David, Twanda. staff Kelly is here and Stewart is here. Would anybody like to say the prayer? Twanda, would you like to say the prayer? Thank you. We're working on not to get up to God as if he made me sit in to God as if it is and We look out for the system. Visitors and citizens for non-consideration and possible action. Discuss bid received for Matt Neal and College Street rehab project review the project engineers award recommendation I'm going to go to the next room. So, what do you need this? I'm going to do this. Yeah, it's $27.00. Yeah, he said recommended additional contingency fund. Yeah, it's $27.00. He said, recommend that additional contingency fund. What's the contingency fund? I'm not sure, and he says total recognition. Yeah, get him on the phone. Please. I'm sorry. We're ready for a call. I'm a senate root Hi Luke, this is Kelly with the city of Angerum along with the mayor and city council members Yeah, how are you? Oh good are you okay good things so I think there are some questions about your recommendation your letter of award recommendation The the total recommended cash reserve for the city is $192,000 I thought it was a hundred and 42 or whatever 162 Hunter them up with. 162. 163,000. Hunter. Move that to my foot. It is. I threw that the extra just for a small contingency, you know, in case something comes up. We're not planning on. You know, the street project is probably not likely. But we always like to have a little bit there just in case. Okay, now the question I had about aqua was what what happens if they stick the tractor in the ground and their water lines right there? What happens then? They need to move their water line or? Well, you know, like I said in the letter, it's probably going to be worth some time to pothole that line to see exactly how deep it is. The guy that I met thought it was maybe two feet deep. He was really not sure at all. I don't think he's ever seen that line uncovered, so. I want to show you. I'm not sure how that's usually handled with water lines in town if we have to contact Aqua directly or how we do that. Okay so who pays for the water line if it's not where it says it is? Well, they have valves have valves so they're gonna know pretty well where it is. I'd have it's usually in the contract in the specifications where we show that the contractors responsible for locating and protecting all utilities. So you know if they tear something up it it's going to be on them. So. Yeah, but he's saying that he wants $800 to remove each one of those. Yeah, it's line item. Yeah, what's our? He wants $800 for the city to pay for to remove what it needs. It needs a meter. And the contractor that I mentioned, it's only, you know, if they completely disregard where the line is and they just tear it up, then they're responsible for fixing it. But if it's located and they know where it is, you know, they're not going to dig that deep. So that's what kind of way we kind of need to plan ahead a little bit. I have to raise them anyhow to bring them up or put them behind the curb. Can you support them? They're going to either have to move them or put them behind the curb. All right, they're not going to leave them on the middle road. For the meter boxes, yes. So some of those will have to be relocated. So. So is that part of the $28000 dollars that you're talking about? That would probably go towards part of that, yes. Or was that the contractor? No, that would be the city's cost on the meter. So we're going to have to options on here. I like turned one of them on. Okay. Luke, these two options. I'll appear to have that money. I'll turn to one of them on. I don't think you're here. OK. Luke, on these two options, the difference is that lines 14 through 15 are not included. I mean, 14 through 25 are not included in the second bid. That's correct. So for college for three that's the ones 14 to 26. Okay, so that's the second road. So you're saying that if we take the alternate bid that college would not be done at all? Right. Yeah. If the city takes the deducts and up in the option number one. So I subtract out the 209908 in your contract award for just a Neil Street is the 353-79750. And then we end up with a budget, you know, contingency budget of $46,000. So there's no extra cash that the city would probably need to think about preserving for the project. But we would also only get one straight and not two. That's correct. Thank you. So I'm going to have to come up with a hundred. We'd have to come up with a hundred and ninety two, a hundred and ninety three thousand. Just go ahead and do both straights. I got at least 163. So to do both straights. I don't see that we're going to have a problem with that because we budgeted a hundred thousand for roads and then we don't have full staffing in the police department. I mean, hopefully we will in the future, but we don't currently. So I would think that we would have some monies available. And it won't all come out at once. It'll come out over the project. Yep. We've got it. Yeah, we got got it. And it needs to be fixed. We have it. Well, I think we'll fix right. I think the biggest thing is that we have to contact Aqua Texas and get that straightened out before we begin construction. Well, like you said, he said it's the contractor. As long as the contractor does it, yeah. Correct. Luke. Say it, say that again. As long as they don't, if they ripped the line out of the ground and if it's two inches deep and they didn't even try to look forward, it's the contractor's fault, right? Right. They need to locate and protect the utilities. But with the current we have in the on the Nielstreet, I think we're going to want to find out ahead of time whether we need to look at taking that out if the lines really shallow or not so right well maybe they'll be willing to fast track as he says in his letter the replacement of that line. Since we're going to have it open and they won't have to pay for paving. It should be a benefit to awkward to do it that way. That'll be a big problem. Okay, so we just vote on this, Luke. Is that what? Yeah, I guess if on, you know, how they want to award it either both streets or just just McNeil street and then How we need to proceed with with getting you know that existing one on McNeil located So we know whether what we need to do at the curb and gutter on that street I'm ready to get it good. Yeah. Okay. Any more questions? I'm ready. Any questions? Any questions? I'm ready to vote on that. Okay. Yeah. All right. Need a motion to accept the what is it loop option to option which is the full contract to to do the full contract the full contract option one is the full no no option one only includes make Neil option two is the bow. That's why option two and do both streets. And then we'll deal with the contingency and the, and the other with the city, the extra. Okay. Which is how much? 563, 7.05. Yeah, we just a little more in the wind. Need a second. Robert's second, all in favor? Aye. Aye. Okay, Luke. Okay. Do you want me to try and contact Aqua about getting that line part over or how do we want to handle that? That's your deal, I guess. I don't know. Okay. Okay. I'll give Jessica again and see. Or the contractor's job. I mean, he's in charge of it and he's one got to deal. Yeah. Isn't that the contractor? Are you? Well, I mean, it's. You're almost seeing it, aren't you, Luke? No, I am. I am. It's just that I want to know how deep it is so that we can get a change order done to take the curb out if we have to, if it's really shallow. And our preference would be that Aqel-Well go ahead and do the replacement and they can avoid their paving costs. Okay. And I'll see if I can get in contact with some manager at Aqel-Taxis to see if they would be interested in replacing the line. Why would we get the street too. Right. That way. If they don't do it, they'll pay for it themselves if they rip it back up. We're not going to pay for it. Okay. All right. Thank you, Luke. Thank you. Bye. All right. Okay. I don put them out. Okay. Consideration possible action regarding option for the existing waterline. I'll make no street as a related street rehab project. We just did that, right? Yep. Okay. Staff reports. Thank you. Here's the staff. You got any reporting? I's a push ahead. How we got John, a helper, hopefully? Yes, Albert started 10 days ago and then Dustin started today. So, soon as they can get it up, I've got a house on the floor and a room for it. and a bayonet should be able to keep the it up like that. House on Cooper, and I got a house on the corner. I couldn't work there. I was in an evasion. We've been able to decently let her bad, you know, with the bottom of the house. So, we have a few things to do. I've got to follow up with Robert Horowitz, who's purchasing the property to a board in the loop. That's where Jack had that bird out house for so long and I spoke with Robert and he said they were going to be closer today and as soon as they closed he was going to have those or there he's been cleaned that bottle so I need to follow that. So everything's awesome. Pretty good. It's 10 more than you got rid of all that wooden junk cars so we're making it like it. All right as as permitted by law adjourn. Yes, sir. I think you should give him this. That looks page. That first page. Which one? This one? This that it looks yes, looks page that first page Yes College We need to call it. Okay. You agree with the contract? Yes, we're approving 100 for the 500 degrees. Yes. We have a world we're only going to have to come up with $192,000 on the field of the whole project. We have a grant for the other. The right and the capital. We have 500,000 in the field of the world. We've got to come up, the engineer took the 100 of it. So we got $400,000 to play with. So we got $400,000 to play with. So we got $193,000 to finish off the contract. I guess giving that was the bid, huh? Yes, and I have to actually have that. And they might, we might take out the curb, the curb, the concrete curb, which is 40. The curb, the curb, the end there. Well, if the water line, that's what he just said. It depends on where the water lines are. They have to move. They need to move behind the curve. I would agree, but I don't know how much. Move behind the curve. And that's on the contractor. He should have did that and come in and hit the... Well, that's kind of where I look at the dude. Because that what, it floods all those houses. That's it. All right. Absolutely. I mean, we'll figure out. We might have to figure out with Aqua. We might have a little. We might build up the lines. Yeah, up in the air. Would they go down there? We're going to get it hashed out. We're going to have to go to hash. We're going to have to prove it. Okay, well, I'll give my best. The waterline information is here. He says, I think we have a couple options for McNeil Street. This is all awkward. We got a is here. He says I think we have a couple options for McNeil Street. This is all aqua. We got a prudent of those in grants and everything else. Yeah, we had to approve it. So we're going to want to lose our grant. We did. We did. Yeah. And the grant is through the department of Texas Department of Agriculture And it was in the paper previously because it's been a year since we got that correct Just took a long time coming.
