First of all, I want to say as an honor and a privilege to do what I do. The honor is being led by everybody who's sitting up here on the dice. The privilege is to serve the community with volunteers. So tonight we're going to call up just a few of the great people who volunteer in this city who gives back so everybody can be recognized. We'll have my coworker, Ms. Kerry Mahario, a couple of spills and we're going to fight everybody up. Our first award is going to be for our volunteer team of the year, which is our Dixie West Neighborhood Association. This year, they have associated actively engaged in our local businesses to contribute to a restoration of one of the city's most iconic landmarks, which is our Pioneer House. Mr. Tim Smith has been instrumental in leading the efforts to revitalize the house and enhance its charm. This year, they have exceeded $100,000 of restoration toward the project as well as volunteer hours. So please come on up, Tim Smith from the Dixie West Association. Next we have our volunteer business of the year. This fiscal year, UFI, had approximately 2771 volunteer hours logged by nearly 200 volunteers who contributed to gardening, local food production and environmental stewardship. UFI hosted seven volunteer events across Oakland Park and Browell County County, notably for Earth Day over 50 participants who created 130 oyster ropes in collaboration with poor Everleads. Please come on up, Urban Farming Institute. next we have our youth volunteer the year dill and bell was an exceptional asset to the parks and leisure services team contributing an impressive 240 volunteer hours and support of our summer camp program throughout the season and played a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the kids consistently going above and beyond to create a positive volunteer hours and support of our summer camp program. Please welcome Dylan Bell. And last, we do have our volunteer the year with 237 volunteer hours. As a dedicated coach to our many programs, Tamir Stumpter has become a cornerstone of youth sports, coaching basketball, flag football, baseball and soccer. Her passion, exceptional skill and a waiver in commitment to children ages 4 to 7 has left an undeniable mark on our community. Tamidra is inclusive and heartful approach not only inspires her teams but creates a positive and uplifting atmosphere that extends far beyond the field or court. Welcome Tamidra, Sumfdern. And last, we also want to recognize our great commission that's just right beside our personal leisure team. The City of Elkhun Park commissioners exemplify the spirit and community by dictating their time and energy to volunteer initiatives. Their efforts go beyond policy making, reflecting a deep commitment to the well-being of residents they serve through their selfless actions. They inspire others to contribute fostering a culture of unity and shared responsibility. Thank you our commission.
