We're glad to have you all here in attendance today. And those of you who may be watching, welcome. This time I'd like to welcome our public health director, Dr. Matt Richardson. If I'll back to you if you're pleased, then I do want to remind you right to please turn off your cell phones Good morning judging commissioners if you'll just take a moment with me and But we pray to our God. This prayer comes from Thomas Aquinas and it's probably my favorite, so I'm going to read this this morning. Grant, O merciful God, that we may ardently desire, carefully examine, truly know, and perfectly fulfill those things that are pleasing to you into the praise and the glory of your holy name. Direct our life, O God, and grant that we might know what you would have us to do and for us to fulfill it as necessary and profitable to our soul. Grant to us, O Lord, our God, that we may not be found wanting in prosperity or in adversity and that we may not be lifted up by one or cast down by the other. May we find joy in nothing but what leads us to you and sorrow in nothing but what leads us away from you. May we seek to please no one or fear to displease anyone save only you. Grana O Lord God, a vigilant heart that no subtle speculation may ever lead us from you, a noble heart that no unworthy affection may draw us from you, an upright heart that no evil purpose may turn us from you. Give us a steadfast heart that no tribulation may shatter and a free heart that no violent affection may claim as its own. And finally, Grannis O Lord our God, a mind to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you. Give us a way of life pleasing to you, perseverance to trust, and await you, and confidence that we shall embrace you at the last. Amen. Thank you. Please join me in the pledge to the American flag. I pledge allegiance to the flag, the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all, and now to the Texas flag.
