit the F-tax and mosquito control agreement. Number 3155, or fifth, could your 2024, 2025? Is there a math of 65,494 orders and 12? Most. I'm position Mr. Osteen. Second. Second. The state's an all in favor. Well, as you said, there was an issue there, a loading card. Did that care of it? We're still working with that company, that's about to track the system on the call. And we have not got those total of two of those. We have two of those protected. And back to the number three three three three three three three three three three three three three $260,443.00. We got a motion, Mr. Stevenson. Second, Mr. Wood, all in favor. And just for information, we are hoping that that project will take place in conjunction with the Morphe second house area. That is widening the shoulders and payment marking. Okay. Check, Trude. Right, I see. That's the shape of throat. Go on to your house. widen it out. Thank you. Number four, request Board approval to execute the pass or associate's LLC work order 23-14R for the T-hanger and tax-erang construction at the airport in the amount of 27,756 dollars. Ayes Dean, second Mr. Luegawe. Discussion. All in all, the support and funds come to court. Well, anything that happens out of the airport, part of the funds at the O.T. Part of the funds got SAA. So there are funds that are allowed every year for certain projects. And if those projects don't take place, they able to re-alert the phone to somewhere else. So the phone, at the airport, is constantly changing from one location to the other to the North Coast for the year to the other. So that's why you have additions and deductions and more additions just to be able to move those money to have those different parts available from a big project. Very confused. All we know is DMT and SSA area. Okay, they're coming out of general phone on the end. Well, back in, yeah. Okay, so number eight, request board approval of the FD of the new hangar building, amendment number two, additional funding funding of $400,000. Faving project and begin negotiations for contract. Motion. Motion. Mr. Hatch. Second. Mr. Osteen. All in favor. All right. All right.. Hatch, Mr. Rosestein, all in favor. Oh, I thought that answered your question there. That man right behind you, turn right right there. That's him. The reason I have that question is it came up at our tourism meeting about the community center being moved out of the park. And I realized I had time that I spent not so much as this was the one that was certain for those experts when you're writing your box cart back and forth to the community center. I just didn't know if there would be, you know, like a lane. We talked about putting something, that's how many other conversations we've got. That's the thing, meet and tell you if you remember we were talking about the water there, the water flat used to be right in the edge of the town. When you move it out, there's some property carry-on there, there's a adjacent piece of property that might be able to be acquired. We'll get to that aspect also keeping it a little closer to this. Okay. Just follow. Yes sir. Mr. Chairman. The 12th is to request for approval to reschedule the Hucktober 3rd, 2024 policy and procedure workshop. And that is due to several key department heads that are going to be out of town or not available that day. So, those can just put on that and decide that a later date will be hold back or they can set a date now. a lot of later they would hold that for the next day. So it's that thing. So the ending of the 17th, which is our next board meeting, and Darren, you all said y'all was good, but that date all said. I will mark the year that has one or two days. I will mark that real. But you have somebody here that, okay, so let's just reschedule that and that our meetings starts at 6. Right? So what do you all want to do? 4.30, 5 o'clock? 5 o'clock. 5 o'clock on the 17th. Everybody good with that? Yes, but all in anyway. Bad public statement. We just got scheduled problems. Yes, we got a anyway bad father's team procedures. We just got schedule problems Yes, we got a motion mr. Hatt second mr. Osteen all in favor Okay, no more 13 I request for the proofing for the Hatchie call He went to the hill at the crack in human on call for 25 and 26 and 31 Motion Mr. Osteen second miss was it all in favor That's all of the yet to not use the chairman of the agreement to let you notice the board though that you are well aware that there's my last meeting with the attendee and the resolution to the chairman on starting morning. I appreciate the opportunity to forward and give them me over the last almost three years now and just been one of the students who could be able to have any of this. Thank you, Mr. Paul for everything you've done for us. So at this time I need a motion for us to advertise. It's got a motion, sir. We got a motion, Mr. Steven and the sick at Mr. Osteen. All in favor. All in favor. All in, Mr. Gill. Thank you, Mr. Fox. Mr. Cheney? Well, if we do the other side of it, then all that stuff, how long are we going to take to get the way hard? We won't take at least two weeks, half past two weeks, correct? Yeah. Okay. After that, depending on who you choose, how quick they can report, and several other factors that have to be weighed in. How many you get, you may want to narrow the field or you may want to interview home. There are a lot of different variations, but we do have to run it for two weeks. Because this is like that I usually do in the NDE and usually game for fun. I think that's it. I'll work. Crouch areas of it. You got something for that? Yes, that's one of the things I did look at that is more sensitive to how the board deals, we can require different levels of education, different experience. We can make a preference or we can say absolutely if you don't have a master's degree in engineering, don't bother to apply. I don't think that's where we want to be. But it must definitely go on top of the future deal for that last phase on a 20-ville set. There's a lot of different areas there to cover. Like I say, personally, I think it was only somebody with quite a few years of experience or at least some training in that area. I think it's a lot of stuff that comes out of Mr. Paul's office. There is times of Mr. Paul's office, there are just times of it. Today I've handled probably about 10 things for him that he sent to me today, that's just a piece of what he sent out today. That's pretty consistent. So there's a lot of stuff that goes through there. There's a lot of, you know, he has to deal with personalities. You have to deal with destruction and pavement, so you want someone to have some kind of management skills as well as some experience, supervising large departments because there's roughly about 15 or 20 have 130 employees all total probably. It's a lot of. A lot of different. A lot of people. Not all of that that he has to oversee and also we have to have someone who can. Interact with our citizens as well as our politicians. And know the area. There. I'm going to say this. Is this a sickle bottom? I want someone to work with you. We have someone. We have one. We have one. Well, I know that. But he's excited that it was time so he can get him talked. If he's back into a corner. Well, I'm sorry, but can you get us a template? A couple of years. Yes, and I think we've got the assistant position. Because many of the duties will be very similar to what we advertised when we did for the assistant. I think we want to beef up probably a little bit of the requirement. And if Angie can fill us the copy of that, if you all want it, I'll get her to make us a copy of the advertisement for the assistant. I didn't get it no dear. Okay I'm gonna just miss it when I'm head out the door but we'll get y'all one sent out. She sent it out because I'll get it sent y'all the y'all can review it. We'll get that together because we want to get advertised as soon as possible. I'm trying to get that out. Paper to have to get that out. I think today. Next week. Next week. Next week. Next week. Next week. Next week. Next week. This might come up in that way. That's kind of give us the input. I don't know how rest of board feels, but I mean, it's rosy too. I'm all up for whatever I think. This moss is gone. I would have to pick up a lot of eggs for waste there. They need to be so far for all that eggs for work until we get that permission. I'm not very sure. I'll do a little bit. We know it's going to be at few advertised for two weeks. You're not going to have any one in place. I figured at least a month because anybody, a good person, don't have a decent job and then they want to have to, they will at least give at least two weeks notice to the other employee if they do. They don't wait on either. Exactly, because I don't see how. They will probably look at it six to eight weeks before you get a fight from today. Has your old holder to go that long, you say? They can do it. Well, any increase doesn't make a fact with our days anyway. If it falls within a 30 days, it's... If you need no information, that's a good excuse. I just don't want to get gulped up. I'm about to wait for the office. I'm going to go with that. Thank you. So how does the witness for that? Is that it? Is sheaina? Yes. As y'all will look here, you get asked for a bachelor's degree. We did for the assistant. Again, I think the pressure we had for the assistant pretty on point, they want to increase their experience and supervisory level just to try to get someone in here. I was hopefully held a similar position. They're talking in, not knowing our community and not knowing our citizens. They've got a huge task coming in. They're not usurpolicy and the way we handle things. So you've got a what is the salary for this job on that one. I will defer back to business. Currently. business. Currently you have to pay for the money for the cost of the bill. I did look. Without paying the other terms. Okay. Now I did look at Florida County Association of County Websites that did not currently as of this time have a county manager position and they did have a business operations manager in their start-to-stories, which their certification they were asking for with the bachelor's degree in the same type of area of construction engineering and four years of relayed experience for them to associates with six years or professional experience on a them to associate the six years or professional experience on a year for year, two years or more of supervisory experience. They were starting range there of 74.0 to 82.0. Okay, now I'm sure that it would include help in everything for that individual, which, as we know that Mr. Palded have that. So that's where he's talking about. I looked at a what they do. I think I have. I'm not really hardy, but they give him quite a bit of a raise. It's not hiring a fifth and I spoke. They give him a $40,000 raise, which is $1.65. Leave the county. Leave the county's one round 165. Jefferson has a county manager's sufficient. They're advertising their salary ranges 82 to 120. Those are kind of you spread their gentlemen. I think you're going to have to look at the experience. If you don't have highly qualified, you probably go on take quite a bit more money. If you take someone who doesn't have quite as much qualifications, they get on the lower end of it. But it's one minute and half they're taking off. Is that it? This one? It is, gentlemen. I did have a little bit of an update on our Milton case. We're still in negotiation. We have the attorney that's handling that. I have issued another proposal for settlement. We have the attorney that's handling that issue to another proposal for settlement. I have not accepted it as of this point. So where we're setting right now is this might still be going to trial. But if we have to get a trial, my personal opinion is that this would be a good one to take the trial. No, I don't get any of this calls. We cannot pay in that bill. The insurance is paying it. But that attorney has said the same thing basically. We will see where that is. They shall as they proceed right now. We're going to go to shade. That's all I have for you gentlemen. Thank you Miss Chena. The sickle month. Y'all know of what we came into three and a half years ago. We have worked hard together to move forward as a team. We started with Wayne Cannon, which was great. We worked great. He decided to read and Paul was able to step up and focus shoes and work with us well also. I came home from conference Friday and got the phone call that I figured was coming but I didn't want to get. I hate to lose hands, I hate if he's done what he needs to lose. And I really think he and the board would consider their position as they're so sent and advertised and tried to fix something that's not broken. Here's the time saying that we're sitting here having this discussion. Well, I certainly was offered to say it's also sometimes I could not turn it the way. They just put the bird to it, but I made up. I think Jamie Trudd. No one will let me do it. I feel like I want to set pure resolution. I've got one more thing. Mr. Paul talked earlier this morning about the problems that we're having in the with the leaking roofs in our offices. I have garbage cans all over our offices because the roof is leaking or our ceiling is leaking. It's leaking in Robby Lee's office. It's leaking in the sheriff's office. It's leaking in the jail portion. And like I said we have garbage cans all over our floors and my employees are gonna trip over them one day this morning somebody's gonna get hurt and we need something done we've been asking for over a month and they keep sending people down the con they say's condensation and it's not going to get any better until the pipes are all the insulation is taken off the pipes and new insulation is put on. And if you just let them dry out, they're going to get moldy. That's going to cause more smell in our courthouse than what we have already we get complaints from customers coming in all the time that there is a bad odor in our courthouse we need something done well I'll be the first to have somebody to come in and replace it. Mr. Chair, I did come after speaking with all of the folks to make this guy today that looked through their informed me of what the situation was. I did ask them to reach out to some per conditioners from HVAC professionals to come in here and look at the situation and give us a better opinion and their thoughts on what it would take to fix the problem. So we're waiting for you to be able to get me into coming here looking to give us some quotes and what it would call to be either replace the dealt work or fix whatever's up there. So we do have that in process. So at some point there will be some quotes and some opinions coming back and what it would take to fix the problem. Okay. There will be some quotes and some opinions coming back Okay Anything else All right county commissioner I don't miss wood Paul I want to look into getting I've been trying just two years, but I but we've got to get some speed bumps down there. That road goes right through the middle of the campground that we charge people to park in. It's all the way to the length of it, and they're just going up and down that road. Fine. We've done signs, we've done lights down there, so that's a very another way around it. We just put some speed bumps in there, it's quite slow now. That's all I got. Did real good working with you. I hate to see you go. Good luck on future future debtors. I don't have none. Just thank Paul for what he's done him and his staff. He worked hard and I appreciate it. I know we disagree from time to time but I'm sorry it's part of it but I do appreciate everything. Thank you Paul. Mr. Restayne. Just thank you for paying does mean quick work. We're going together. She's best at working for the good. She made me call also. Also, I've had a few calls from some systems. Got air. And I think that it's just on that thing. Had she seen me. Forward down there. Worked on both sides of the county. And I haven't told them it's using a batting box because that school of court gates are lost. So I would like to see that. We feel some bad engages over there. That D-track over there, what you're trying to say about deeper kids. The opportunities are there to help them out in the baseball. Do I need a motion for that or can we look into it? There's going to be somebody for a prepared make-up. I'm going to have to look at you here. That is something we could definitely look at on what it was called for our guys to put a high-level look for any of the first net to go on. Yeah. My thing is I did a look into that and then maybe at the next meeting gave you some actual numbers that it was called to do that and that point is you were good. How was that, was that? Well, I appreciate the call. Thank you. Mr. Stevenson. I got a couple things. Once Paul, I appreciate you for not leaving the side of the bow. We got light at 3.49 and a purse and a little hoe and we'll never find the bore. We've got several vests. I'm not rude and I'll really appreciate you getting that back here. Say you play, I think you're putting back a good job here. Just a tie harder than the way it left. Just like it was right off it. I think I think it's a good move. I think it's good. I've got your mind set. I think you've done well for the county, been once you were handed and how it all could fire and went down. And just had that long to get a breath of what was going on for you had to do the whole thing. The other thing is, I wasn't here, I got to think what there to be, you can get about the Dicti County audit highlight specifically. I heard you said here, it said the deer in my last, about the Dicticality audit highlights specifically. I notice it here, it's the year of my last, it's 23, we secured a, I make it 700,000, $1,000 worth of debt that we had. I wonder if we've done anything into budget to halt that in the up, just upcoming year. Well, what about grants in that total. Yeah, it wouldn't be, I mean, is that, if you, probably the best thing, I just don't like how they presented a small amount of property, but that came from the auditorium. Yeah. So, I understand why you're trying to come up with a lot of work. And you should have the audit, the whole door audit. Actually, I have to check it out. I can go get two medicals. Anything else? Anything else that sticks? That's all. This is actually done in a baby just now. And then we cut out. Yeah. Are you on top of that? You know what's going on there? I know we're having them done down there. But I need to be done down there. Right. But I think it's something that they were while they're waiting Someone I was down somewhere where they couldn't lower that it would Not sure the reason behind that is because the time frame of those covers are going to be needed. First, the sports found those covers are going to culture right now at the moment. After talking about finance and working at what's available right now, it's been just out for years. But here, we don't have $120 twenty thousand dollars in the covers away there to make. You know, kind of probably changes. Starting after the new budget here. Okay. Mr. Paul, it's been a pleasure. I'm going to miss you. We don't advertise till next week. So if you go home and what I'm trying to say is, and what I'm listening, if you look at ladies on your heart, tell me and I relay the message if you decide to stay but I know I've menu talked about it and I'd probably be the same way you are so I just hate it I'm gonna miss you I know Miss Marvis will miss you I thought it well, but it is what it is. Now it's Y'all's time. Anybody got anything to say? Public? Thank you, thank you for your service. Thank you, thank you for your service. Thank you, Paul. Nobody got nothing to say. We need a motion to adjourn. We'll go on motion, Mr. Roasting. I expect I could take it, Mr. Pat's all in favor.
