Declaration of the State of emergency staff report. Mayor and council yesterday afternoon, I signed a declaration of state of emergency for the city following suit to the state as well as pollution county. I'd like to read pursuance section eight, four of our code, the city manager acting city manager in his absence as the power to declare a state of local emergency and our civil emergency activating the emergency management plan applicable to the city when he or she finds it necessary to protect the lies and property of citizens of the city and to provide continued operation of essential services provided by the city. A state of emergency declared by the city manager will determinate after 48 hours unless the state of emergency is affirmed by the city council prior to the expiration of the 48 hours. So I'm asking for affirmation of that declaration. Thank you, saying no citizens present. Council comments? Glad we're getting ahead of it. Glad we're doing this. Yes. Mayor DePueh. Yes. Councilwoman Gillis. Yes. Councilwoman Bennington. Yes. Councilwoman Gillis. Yes. Councilwoman Bennington. Yes. Councilwoman Dalbo. Yes. Councilman Powers. Yes. Okay. We are. Mr. Mayor, I have one matter real quickly. Glenn Storch reached out to me and to let me know that his client, the Miami Corporation, is willing to donate three days of their equipment and personnel to help clean and maintain city ditches at the city's specific direction. And they have a mini excavator, a motor grater, a skid steer and dump truck that they used to maintain ditches on their property that could be used. They would just need the city to let them know where to work and the specifics of what to do. They would need written, released and indemnification from the city before starting. They've also spoken to two other contractors who have also agreed to donate three days of similar equipment and manpower. So I would recommend at this point that the city council authorized our interim city manager to sign release and indemnification agreements for volunteers to help with the storm. Absolutely. That's fantastic. We're doing an emotion. Yeah, emotion. I'll make a motion that we have to raise the city manager to sign the releases and all necessary to get the volunteers. Roll call. Anybody else wants to do that? That is watching this. Please reach out to Jeff. I'm sure we will accept thing that's really important. I think that's the only thing that's really important. I think that's the only thing that's really important. I think that's the only thing that are currently out with back trucks and and and assisting in helping. They are at the direction of the city staff right. Oh yeah. Just do it and they're not they're not they're in contact with the environment. Can we do the vote real quick? Thank you Mayor DePio. Yes. I got some more addresses too and there is people. So there's people there. Rob is still filling sandbags and then as well as Jessica Jessie who's over at the other location and they're taking names and addresses of some of the elderly people that have come in who haven't been able to do it so they can get dropped off of you. Well I got three calls sitting right here that were the voicemail and the high school students were helping from 330 to 6pm It's three trucks come on to you to help load and deliver so they'll have a lot of work. Very good. All right. I do have one other thing. I would ask that we postpone the workshops on Monday to a later date. If that will be okay. I agree with that. I don't have a room. So there was a four o'clock in the sick clock. We'd like to postpone those to each of the days. Sounds good. I think we're all done out of Pennsylvania. We need a breather. A little bread. Okay, we're in charge. Thank you.
