We have a new business shortly but first we'll visit the minutes. I ask the commission if they've had a chance to review the minutes from our January meeting and I'll entertain a motion to or additions or corrections and if not I'll entertain a motion to approve those minutes. So moved. Second. Moving second at all in favor signify by saying aye. Motion passes. The morning mayor. Morning. Um,, this morning. So that we've got two items of business before I turn it over to Dennis. I assume you want me to run that and I'm going to solicit Jim's help because he's over better and open and up envelopes. Our first one is, uh, what batch happened to rail corridor sale and we, uh, will open at this time we received one bid, one offer. One offer. Excuse me. I made that distinction and I go to one offer. You get those big ones. the the the the the And, will submit that for future consideration. Yeah, take a motion in second to take a motion. Okay. The board needs to entertain a motion to approve the acceptance of this offer. And not the acceptance of proceeding, but of accepting this. 800 advisement, yes. For being under advice. So, seconded. Seconded. On favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. The motion has passed. Our second one is to open and consider bids for the Main Street Phase 6. I have a stack of envelopes here. I'm going to ask them to help me with them and I'll record that information if you would. Okay. Keep working. Yeah. First one's right away. Yeah. And the first one is a bit proposal from Reese Riley with hopes I can find a number pretty quickly. I'm not sure if I can get a I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going to go to the next one. I'm going might want to check the pages again the the We just have. I'll start the next. Well, let's make sure there wasn't an alternate. Three million, 58,069 dollars. Yes, it's. There are some alternates that bring to our consultant. Alternate number one, $5,428. Alternate number two, $23,850. Alternate number three, $41,750. We'll read the base bid. Base bid was, base bid was two million,987,041. Plus the three alternates for a total of $3,58,069. Keep those together, I'll just put it back here. Okay, thanks for your patience. The second bed is from Morphe Construction Inc. And we will search for that number. Okay. base, $2,674. $2,674. For the 502.65, alternate number one, $16,000, alternate number two, $27,000, alternate number three, $45,000. base two when he's $7,000 alternate number three forty five thousand dollars base bid and alternative total two million 762 502 I believe that 69 What's it from? You need it again We'll get it to you. Base bid 2 million 674 500 $2.63. You got the base bids or the alternates? Yes. bill, 2.760,.60. The third bid is from milestone contractors. Let's go find it. I'll slow down on this one. Base bid, $253,000. All in at $1,4,000. All in at $2,000. $4,000, $2,000. Alternate $1,4,000. Alternate $2,000, $10,000. Alternate $3,000, $20,000. Grant or base bid, let's alternate $2,587,000. Got Yeah, those are the notes Mr. Chair and the final one The bitter is William Charles. William Charles construction company. We have a base bit of $2 million, $383,000, an alternate one of $7,500, an alternate two of twelve thousand dollars, alternate three of forty nine thousand five hundred dollars, grand total Two million four hundred and fifty two thousand dollars. I Soon those are all the bids and that we have sufficiently Introduce those and they'll be put into consideration Mr chair and and then we vote on okay, okay Mr. Chao entertain that yes, I would move that we accept the bids for street, street skate phrase six and take them on the advisement. Second. Moved and seconded all in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. Motion has been approved. Thank you. And thank you all for your patience on that. That's I'm going to get better at that in time. I'm a little rusty right now. So we've cleared half of our agenda and I'll turn it over to Dennis to introduce the next two parts of our agenda. Our next item of business, Atlas excavating is Parkies Boulevard, change order number five. It's new sanitary basis for structures. This is new sanitary storm structures and bases due to the shifting alignment of the bore pit. The shift of the pit is to give Atlas additional room for excavation and installation. This is requested to do the death of the sanitary ground conditions and the proximity of the bore pit to the right away. The amount of the change order is $1,901.56. So this will change the contract, the original contract with the current change order is $21 million, $474,157.27. So with this change order, the new contract amount would be $21 million, $476,058. cents and we're asking for your approval. So, discussions about this. If there's no questions, I'd like to make a motion that we approve the change order number five with that, that's for me. Second. In move to the seconded, we'll move to vote all in favor of this. Signify by saying aye. Motion carries. Dennis. And then the next time is with Corrin Clark, Lafayette City Hall renovations contract amendment number one. We actually approved this the last month but we realized there was actually a math error in it. So we wanted to bring it back to you to make the correct revisions to it. The change order itself is the same, the same amount of $21,000. But the original, the contract amount to start with before the change order should be $296,085.10. So with this change order of $21,000, that will bring the new contract to $317,085.10. So against just a revision because of the math error that we found from last month. So asking for your approval. Questions for Dennis or anyone? And if not, I'll entertain the motion. I move approval of contract amendment number one for court and clerk for the Lafayette City Hall of Innovations. Second. Moving seconded all in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. The motion to approve. Okay. We accept that. Directors of the report, if you're ready to go. So, sure, and I'm going to turn it over to our, our owner's breath for the Lafayette Theater to give you an update on that, so I'll bring her you're ready to go. Sure, and I'm going to turn it over to our, our owner's rep for the Lafayette Theater to give you an update on that. So I'll bring her up and she can give us an update. Thank you. Let me get some of those. Good morning, Mary Krupinski with JS Helds. You're on a rep for the Lafayette Theater. There are a range of efforts progressing on that project. so I'll give you some highlights of that. Most recently we had the roof composition tested. range of efforts progressing on that project so I'll give you some highlights of that. Most recently we had the roof composition tested to confirm that there is no material up there that needs remediation, no asbestos, etc. So that's good news on the budget and the team. As we move forward, we will be bringing you request for remediation as well as salvaging of equipment before we get to the construction component of the project. So just to give you a little preview with that. The design team led by Cordingen Clark is meeting regularly every two weeks. Highlight is that they most recently just finished a 25% construction documents set. So we are going through that, but that is in very good shape from other sets that I've seen at that mark. Some of the other highlights is that the theater consultant, Sher Shook, was in town this week to work with the design team. Jointley, the entire design team, including representatives from LongPak, as well as civic theater, took a field trip to visit Hendrix Live in Hendrix County for a new facility that had been completed there. We got some tips on a few items there that I think will help guide us, particularly in regards to stage flooring, durability of materials, seating arrangements, control booths. So it was just a really great eyes on example. The concessions is going to be handled very similarly to how we are handling our concessions. So it was very valuable for the team to have conversations around that as well as those examples ahead of us. Then earlier in the month we have been meeting with seating consultants so that those components can get vetted out very well. Those layouts are in progress and tomorrow we're having a technology meeting. As I said, the design team is 25% through the construction documents. They plan to wrap up construction documents around May 16th with Bids following approximately a month after that in June and then the cattle hut, the construction manager as constructor will be back in front of you in July for looking at the GMP figure that will then be able to initiate construction later in July. Any questions regarding anything else going on at the theater? If you drive by just so you know because we are looking at adding electronic signage, we are reviewing the team is reviewing the structure of the canopy. So the underneath side is open right now for viewing. So the structural engineer can confirm that we've got the right amount of structure there to carry that new electronic signage. So that's what you can see from the outside. If no questions, thank you for your information and we'll be anxious to see that project progress. Yeah. Same with City Hall. Dennis, do you have more than thank you very much? That's all I had today. Bless you. Okay. So, before public comment, let's do the claims. We've all had a chance to review the claims or their questions or any information with that you would like to ascertain. And if not, I'll accept a. Or you generally put that in the form of the motion. If there's no questions, I'd like to make a motion that we approve that claims totally in $2,057,599.41 today, February 27, 2025. Second. Moved to the second seconded all in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. claims are approved. I'm asking now for any public comment. Mayor Clerk bosses of the city. Anything to share? Thank you both for attending. Anything from the audience? If not, I'll entertain a motion for adjournment. Move the adjournment. Second. Move the second, did. This meeting is adjourned. Thanks for coming.
