I don't feel bad. I don't feel bad. I don't feel bad. What? Have you ever like, I was talking to you. We were hunting on the show. Yeah, I did it now like two fast flippers trying to get it. 30 feet. Yeah. I got down there. I was talking back on the rhythm. That's it, yeah. It was very distant. This is one of these. I'm not going to be surprised. Oh, is he not enough yet? Jim is not enough? Yeah. Oh, it's not enough. It's not enough. It's not enough. It's not enough. You can take this back out here. Oh, yeah. It's not enough. It's not enough. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's not enough. It's not enough. Yeah. It's really hanging out. It's like an answer to that. Do it. Sensex. Sensex. Yeah, sensex. Please. Come on with this. You got to gain a bit. Very rock and roll. Come on, thank you. OK. All right. Call the order. March 4, 2025. EDA meeting. We need to do a roll call after. We welcome the newest member, Alan Brangin. Yeah, you got it. Thank you. All right, Becky. And the roll call, also looking out for Shell Isobl. They become like Alan Brangman. Here. Here. Senator Pierce. That plan. I see you join virtually. I'm here. Oh, sorry. Yeah. Oh, here. Just who's there? Matt. I am. I'm in an airport in Knoxville with a delayed flight. And I'm supposed to be in an airplane. So you have me for a little while. I don't know how long. Great. Thanks, Matt. Bride Williams. Not Elliott Land being Ross. Thank you. We've got approval of our traffic, where we 425, EDH, meeting minutes. Oh, I'm sorry, that's right. Yeah, we have to do this, Matt. Matt, you got to do remote participation. Somebody want to make a motion to allow for a match remote participation. We don't. It's all. Jim Quill second. I have to. Where are you? Yeah. So you're at the airport, Matt? I am at the airport in Knoxville on my way back, but on a delayed flight. OK. Is there a prompt point? No, but it is windy. We need to do a roll call to approve that when Yes All right, excellent. Thank you. All right moving on to our approval of draft that way for 2025 EDM minutes and questions for would like to make any motion to approve our Thank you. Thank you. you you you you you to Missed you. You were all right. Matt, can you hear us? I have audio now, nobody here. Yep, we can hear you. There's video. Thanks. Are you okay with the minutes, Matt? Yes. Okay. Rachelle texted and said, you need a chance you can have. She needs to remote access instructions. She can't make it here tonight. The person. If she just stalled in. Okay. They don't have to become the agenda. There's a link on the agenda. We need to map, yes. We forward. Do you want to go on and back together? Oh, let's just continue. You can dial in. She gets it. Okay. So one of the things we need to do tonight, Bob Young served on this, well, let's call community development already. I think I'm here to cheer. And so we need to elect a new media member to serve on that board. Then you can play it on this. But it's a board that doesn't meet very often. Yeah, we probably didn't meet you back for really just to review what we are in terms of expenditures. We review it on ready returns are quarterly. But at least I know it's in person, so I'm looking at, this is a one year appointment. Um, I don't want to put Alan on the spot, but I had a chance to, I had a chance to speak with Alan during appointments, uh, and knowing his background. And I remember everyone's had an opportunity to talk with Alan about his background. When I saw this on the agenda, I thought it would be a great opportunity to have him involved because he's had quite a bit of experience with these larger deals like this. Alan, if you're up for it, I'd love if you'd take it unless there are others here that feel strongly. I'm a sucker for punishment. I don't want to take that personally out. That's because there's a whole bunch of things going on. Thursday I'll be at the old Georgetown Board because I share that for the district. So a lot of stuff happening. Yeah, no, I'd be happy. Correct. This will be last stuff with not, but it's going to be a question. Yes. Do we need to take a vote? Okay. Okay. Do we need to take a motion? Oh, yeah, but I can make a motion. That Alan Brangman, represent the EDA of the West Falls Community Development Authority. Second. Second. Okay. General Boot. Yes. Oh. We'll call Ross Lichtenhounds. We'll call Ross Lipkin Hale, Allen Brangman, Jim Coil, Sandy will go. Yes, and uh, we'll call Ross the connells. Yes. Alan Brayman, Jim Coil, Sandy here. You want to? Yes. Matt Gwen. Yes. Matt and Joe with us. Yes, I am. So, a council makes the appointment that'm sure it will be a problem. Okay. You have a nominee. There you go. All right. All's good. Yes. What happened next, my name is me discussing. I'm going to send it on to you. I'm going to send it on to you. You'll agenda. Because we'll have me, I need to have a meeting for that in the next. Just as a review. Okay. So we'll know after next Monday. So this is going to be a problem. Thanks for volunteering. Thanks for being a support. So we have the false church fitness challenge. Mayor Hardy, did you want to speak to this? Yes. So as I previewed last month, this is something I don't want to make, because it used to be the mayor's fitness challenge by the air that it over the past year or two. We used to be involved for people who did not know about a NA three jurisdiction challenge of fitness minutes across false church, Fairfax, City, and Vienna. Vienna Fairfax City dropped out this year year, but it's a reward that in late January, so we say, well, great, we'll take the opportunity to rebrand and do something because living up to our America's healthiest community, faculty that we got last summer, we'll be that wish to take advantage of it. So we, over the past several weeks ago, we've been taking the opportunity to rebrand it from the mayor's business challenge, which apparently had a fitness minutes tracking competition across three jurisdictions and turning it into a community fitness challenge. So in new logo and then new things that I'm happy to talk about. Next slide. So instead of running it as a six-rate-week program, we're proposing it to you in the month of April. And we're actually expanding both the membership of how you can get involved as well as what it means to be fit and well. So beyond physical fitness, thinking about mental health as well, and involving businesses and families. I think as the EDA developed their work plan and priorities for the year, I think I've heard who I'll talk about wanting to focus a lot more on supporting our small business community. We've done two successful restaurant weeks now, and so the thinking here is, can we copy and paste what we did from the social media and marketing perspective perspective and apply to other sectors of our small business community? So thinking that this spring will be kind of fitness and then this fall will be retail. So build up again, just the success of that. Instead of Minutes tracking we're proposing that we'll have a challenge board with various activities, which I'll show you shortly with prizes opened to everyone in, who lives here, or who works in the city or schools. And then the other right thing is, it's just really a nice collaboration opportunity across the Reckon Parks. It's traditionally a Reckon Parks program, but now bringing in the EDO, EDA, and the schools and hopefully the first, you know, future years of doing a community service challenge. Again, support both our businesses and encourage you to get out there, support your physical and mental health. Next. So that's kind of small, but you can see the assets are being developed right now. The big go board challenge board is imagine get it printed out and kind of card stock you can stick it up. You can do 10 or 12 things you get, maybe you can do anything you get a sticker. If you do the next, you might get some socks, you're proposing some little city socks. And then if you do more than that, you might get a duffle bag or worth the working at the details of whether we want to enter you in a raffle for some sort of grand prize. There's a new landing page that will be on the Visit Call Church website. So I know that the EAS won a lot of time last you're building our presence for the Chorzen website and so if you can like stand on that so you can go and think we have 48 fitness and wellness businesses to being able to go and see all the fitness and wellness businesses in one spot. That is all under development right now. Next. Because that site's not updated. So what we're proposing to do is bring back Trisha Barba, who is really great at our social media and our business marketing and involving the business creates kind of special offers and programs. This slide had maybe originally had four or five different things that we just made. No, not that one. Sorry, I worked on these slides. It been nightful, so I did not get in. But some examples, I know that there are various fitness businesses around the community that's going to offer some free programming. They pop up in the park, join this and get 25% off. But the idea is, you go back to the previous slide, please. Oh, previous, thank you. I'm sorry. The idea is, again, how do we bring more patrons to wellness and fitness businesses? so hopefully not just get out there and exercise but collaborate to opportunities for small businesses? Thanks. So what's under way right now? There's some teaser marketing going out right now. During the month of March, we're finalizing all the details of the challenge board. We'll announce the rebrand, reward or prizes, and then a lot more to come in terms of the social content and media stuff that Trisha is really good at. I think the request that you all preliminary talk about is how you would support kind of a second kind of marketing push for our small businesses. And I think the recommendation from staff is engaged Trisha again for $10,000 for help on the marketing and small visit promotion from. So I'll pause there. For input feedback, what do y'all think of this proposal for this spring? I think it's very good. Particularly to think about what falls church statistical area represents, which is what, two was 300,000. We could draw many of those people into our local businesses, and I think it's a way to wait. It's been great. I mean, we have a ton of organic press that we've gotten about, false church city being the healthiest community in the United States, and our focus on walkability, green space, the five path, all of the other green amenities that we have. But you can buy that and you think about our ability to leverage another week like this, like we do in the restaurant week, with all of that other press that we've gotten. I think it could be something pretty powerful. Could be made and didn't bring people with us. Exactly, exactly. This is part of the EDH harder to stimulate economic development between and within our business community. You need a couple more loans. No, I'm already searching some of the teasers coming soon. I've right Paul Sturks bidded out. Yeah, so I've started to see those and that people are asking what's the mean. Again, I'm coming out. So yeah, I think especially since we have been called the American status community, I think it's a great thing to pick them up. I just like that you're moving in from just the American community, that you're engaging businesses in the process as well. That was about like maybe we missed that opportunity for a while and everything grows and changes in some. We could just try to make a good drive out. That was a good opportunity to re-brand and re-shake it and make it a bigger and better which is like, you know, developing kids in schools and businesses. It was like, you could do yoga in the parks with the school mascots or, like, you know, some of the longest standing programs that were successful at school, like Operation Earthwatch is going on for 40 some years and still there and coming to our kids are still doing it and it's going to be the next. assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment of the assessment 50 miles a week right? I think fundraiser runs. Yeah, on crime? Yes, and then we're shut up too. Love it. Any other ideas? How can we get students engaged in something like this? I do it. Putting you in a movie, that's what it's like. Did you do a big year's challenge, like freshman sophomore and junior? Like each year, when we get to the most. Yeah, sure. We can talk to in my work. Nice. Well, we have these like, challenges. Could you like, go take them in the schools and share it? Yeah, we can play in them now. Some of their prizes, you know, are a little bit of socks. It ain't like, like, coffee or smoothies or something. For that is the right way. You get recognition. So, you know, run around the most at recess. And they have their class, yeah. Yeah, I met with the Health and Wellness Committee. Yeah. The school run boards, that's why the logo's on there. They're going to push it out to the BTAs, the principal, they'll be running announcement. So play really good collaboration again with businesses, the EDO and R&D products. Sarah Earl, the six-child girls on the run team, and there's boys on the run. There was boys running team and a girls team. Any time I'll look at businesses. I'll figure out what I'm going to do. A lot of kids run in that five-king race. We have. That's a good couple of this. Obviously, we've all seen the marketing and the free media. We got around our businesses and to the hope that it's for interest and we can try that out with our business and all of this. Yeah, okay. And obviously, all seen the marketing and the free media, probably got around our businesses and so the hope is that for interest and we can try that out with our business and all of this businesses, like that out too. So do you think that our small businesses is really what makes all sorts of pretty unique? Let me be 10,000 dollars that come from anything that's in the room with me. That's what we spent on a rush. We could just 10 days and get them at this as a month long and there's some build-ups to it. I know they're Becky and Sarah working on our... I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. for prime materials and obviously swag and things like that. But shall we trishes? Then was it amazing? Ross made an appearance for free. He sent his order. We don't pay Ross for our... I think I'll take it up to him and there's some cost for prime materials and obviously swag and things like that. But Jimmy Trish has been with me. Ross made an appearance for free. He's in his way and we don't pay Ross for our television and his videos and his social media. Will you come take a jazzle? There was a lot of spotlight for this. Oh definitely. You should definitely come take a jazzle size class. But only if I can dress like early 80s. I just said, or will lock it. Like, Richard Simmons. I got this short story on, I got a way. I will. I'm gonna have 80s, I'm like Richard Simmons. I got the shorts for you. I got the ring. I will. I will. I will be there. All right. Trisha will do the real ones. Yeah. Any of my comments? I'll make the most. Just a moment. Oh, we just want to clarify. We're shell are you on? Yep, I'm here. We have to figure in them. Hold on. Hold on. We're going to go back and bend here. Now, it's not going to operate. And just like I said, we will measure feedback and results. And for first year we're going't want to have a baseline, but we figured it's just good to see what people have been put in. If you get extra business, then jazz or size are others here. So Richelle, you just need to tell us where you are, what your remote location is, and if you're participating remotely due to personal or work reasons or some kind of illness or medical condition. I'm participating from Arlington, Virginia and I'm not in person because of some medical issues. So I want to make a motion. A group person. It's like the motion. We approve for participation. All right right, Michelle, you're good. Thank you. I have a 50% profit with the other. Oh, that's right. We do have to do it. She's been a long day. Sorry. Richie, all verimony. Ross. I was going to do Ross Ross looking down. Yes. Rysheal Baramani. Yes, I am Brian. Yeah. Good coil. Yes. Then you hear his. That's when... Yes. Sorry, when you're looking at the screen, it looks like you're looking at me. Yeah. You know, for that at? Yeah. It's been a long day. You know, come on. I know. It'll work happening. All right. I think we need a motion to approve. Yeah, we got to get back for that $10,000. Oh, that's right. Yeah. There we go. OK. We have a motion. I will happily make a motion. Yes. We spend up to $10,000 per consultant services on the 2025 poll stretch in this challenge. Second. Second. Second. Okay. You're a real cold. Yep. Russell, good now. Yes. We show bear money. Yes. Alan Grimell. Yes. In coil. Yes. Sandy here. Yes, Matt Whit. Yes. All right. Thank you all. So by the time you all meet April 1st, it will be underway. And I'm reminding you all what Matt said, I think, at your last meeting as he'd like to see all the team members more involved in promoting these things. So we'd love for you all to actually play a role in the business challenge too. Yes. Love that. I assume Trisha is getting around to pointing on connecting with businesses. business as well. Let's try to turn it on. Excellent. Perfect. Okay. All right. So EDA work plan. So we yesterday sent you out kind of summary of the draft work plan. It was distilled down from the input we received last month's V. We just wanted to double check and make sure everybody was still okay, which kind of word we ended up. We also sent you a more detailed document that showed where everybody voted, that they didn't want to participate in things. So this is kind of where it all is still down, and we'll continue to get you some cost estimates for things that are going to cost some money, like banners and holiday lighting. That's probably not something that you all are going to pay for, but expanded marketing, what we just did is part of that program. We've reached out already to some folks about the default professional services tax rate. So we'll keep chipping away at this, but we just wanted to give you all one last chance to kind of take a look at this and see if you agree with what's on the list. So one thing that I've talked to think with most of you about is that once we finalize this work plan, the expectation is that we have individuals on the EDA that will champion these particular work plan items, so I'll know. In the past, we've kind of had this kind of nebulous ownership over EDA, communicating through staff, but I want to have individuals assigned to each of these. And it's not to say that each of them is going to require consistent maintenance of effort on a daily basis. But for the ones that we can take ownership over, I would like for folks to raise their hands and offer to own that, make sure we keep the community all living. You're going to volunteer for one. Okay. Real quick, how do you want to do it? When do we, we're going to have this finalized by next meeting? Well, you're going to council. Right. Yeah, I'm just saying so that was going to be, so we wanted to kind of finalize this so you could... My hope was that this is our work plan and that tonight we would have some ownership, not that we have to fill out every single one of these. But if everyone's taking the opportunity to review this, it would be great. We could certainly have a motion to approve the plan and some points. Yes, we did. I'm red too. I think it's all the stuff we talk about. Any other comments, changes? I just make a suggestion. It would be helpful to just bucket them. Like if someone says what's your elevator speech on your top priorities, they say beautification and small businesses are poor, then working, I don't know. Like whatever, making easier new to do business and say, like, you can't talk to 14, I think, so like, what's your elevator, which one's most important to you all? And probably three things in reach, one, right? Yeah, we can do that. If I had a council member asking me today, that's a very question, I'm just going to read the word I got the council. Really? Yes. And also when we're asking today a very question, so I have summarized my mind. This is going to be a reward for I got the council. Really. Well, next month, we hope to have our relative in the course of any time already. Yeah. To kind of decide where you want to spend money and some of that's still shaking out into the budget. How much hotel tax on money we have accepted. So we'll do it. That warrant will for you. So, in terms of that bucketing, there's obviously a decent amount of marketing. Mine out about there, yep. And we can bucket marketing and sales differently. I'm not. Brian's not here, so I'd love to volunteer him for something. But if you cannot, happy to, because I've been through the ringer on this one too. On the CRM for the customer relationship management software, I'm just thinking I should have been through the ringer on that one. But when it started to top for the marketing, which involves social media, photography, or social media calendar, and fitness challenge. Does that speak to anyone? That was, I would just say admittedly was one that I pushed for which is more about physically marketing in the city but internally and externally. Do you say take ownership what does that actually mean? Meaning when we come back and talk about our work plan, individuals have an update because they have been active. Okay, I'm going to get some attention. I mean staff will obviously be working in the trenches on this on a daily basis, but I think it's important for individuals in the E.A. to be involved with staff and checking in and then staff knows if they need some input or they need some guidance. They've got a champion here in the E.A. and I just want folks actively involved in these to make sure that they have it. You get a couple that are engaging consultants. One bucket. Get number two. You get three. You get four. That's basically the axons of the staff. Development of those countries. Mm-hmm. Dots? Brots? Yes. I'd like to volunteer myself for the B poll, number. Mm-hmm. Thank you, Rochelle. Oh, yes. I'm happy to tackle. I'm happy to tackle Virginia Village number four. And I'm happy to tackle the business needs survey number 13. We're going to appeal Virginia Village all separately for a conversation here on the agenda map. That's fine. I don't want to assign that one yet. Thank you. I'm happy to help with the market for a month contracts. Okay. Sorry, we'll snob with that. Number one, thank you. I'm undervalued to your report five. But But then we'll talk about Virginia Village in a second. So let's just put a pen down for one minute. This is 250 anniversary committee of cheering. We've talked a lot about QR codes this morning. We want to work the staff so I can take that one. So part number five. Number five. Yeah. Number five. Okay. I'll get 10 Ross. Okay. Yeah. Seems like the more slash new banners kind of could go along. I can welcome to that as well. So which challenge are that? Sorry, sorry. You are right, Brie. I'd like to volunteer for 12 as well. I love the return of it so much. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Did you madam. Sorry miss that. I said four and 13 but we can work it out of the time. However, both. I just get my hearing lighting and banners with street street and 11 community parents. So 11, 8 and 6. 6. So Sandy wanted 1 and 8. No, I can die. I was just trying to help out. I can do 1. Oh, you're saying to take on all of the... I think if we had... I think I'll had eight volunteer, the 10, which ties into the banners. Could we, yeah, could we put eight and 10 together? Okay. So that worked. 11 should be with 10, too. Can we get, can we put all four of those together four of those to other people We put all four together and put two people on it Called hazing now and it's called hazing Well you have you have you have six you have eight you have 10 and 11 and you have two interested. So I mean, I don't know if it's a one person or two person gig. We absolutely put two people on these. Yeah. Yeah, it doesn't have to be a single individual. It's a special other. Also removing stops and understanding. So I know that we have on six, we just going to be the best amount of six? Um, six. Well, staff could do some of these. Number six runs. Yeah, this is by the way. I'm not going to say I'm going to go to staff about GIS information. So find out where the trees are on North and South of Washington. Let's see if we have enough trees close enough together to power. The power? Well that's true. On South Washington definitely are. So the mayor is taking 26. That's my project. What? He took six years to get the broads. Right. Is that everything? I'm not sure. About 07. We can talk about 7. This is... Man, it thing. Yeah. It is. I just really like to release those. You want to get your tractor out there and do it yourself. It's also better. I kind of stumped it with your wood. It was coming to the water. Yeah. That was really slow. I was 735. Yeah. The first one. So Becky, in terms of seven, the gateway meeting, let's just talk about like Cain's here to run step on toes. Is that one that staff should run because it's going to effectively be with DPW? I need to talk to Andy about that. I would agree that it's a DPW thing. And it's probably the bright view contractor who would need to do it. But that'll require a more nation. Here's what I would ask for, seven. If you guys can talk to DGRB about that. And if there is a, because part of what we've talked about, I say we, I've talked about, you guys can know, given the work plan that we have, which is less focused on big development, which is what we traditionally focused on in the past, this is like really getting that at like, street level and upon intended gym. Okay, okay. That's, if it may require us to operate to some extent almost like a bid on behalf of the city, where we fund some of these you've normally even seen a business improvement district, which number seven falls into that as well as lighting and some parking signage and things like that. But with that, it's gonna require more close coordination with DPW. But with that being said, if DPW does not have resources where the funding and city hall and staff are okay with EDA helping hate for that and coordinate that through outside contractors. I think that's certainly something that we can talk about. What I don't want to happen is we put some of this kind of street level bid related stuff on on their plate. And then if it comes to we don't have staff resources or money and so we just can't get done. And so if that does happen, I think you should come back to EPA and give us an opportunity to step up and offer it up to take care of that. Through, obviously, proper procurement allocation, I found some things like that. Just a quick question. Becky, does the DPW have a tree replacement framework? Is that in their budget person? I'm not 100% sure. We have the hotel tax fund that we typically take this money from and it's a question of do we have enough budget there now to do this I think we possibly do. We're getting ready to do the Power Poll flower pots and I need to get a better handle from finances whether or not we have the funds. I think that might be an easy one is what I'm saying. It's like there's money. I think there's a fund like that. It'd be easier for us to say, we'll give you an extra sentence of a picture of these locations. Yeah, so. And that'll be just what's dreadful. I think it's more than just the stump and the trees that are missing. Yes, one, one. Well, we'll get back with a, they're not getting on that. We'll talk about that. Especially contrasting with a brand new planting set, West Falls. Well, that's what it's going to. It was like the, I drove by there today. We'll get back with an update on that. Especially contrasting with a brand new plantings and West Falls. Well, that's a good point too. It was like that I drove by there today and like this looks great. Well, we have a gateway sign there, a beautiful gateway. And it's a shame that that whole medium doesn't look. We have some landscaping, there's some flowers, but we need to fix the rest of that medium. Sure. Can I check who we have against each number now then? I have number one, Sandy, kiss. Number two, a Rochelle. Number three, Ross. Number four, Matt. Number five, Jim Coil. Number six, letty. Number seven, we'll come back to you. Number eight, have Sandy. Number nine, I don't have anyone. Very good. I was supposed to work on our city business. I think that that was supposed to be our round table. I'm sure. Maybe after we did to add that to the survey and Ross if you and I want to add together. Let's put 9 and 13 together and put Ross in on it. Okay. And let's change 19 to business round table. I'm sorry. 19. You have five more I don't see. Hang on. Yeah, we actually have 63. Okay, so I have a 10. I have, um, I'm sorry, 11. And then, 11, I don't have anyone. Yeah, there's also Al's Oh, thank you. And then 12, Ross 13, Matt and 14, I don't remember. Well, that's probably not. 14 was not. That was supposed to be pulled from us. Yeah, and we're probably going to talk about this next month. I'm sure we have had some discussions about this, even as early as hour ago. So thank you very much. Okay, that was great. I'm really good. I'm going to go to the world. So, yep, I got you. So we're, thank you. Let's talk about- Can we distribute those electronically so everyone knows that we signed up for? Yep. So regarding Virginia Village, I had a meeting with Wyatt and Lenny and Debbie just to talk about next steps for that, I believe everyone's aware, we're not working with Wesley Housing on that master redevelopment right now. And we are working to through an RFP to look for the management of the city and the properties. And there's also been discussion as part of that about the E.G.A. funds that have been contributed to help secure those additional properties. When I go in front of Council next week, again talking about this kind of bid mindset, typically business improvement districts are funded through taxes on businesses that are in the bid. We're not doing that, which means that some of this funding for things related to lighting and streetscape and greening and the city, all the things we're talking about have to come from somewhere. We are fairly limited on funds right now. We've only got about $150,000 at our disposal. And really the only few recurring revenue streams coming into EDA to be able to take care of things like this come from our trends of occupancy tax, which is a tax on the average daily rates that are paid at the hotel, as well as some of our industrial bonding authority, industrial bonds that are securing tax analyst building. But we do have a still considerable amount of money that's sitting out there. They were unspent for the public, which is about $400,000. And then we've got about another $600,000 generally at our disposal. And so, in working with that group, we've been talking about funding mechanism that gets some of our money back that wasn't spent on the parklets and we can use to fund some of this and then also figuring out a return on the money that's still into Virginia Village. So this Virginia Village redevelopment, the reason I said, I wanted to put a pin in that is because there's still some things need to be worked out in terms of what that looks like. There's still some fact-finding that has to be done some conversations that need to take place within city staff and some external parties. So as soon as we've got a better line of sight on on that, we can talk about what that working group would look like for next steps on whatever the plan is. So I know that that's a lot, again, it has to do with funding, which has been committed by EIA. It also has to do with next steps in terms of what the vision for Virginia Village is, but all of that is preceded by our need to make sure that those properties are managed properly for the time being. So nothing to do on that yet, but there will be a place for EDA at the table until we know exactly what that plan is. I don't think it makes sense for us to ask somebody to sign up for something with that. No idea. And you have current knowledge of all that, which would be an answer to. Yeah, but I, but at some point I understand we have other staff. Yeah, we spent a considerable amount of time, how many years ago was that? Three years ago, working on this in OU with Wesley and coming up with a work plan for Virginia Village. And so now that is having to be revisiting. So as soon as we have more information we'll know. And then do we have on the agenda tonight talking about presentation and Council next week? No, you've heard of Ross Bell's attorney? Oh, there he is. So let me just go ahead and hit on that since I've mentioned it before. I'll be. You need to take a load on the work plan. You're going to make the presentation. So yeah, that's fine. Right? Back. We need a prep for. I was going to go back to that. That's fine. Well, I'll make the motion. We approve the work plan. plan has presented. Okay give a second. Yeah. It preferable. I was going to go back to that this one. Should we make the motion? We approve the word plan is. Okay. Give a second. Second. All right. But to leading 14. To leading 14 to direct use. I'm going to have that motion as presented by a 14. And the reason is because that's not something that is an action item for ADA. I don't believe it's technically on. It's not documented. It's not just agenda. It's my requirement. The question is to see where it goes, but counsel before you guys spend money. Yes. With an appraiser or consultant on that land. I don't want to. You all the way to money. We still have some threshold issues to work through. A Ross-Lyster House? Yes. Michelle Bermani? Yes. Alan Braggman? Jim Coil? Yes. Cindy Kieres? Yes. All right. Thank you all. Excellent. So just real quick on 10A. Guess that has to do with this work plan. I'll be presenting the work plan to council on March 10th, the next Monday. You all are welcome to attend. So you're ready to do it. Because we've got some punishment. We'll go here. I've missed that. You all can jump in. Part of what I'm going to be asking council for specifically is for the return of the unspent the unspent parklet money so we can put it to work on these specific work plan items. I don't see any of this right now in the first two quarters of 2025 eating up all of that money but I think a lot of it could be embargoed towards much of these expenditures once we've obviously got estimates whether it's the holiday, lighting, the CRM, software purchase. If there's some contribution from the EDA to remove sounds for place trees and signs and things like that. But the idea is to say we would like this money in here as wide here's what we're going to use it for. Can you talk just a super high level about the CRM. It's going to be an EDA CRM versus a C-A-C-RM. Not an EDA CRM. No, an EDA CRM. Yeah, it's CRM. So if anyone has worked in sales and marketing, you can turn it around. Their software is like HubSpot, which basically allow us to identify businesses who are the main points of, and of course this is all, this is called their approval. This is not spamming people. What allows us to track interactions, if we've sent emails out and we've had some interaction with them, if they have joined us for an event, if they have reached out, we can track that information. And so when we do institute, some type of initiative, whether it's getting people on board for a business round table, or even simple things like reaching them for a survey, asking them to opt in. This will allow us to track, which are effectively our customers, which are the businesses. And right now, we do not have a consolidated system to say, hey, we'd like to reach out to the 50 fitness wellness and health businesses in the city. How do we reach them? Who is it we're talking to and what's the best point of contact? So our CRM system would allow us to do that and it's very purpose-built. Not terribly expensive, but something that I think is necessary when we talk about getting a little bit more ground level in the leads with our businesses. Is that how it's going to be? I'm very, yeah, I set up the predatory share. I just want to know who owns the CRM? Who's going to be doing the data entry? And that would be who the EDO like keeping it updated because the CRM is only as good as the latest data. As soon as you know he's keeping up with it, it's It's not where I'm at these times. And so the way that I looked at it. Yeah, so any kind of marketing, your drip campaigns, email campaigns, any kind of contact or as we look to build contact, should be documented in there. And then also harvesting the information from Trish. as she's doing these various weeks, and when she is, it's gonna require folks to get out there and meet with the businesses, we can't just collect this information from public sources, but as information's being collected and there are interactions that gets documented. But before we go out and investigate which software, it's gonna have to be a discussion with staff in terms of who's gonna own that, but it does need to sit inside of you, you know, by opinion. Sarah. Degree. Yeah. In the spirit of what he suggested, I got four buckets of suggestions. We got marketing strategies, affordable housing, community appearance, business survey and investment. Okay. I like those buttons. Is this something? See the work he does again? Marketing strategies affordable housing, community appearance and business survey and investment. I might say, yeah, I might just expand on to be business development and marketing strategy. Yeah, that's sweet. Do you have any other comments from folks? I think that's not so. I'm linking back to Council Work Plan, Debbie, I've been pushing for two years now on kind of improving the permitting process, which I know the EDA will have an interest in. And so it doesn't need to be on your flight because it's something that Gubbop's taking up, but in the spirit of like usually private business and government's already mine, right? The faster business can open the better business the better it is for government. And so we've gotten, you know, most generally good feedback about how culture it's an easier place to do business in an open shop, but you can always do better. And you'd like to see more of that automated self-service, and be more transparent. And so that's when we met, govops and council, that's pushing on in our work plan. Is there a way to find a tie-in with permitting into that CRM system? Suppose you're coming in to open up new businesses that got to do build out. Yeah, obviously. I really am. He is hyzen with you paying tax threat. You opened your business, making an interaction with Becky, looking for space, and then you eventually find space, you get a permit, you open, and then you can have the same interaction, they're saying like, at point of entry for paying your taxes, and doing all the other services we need. That would be the ideal world where if you're really customer friendly. So previously the EDO had worked out with the Commissioner Remedio where they would check a box and we would get access to their email where we were facilitating all of those and just where she's originally and that somehow slipped away. I guess during the pandemic, but so getting that option back, working with them to have that happen again seems not sure that they would to, like, take on the extra work of getting to learn. The new CRM or stuff like that, but getting them to include them. So you can just get a CSV, import that into all the CRMs, take them to the file format, so you're going to have to do anything extra other than, it's like, you know, when you've registered kids for school, like you've opted to be, I want to get the money out, I want to get that and do the same thing in businesses, which is what we used to do. So yeah, so I think that there's two steps here. One, you know, what is an acceptable CRM for the use of talking about it, too, is what gets done in the weeks of like operationally, how do we utilize that and create processes to make sure that we get the most out of it and then we're not losing information. So that's a great point. One of the reasons we actually talked about Sierra and came up with a V to probably six months ago, which was, can we just go to Commissioner Revan who's Office of New Contact Information because it's open and the answer is no. So the second question was, well, who holds that information? And it's like, well, some people have a spreadsheet, some people have in their head, some of it's on their phones, but we don't have a centralized way for us to go and reach out to folks for a lot of the things that we would like to do to bring businesses together. And so that's a really, really hard thing to accomplish without some type of centralized system. So just putting number three up there is really just kind of like the first inning in the baseball game, the rest of it, like the meat and potatoes are. How do we use this? And what do we implement in terms of government operations? To be able to capture that information. So all those things, yes, there, that like one little change could make a big difference. But that's exactly the time we've been through for you so we need to capture. Okay, excellent. Anybody wants to update on the Mustang passports? Yes. There are 32, 26, 5 minutes left another. What were they playing? New kit. Oh, well, thank you. Thank you. Give me a post. Thank you. All right, so. Moving on. Moving on. Okay, recovered Virginia Village. So question, Ross, do you know what time the city council will be presenting to the city council? Probably close to the beginning of the agenda is part of 745. If anybody would like a copy, just let us know that it's a humongous document. We can create a link and send it to you. Which document? The Rosts Committee Council. The Rosts Committee Council. Oh. The Power Point. Yes. I tend to be the Rosts. Please be great. Thank you. You probably know this, but I guess the bar for me, and I'm guessing other members of So if you're asking for buddy obviously show us the plan but also show us the results and you can accomplish Start some horror live The bar for me and I'm guessing other members of council if you're asking from buddy obviously show us the plan But also show us the results and you Thank you when you expect to have that power point was sent to you once I mean after tonight. Oh You need to be able to send out the link of our website. Yeah, it's not hard to do. Great. So, fostered for a week, Patricia and I have been working on a summary report, I think I could report explaining everything that happened and the ROI. I pulled out just a few things to highlight with you guys. You can still have draft format, but once it's completed, we can send you guys the full report to get all the in-depth details. But currently, here's just a recap of our major media hits. And then all of our social media, we were able to survey a lot of the restaurant week users and I mean, sorry, guests and figure out how to they learn to go restaurant week. And obviously it's working to our advantage because social media was the highest percentage of how they were hearing about the event. And social media platforms, if you guys use platforms? Facebook and Instagram. Facebook is just dead in the water. It's Instagram that gets all the energy. So then obviously the science that the restaurants are putting up and then word of mouth and then just printed broadcast stuff. So to that. Sorry, Sarah. But broadcast media that we have, do we have an idea of how much of that was driven to social media and then picked up there? Or is it that the private broadcast media people going direct to those sources? That's a good question. Well, the question was asked, is this wasn't drawn by data code from the social media? Is it something that was more social? Yes social data. Exactly. They'd specify if they saw. This was their option. Oh, link on. Okay. So then when you're looking at all that information, you pull together all the website traffic that we had compared to last year. Obviously it was a little bit lower, but you can understand that when you take a look at all of the media hits, that WTOP interview and article that came at the beginning of the restaurant we last year, garnered $5,000 visits to the website. So that was a really big win for us. That didn't happen this year. That's not to say we didn't have some big wins. We knew that was probably going to be a possibility. So we focused a lot of our after-console, social media. Why was that that they didn't do that? We just, there was, they didn't do that. They didn't do that. They didn't do that. There was a lot of other things, but I'm the name of the second thing they could have. The attention. That's obvious. I don't know how possible you've ever known., socially, it did really well. We had huge growth and engagements. Our metrics show that we gained 721 new followers within just about three weeks, two weeks, compared to last year. That's incredible gain. And then into the sales and survey results from the restaurant self-requording, they said compared to their sales last year, how well did they do? 7% was unsure, 15% said their sales were slightly down, compared to a restaurant meet last year. 15% said similar sales and then 61% said higher sales than this year than last year and anecdotally that's what we were hearing from them as well so that's wonderful to hear that they surveyed that I think as well. And then the second question being would you participate rest drop rate again obviously yes and then they were also asked if they enjoyed doing Astralum once or twice. And they can like them, came back saying winter and summer would be ideal. Who would be willing to participate in both? Interesting. Then put together final report. Yeah, I'll see you guys a lot of our end up information. And you guys will get here report. And then if there's any follow up info, you guys need to get this report together. Yep, that's great. Thanks, Eric. Sure. All right, two things. So Ann goes to great. I know last year we talked about the online commission around new data and meals tax. In a year of a year, are we still planning on doing that? Um, it's possible. So I would love that answer to be yes. Whenever I ask that question, I'm full of the outcomes in three months, three months whenever they report their package. There's a lot. There's a lot. Well, I'm okay waiting till, yeah. Okay, we'll continue that. I'll continue that. I'll continue that. I think we made it clear last year that we really wanted that information so can you be able to push that subject with, hopefully, broader results. And then the other thing I would suggest is to go back to the previous two slides that show things for 2020, 24, 25, 25. I think showing it over time is helpful for both traffic as well as followers. This slide 28, I think, was your social media follow? It's great to start crafting it over time so you can see like your restaurant week big bump hopefully for this challenge another big bump I'm aware you get engaged but actually start trying to get over time so we know that the programs you're doing is actually leading to extra engagement and an extra physical traffic and you know ultimately driving into the city. Sure after I can do that. Pull that up. Show it over time. Now that we're trying to think of these as recurring in this, and I think at the end of the year, having several events over the year, I think that's more better way for presenting the information than just my chart. Maybe I could show the free 23, 24, every five. Like so, 23, like a reflap liner or a lot of the reason. because it was so flat and then you can see you know Call was big bump and then Update on the parklets naming city council did make some decisions on what to name the two new parklets You can see them there kind. Cadillator is for El Plaza and Civic Triangle. And so now we need to move on to getting signage for the parks. We were hoping for some feedback on what you would like the signs to look like. The examples that you see in this line, sign would be complimentary to the way-finding signs that are out there now. They're not inexpensive signs. So we have some steps to go through before we order the signs and have them installed. One is we need to decide design. We need to decide kind of who's going to staff the effort. It could be a combination of EDO and DPW. They have contracts with signage folks. We might ride a contract. We might ride a contract with Fairfax County. Probably be helpful to have them involved. We need to get some cost estimates. We may have to do an RFP. We need to figure out how to fund them. And then finally, we would order the signs and have them installed. So we just have some steps to get through to get those signs ordered. But we're making the progress. So those are the names? Yes. And we talked about this. I'm not sure how this ties in, but it happens to be Christina Goodman's birthday today. Oh, I know. And I know that's'm adding another sign to for behind the roar house, the reflection garden, to have it be similarly signed so that it is all cohesive and tied into that. So I don't know if it's just an important more than a little box and some memorial meditation space. I think we're seeing this memory and she was the chair of the Royal House. And that's something that the Royal House would post with Pank or or. Well I don't know we just we had council talked about the naming and ensuring that and we ensure that the Royal House crew that we would just make sure that this signage was included and it would be they shall together because they're gonna be at the same. But I don't think triangle area and we wouldn't even want it that big. Yeah. Just being coordination what they would like to see in the first game. I don't know if any of you were the one down in South and they have a rear trail closet. They actually added, I didn't know this was going in there, a stone surface with big holders behind like a gathering place. That's Christy, it doesn't have moral garden. Oh, okay. And Aurora House did pay for that, right? That's private to me. I'm sorry, that's the other side of the house. There's a dedication in me from another date. I might have an account. You have an idea based on what we did for Browns Park in terms of how long this process will take. I really don't know. I can tell you, those two signs were approximately $10,000 each. City Council paid for two historic tenor Hill signs. And then those two. Brown's Park was part of the way planning project. Identification sign. So city else. No, we paid for the dinner hill sign. Yeah, the two pay you for the parking signs. Right. If I may a couple of things here, it would be. It would be really nice if we could make sure in the future when we design parks that we include sign include signage in our design and our cost estimates. Secondly, I don't think we should spend any time on design and staffing so much as higher the people that we spent a ton of time on a few years ago to do our wayfinding signs. Frazier folks. Yeah, I mean, we've already done on this work. Why are we going to do it again? And then I think we can fight about who's going to pay for it. Well that's a good point because the sizing but the signs is important and the architect folks like Frazier can tell us all that, you know, to finish on where they're going to be located and how much information you want to put on the signs. We could go back to them and you know get an estimate from them as to what size it should be. Yep. Our group. We know what the design is going to be. We know what the name is going to be. Right. We have a spec. We have a lot of time. And I came in on the tail end of that. And it was still a lot of time. So let's sort of the signs that we've already done. So let's make sure in the future we get them and it would have been really nice to include it in the art prepons that built the parks. Let's make sure in the future we get them and it would have been really nice to include it in the art prepons that built the parks. Let's make sure in the future we do that and then let's move on and figure out how they're going to pay for them. I'll reach out to them and see if we can kind of get this going. But now that we have names, you know what we can do? We've got the specs, we've got the signs, we've got the names. Yeah, it shouldn't be that hard. I should be able to move it pretty quickly. Yeah, it is. Yeah, it is. Yeah, it seems like if we've got the specs and got the signs and the names. Yeah, it shouldn't be that hard. I should be able to move it pretty quickly. Yeah, it's nice to actually rip and cut the parts of the screen. That's a good point. I think we could get it done by equal use. A first. Probably depends on how much capacity DPW can. Because I mean, it's just not that we're at it first doing the work, it's just we don't have a lot of background. All these things. So is DPW would be responsible? Well, I'm just wondering if they could help us with finding a contractor to do it. They have contractors who do various things. And then they can just get an estimate from them. They don't have to bid it out. I'm not quite sure how we do all that. We haven't had that conversation. But I'll put it in that. Who did the last one? Well, they were't have to bid it out. I'm not quite sure how we do all that. We haven't had that conversation, but I'll look at that. Who did the last signs? Well, they were part of this ginormous, way-minded sign project of the end of which was 60 signs. And this consultant identified the locations and got us the specs. I mean, they did a significant amount of work. I have been in terms of this, it's a little bit redesign. But in terms of the manufacturing, did that? Well, it was a company we weren't entirely happy with. It was called Bright Light in the North Carolina. So that's another issue. We did reach out to the Genshin of a conversation with the Mr. Leder, not they would consider doing one of our projects. Well, most of the specs can't fall cat files, something like that. We do. Just find another manufacturer. Yeah, you just find another manufacturer. That's like that. I need to get with P-D-W. Try S-E. There you go. Sam, I mean, on top of that, does mental work in his, you know, crotch. Those are the intricate signs. I do agree, though. I think it would be great if we could rip and cut this before summer. Yeah, we'll try to suit the blue figure out. You're done with this. So, um, and Harpy, um, so you want to talk about your efforts on the, oh, yeah. So I just wanted to close the loop with everyone and let them know that this is the final version of the downtown parking map for the City of Falls Church and it may just seem like a regular map, but a lot of work went into it. So each parking garage and parking area is linked on the website and in this PDF, but in doing so a lot of the places had incorrect addresses with Google Maps, and I had to establish a new location and name it and send in maps, coordinates, to Google to incorporate it in the city. So a lot of the parking areas weren't being registered to them. So I think that will affect a lot of reporting that comes from them in the future, which is great. So I think that this exercise was extremely successful and this is the end result that we can share with people. I'm still have the whole back free to get them back for whatever, but at this point, this is the parking map in the city of Elstrich. There are other places where we can post that very QR code where it makes sense. I don't want to like trash up every sign. We're fresh. We're refreshing all the sandwich boards. We did talk about that. But I was thinking we should post it every year. It's almost the count. And right now social media campaign of this as well well. Well right now we have those sales boards currently near Kaiser. Yeah. And that's actually so, that's helpful that people know about Kaiser. But by the time you get there, you know Kaiser's there. We're actually looking for parking in, like say, closer to City Hall, and you don't know good at Kaiser. Unless you see it right, so you see people circling the community center parking lot for the farmers market. They don't know the size unless you put the sign there. So think about where people are circling and looking for parking and get them this information rather than put them. to meet center park on from the farmers market. They don't know the size unless you put the signs there. So think about where people are circling and looking for parking and get them this information rather than put the sandwich towards that little bit of the location of the park. Yeah, I also, we talked about, I think, it makes sense to think strategically about putting this in the gateways of the city. And if you think about natural stopping points before you're turning in to getting to parking, you're sitting in a stoplight, or you may be passing by, you have a chance to snap it, or take a look. I don't know what that answer is, but I feel like we had four strategically placed in them somewhere before again, before people get into town. Is there a way to get that QR code on some of the signs where we have parking this way? Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I think it's like a mile label or something. Does it work? That's a car picture in the car. So you can snap picture where it says parking sign, then you can pull it up. I see a little portion of that pass. Yeah, yeah. This is great could you could you guys Come back to us with some ideas on where we can put this outside of just a digital environment And there may not be an answer that makes sense. I don't know. I'm saying it's a good point People driving down with the arm stick on We're off so I'll have to be good if we can. Don't be good if we had sandbags. If we're making changes to sandwich signs on some way to get some weight so they don't blow down and. Look back. Well, on time they were filled with sand but it's been many years since they've been out there. So I think they probably they all need to be replaced there and just repair some of mergers. Can we add that to our list? Our list for our work plan. In terms of... It's on there, just some extent. I think it's a little bit that close. Yeah, let's have a look at how much board specifically. Okay. I guess I have the minimum while you sort out, do you want the gateway? I was observing and hearing where people's parking challenges are. It's when they come to the Farmers Market and then when they come to restaurants. Those are the top two reasons I think people come into town these days. So think about where you're in concentration of restaurants and farmers market and how they strategically place some sandwich boards there. And then we can work out gateway stuff. I also think you want something at West Falls development around the new high school as we continue to build up our economic development there. You know, if you're leaving that little quad, where are you going next? If you're leaving the high school pathfalking, you want to go dinner, not right there. You want to go to Ellyburg because it's a top restaurant in New York Times, where you park. I think that is also another good location to have that. My other suggestion is get this all your downtown businesses. These are the ones based on all the consultants we've gotten about parking. The parking sharing is always the child who getting applied to her property owners to share their parking. And so just get this in the hands of the restaurants and your small businesses in the first four hundred blocks of broad screen in the organic. It's like hand them out and then they can make copies or make copies for them. You put a lot of window. On the window you can make lambated things that people that people can put displayed all the windows. You did a really nice job, Sarah. We should just get it everywhere. Yeah. Very great. And someday they'll tie into the smart city's data that you can then tie into parking garages in a few years that could be live. Most of the restaurants have a little website. You can put this up with a website. Yeah, I did point it. So my two was an image of it. I can just put on the opposite. Here we have EV charging under the city hall. Because I saw you that I can't. I'm pleased. You're a city giant. You're a city giant. Founders row as one. But I don't see him on this. Because that's not, I can only put city-owned EV charging, but I have a map I can share with you that has, yeah, I placed this. That's another thing that I see people do is that as, you know, whether you use something in your drive, but people look for destinations where they can charge for a car for an hour. Yeah. They want to eat or shop. You can publish that somewhere and you're like, hey, are you a driver? You're looking for a place to charge here in places in the city of Washington. I totally agree. I'm a little math. Yeah, they want to eat or shop and we can publish that somewhere. Like, hey, are you a driver? You're looking for a place to charge here. The place is in the city of Falls Church. I totally agree. I made a little math. I did that to this webpage on the city and on the city of Falls Church. But we don't have a time. So, Sarah, why can't we have the private lunch on the net pizza? A lot of them aren't within that context. A lot of them are further out by the giant and by Eden Center. Oh, oh, this is just outside of the map. Yeah, I'm in the middle of the map. But yeah, having another map where I linked to where it was all I would be. Traffic reading. Yeah. Good work. And this is something we have been working on. It's not quite done, but it's very close. This is the Kaiser Public Parking Agreement. We're getting ready to include an amendment to it. Believe it or not, it's been almost ten years since the original agreement started. Why it has kind of approved this, it's not bad. Kaiser has to go up their food chain and get some signatures, but they're extending it until 2030 or another five years. They've asked us to do a couple of things. Now they want us to pick up trash on the top two levels. They want us to try to manage overnight parking so people don't park there too long. We're going to have to work on some signage issues because we've had people parked on the top two floors to get in the elevator. The Pfizer is closed, they'll put down the elevator, get into the Pfizer building and it's locked. So the police have had a lot of calls from people who have locked in that elevator. So we're just working out some things. But we're going to continue to get week nights and weekends. So that's all good news. That's great. Yeah. So hopefully we'll have an announcement on that pretty soon. That's been a piece crossed in the AIS dot. I don't think that we talked about it before Broadwash and then we were worried about whether people would use it. The development over two, the construction for two years really started changing behavior. They will now know we use it. It seems like a regular thing now. So to me, people spend the effort over the broad Washington garage. I don't know how to go really say that. Well it's a great bath. You go out for a breakdown. It's great. Yeah, and they really, they tell us the top two floors, but they really don't care. I mean, I've never known them. They can park anywhere in that I think it's 574 people off on that garage. And real quickly, because I know it's been a long day, just a quick cruise west to east on new projects. West Falls. Just to let you know, the music is now open and this Institute for Esmenology and the Medical Builds in the tour is beam, I haven't heard. Now you reached out to me, you did, if I get something else, just think that we just threw a tour open to the city. Oh, like to see the streets? Okay. No. I'm like there. My daughter takes chillows. I could be the one. The tour is, it's a bunch of, it's a bunch of private rooms. That's, I mean, she's twerking. Did you do a concert first bowl with Aaron? Just say, well, no quartet, but let's just be sensitive. Oh, my daughter, now she needs to be sensitive to the performances. But you can see we're waiting for some plans from fresh market in the Thai place, building permits, and activities going on, and all these other places. Ice cream, Jubilee, I'm told, has a sign, right, Naomi? Yes. Yeah, yeah. So they're making progress. I do. I do. I have to go down to the next page. This is Founders 2. I drop by. The place where I play our under review and the type place there is also under review. And I'm sorry. I just walked through the West Falls project in school or I don't know. I drive so I don't know. There's like, I'm an astronaut. And they're starting to do pre-leasing for the apartments and they have a nice new website. Founders one, not a lot of new news there. I think we mentioned the little takes and creamery is coming in. Fish Taco, Ellie Birds, expanding, tiger dumplings, kind of over here. The theater should be opening in early May. Just over here, so we're excited about that. Just let the April, which is to say what's going be, what we're trying to tie to a blockbuster and April was gonna be the, oh my gosh. Yeah, like a world building. No, like, what? You sound like a bookie. There was a blockbuster building. No, it's a, you know, when you city build, it's like money, Minecraft, but they're turning into turning into a new mini-mod. All right, I just want to know, it was coming on Ben. So they were only open ties to a blockbuster. OK, well, that makes sense. Ecanises on the mayor's corner. They're on Spring Street. They go to the Planning Commission tomorrow night with their revised plans. Just to kind of give everybody an idea of what this looks like. Let's kind of talk before. I'm the top floor. What is going on? All the people that work on the top floor park are going to be gone. Parking in public street, what do they do? It didn't really make it clear. So we're going to have to ask them to work on it. they're planning to do with this. It's made of input. I mean, not that it becomes you all because it's site plan, but I think generally your stance in the EDA has been, if there's commercial development being proposed, parking should not be a thing that pulls it back. Similar to God for you, it's successful because we gave them some flexibility in parking. And it's driving successful. Has it been pushed back? from folks on this business party? A little part extra parking is that there's some discussion and planning to just about legislation trying off the top floor. One person. What you're familiar with at the top floor is... I would hope you don't discourage property owner from not building extra floor commercial parking concerns. I think think there is an advertising, right, as medical, which has the higher requirements and just what they're about to do there. Systemers, which is just a camp and showroom. The site plan can kind of specify the uses, and if they change the use of something, it can be more parking and too intensive. And's good. I think site plan we both get into the group. That's a pure commercial development. Residential. Correct. Why would you turn away an external floor that now because it's a matter of what you see on their maintenance. Right people. The entire first floor is a showroom. Yeah, now I'm sure, by itself, it's on. It's the ideal experience basically. One worker and two people browsing in campus. But Maddwell obviously went to the hospital or the end of the day. Yeah, but the usual parade of people driving. Just being driving the doctor. I just wonder if it's the same medical. This is our city, but we say medical, yeah, isn't it? It's the vitamin B12. And it's medical. Two questions. They are. They can bring that to all the way. Right. Right. Right. We're going to just, you know, I'm University of Georgia. Getting ready to hear that, getting ready to hear what I'm trying to do with two opens from Ellison, West, etc. Presidents here in the want. So I'm parking and so forth and so on. It's the people on the springs here, willing to do that. to our parking and so forth and so on. So people on the springs here, willing to do that, then you can have to our parking service the building now. I have to get some signs of the noise. I think that's the end of the track and then they will have to have more. So, the man who got up and took some great pictures of what we waited for for a very long time. It's a garden. It's a garden. It's a garden. The garden, that I went to this week. What do I want to post? On the screen, the Stafford Garden Devolution got off to a little bit of a rough start. They got a stopboard quarter slapped on them. They got resolved quickly. They got resolved quickly. And that we took care of that asbestos. So anyway, that's underway. And that's bringing it down the way. Actually, just a quick question. They have plans for what the buildings will look like. Yeah. Yeah. I guess I should go on this slide. Yeah, it's got a pretty generous outdoor coverage. I pretty generous outdoor cover battery. I mean, the solid of the remaining do- I just like can find it beyond the size I think we have. And the corner piece that they can't wear on Carcane is, it's got this way out of the scrum. It's like this kind of cool, like a French border type design by it to it. It works really well. It's gonna be great. The lighting and the box. It's gonna be a lot of good interred rooms. No, I shouldn't have said that. Yeah, it's not. It's not. It's a to be great. The lighting and the box. It's not a lot of good interventions. It's not good. It's not good. It's a great use for their corners. It's going to be good. Little Falls Cafe across the street. Not a lot. New to mention the building permits been issued. So you'll start to see some activity there. Made land they'll probably talk about next month. They have no new hearing schedule because we have this property boundary issue with them that we just need to get clarified. You all may be asked to pay for a new survey in Title Docs. I don't know what Mara was saying. It may not be a good idea. We're talking to the city attorney about all this. The Quinn project. Man, I believe you have the OSI plan work session of our night. Or did that get pushed off? That's all it plays out. I think it was. I moved to March 19th. March 19th. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm in that. Okay, so, Rod and Washington, as everybody else, Whole Foods is open, Creative Cauldrons open, the little beasts that restaurant their plans are going to review in that last space there. They're just in very preliminary stages and discussions with the new tenant. Ian Center Papa, the pizza can be the last one closest to the lot in the's it going to be from? Create quality. I'm not sure. Good question. You brought in? I thought it was the one that was closest to Washington, because I remember their conceptual appliance that space was designed for restaurant. That was the first one. Yeah, there were questions. I was just curious what Shandid was going in Because if it's going in between Creative College and Whole Foods, then we have the consolidated retail all the way through there and then we have one of the end together. The Creative College looks a lot a little beast which is a restaurant. You guys probably heard of it? No. It looks really interesting. Pretty fun. It's an exciting, beautiful, fun job. I'm going to have to do some research. Okay, guys are up. There you go. I just like that since the worst goes on. So I'm going to get back to how the pizza is. The Eden Center, how about this trick? They have some health department issues. They're working through, they're getting close. These are just some miscellaneous updates. I'll give you a preview here. This is Bol America being painted. It's graffiti. I know. So it's gonna be called Lucky Strike. Not the Lara. I feel so. Yeah, this was kind of a surprise to us, but let's give you a preview I thought they were cigarettes They've got some revisions in Paris baguette. They've got some revisions in L bar 3 former Yogi underground CO issue Real Marxists they're moving right along. They're making the open base. There is. And they have that outdoor space right between the local comics. They have mezzanine space. They have a lot of outdoor space. They have a full sense of it. It is. Oh yeah, that's right. I think a lot of them. Galeria, Flourist is going into the former Killing and Custer. They have a CEO. Yeah. And grocery outlets opening in 26 because they're coordinating with some other Virginia store openings. So you've said this week with those. You've been in the office for the last one year. It's on good. Go back one point if you would mind. I think it was. Yeah. It's very well said. Hey, and that was a quick. I'm sorry. Can you do that for quick? Sure. One more part of the line. Yeah. Oh, it's a gallery for us and that's a group in the. I think I've a new owner. That's what they did. Yeah. I think he started to another business and I think that was really good. Yeah, well that's a good floral spot. It is. That building will soon be closed. That will be next. We've reached other member issues. Since we had a lot of fun celebrating creative projects, new news, what is happening with their old space, if anything, or do you know? It's listed in Coast Star. I think it marked it right. We went we negotiated. We asked the listed for like six months as an art space. Can we force that? No, that, well, no one we negotiated. I think that was letting Matt Lee's architect firm in. I thought we said that we had to have them marketed and reduce rate to not profits for X amount of time. Maybe they wanted to get that check. Oh, okay, yeah, this is so familiar. I'll check. revise the SCs in some way as they're to make sure we're holding them. Yep, that and to the extent we're able to bring it out profit. It's probably too expensive. There's no graphics these days. Yeah, triple net space or cost. We're pretty hot. Anything else that anyone wants us to check on or insert or have any space like space, I can make it. Well, and then this is just kind of a tribute to our fearless leader that we are going to miss tremendously. Jim's last day is Friday, so if you've not had an opportunity to kind of shake his hand and wish him well, that would be great. We really appreciate your money that EDA allowed us to use for his reception. We give it all in-house planning staff, building safety, and our office as well. We're going to be able to loss for a while. But he does promise he's going to come visit. I'm sure I won't't be surprised but that we see him tuning in virtually. With our meetings. That can be additional, say thank you to you guys. Oh, you're welcome. Well, this is a whole perception to have today. I mean, Jim is really a maybe select the best boss. I think anybody in the seated team would say they've ever had. I mean, that's how strong felt about it. Just a true leader. We will miss him and we're checking into this ULI event that's coming up to see if there's any chance we could wrangle some tickets. But he would like to go. How much? We want to be 85. Yeah, they're not inexpensive. So that's, I think, in May, right? Good. Yeah. So that we've got a little bit of time. But again, thank you for allowing us to give them a good farewell. So sure. It was. It was nice. Thank you all for coming. And he enjoyed his framed print of Mr. Brown's mural. Oh, good. Yeah, I wasn't sure if everybody saw it. I was at, yeah, no, I think he gave Jim Kats. Yes, they're all the arrangements. Picture of the mural up there at Mr. Brown's bar, which he was responsible for. He was. That artist, you can say. He left. He left. He left. He left. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was. He was presentation, the City Council coming up on Monday. Brown's hardware and their castles also been a consider this proclamation on Brown's. Are they coming? I know that's a good question. It's organized. The book is part of the proclamation. No, I must be at the left. It's on our agenda. It's closed. Sorry, I parking location. No, I, Jeff must be, I got the left. It was on our agenda. I suppose. Sorry, I see him. What's your line? In town. Can we just check them? Yeah. Make sure somebody's doing it. What was all of them scheduled? It was. She's made it somebody that invited them. So the Browns Hardware celebration, or even the Jack Bolivia Jeff races, is often court day, along with a few others. And it's not sponsored by the city, it's not sponsored by the EDA. But if anyone individually wants to contribute 10, 15 bucks to pay for food, you can talk with Olivia and... Does anyone else just live here? Olivia. Just a Olivia. Her name is the Long Live, Jeffers. Yeah, with Karma yoga. So you can find her, speak there, if you wanted to contribute with. She and I are text about whether people would want to buy a t-shirt. She's proposing it. Do you like two member dead browns t- grounds t-shirts so that could help offset some of the cost of the celebration. Pulling the two people to buy a t-shirt for 40 bucks. Yeah. My other hat sold there when they announced their current after baseball had sold down. They actually ordered more to get more people coming in by the rest of it. I would do it. I think we could use the same. They saw after popularity. Can you use the logo from the hat? Yeah. It's pretty wonderful. I didn't have a chance to round up with my commercial broker, but to see if they have a date set for settlement, so I'm a property. So once I find I find that, I can let you all know. And what's going to happen there? Yeah, well, that's all still under wraps. Is it going to be unwrap by the time we first were getting that? I'm going to check. So would you could? Something could get unwrap. Yeah. Yeah. We would. Yeah. I'll check. So it's not a way out. It was all still on track. And it's what I was, what we've been told earlier. So trying to get some creative things where people could have something. Because I meant to, it's not just, I don't even know what people know. What is it that they're supposed to be contributing to? What's coming? Is it like somebody else? Yes. The process will be a lot of people on the group, but by and properly, and they're going to share this. Yeah, she's such an expert. We're going to make a lot of rounds and not so much the photo. Yeah. That'd be great. I have two people for that. So we just want to try to approach the staff. The staff. The agents, the results, the people. I'm not sure that he's yet done deal yet. But it's very close. I mean, I think a lot of cash has been exchanged. All right, so we get EDM meeting, first chamber, Commerce Gala, people, third. We did send in the EDA's accessory dwelling letter of support. Yeah, I saw it. So, they did result in the addressing issue, which was one of our peanuts. Yeah, that looked awesome. It looked awesome. That's it. Mustangs 1, 5145. Wow. So how did you make your own? We were making your own. Yeah. What's your name? 5145, it's like a 5145 that I'm crying. It's a championship game. Yeah, that would be that. This was the quarter final. It was the semi-smile. They're playing a team and it was a 6-11 and it was 6-8. Yeah, there it is. Okay, yeah, there's a lot of suppliers up here for the grounds for separation here. What up? I make a motion. Jim, you were right. You're a boil makes a motion. You're a jerk. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Second. Thanks all. Thanks apples, bad. Thanks for showing up. All right. Thanks everybody. Thanks all. Thanks to Apple's bed. Thanks for showing us how it is. Thanks everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. Thanks to everybody. I'm sure it's your turn round. My turn round. It's okay to just follow what I'm saying. I'll just run up the mountain. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm going to go to the next room. I'm not bad.
