So we have a consent calendar to approve and we made a recommendation in the past that if we don't we have a quorum we can just approve because you know ours is not a ordinance making but rather recommend a in regards to presenting it to the council. So there are four dates. First is November 21st, 2024. January 16th, 2025, February 20th, 2025, April 16th, 2025. And the April meeting really was somewhat not official because we didn't have a quorum at the time when we began. And so, can I get a motion to approve of of no changes? Before we get into committee I'd like to have Mr. John Dominguez kind of share his background a little bit and the reason for wanting to be a part of the CPC meeting. Okay. Yes. For the last 16 years I worked for the Honeyt Library Botanical Gardens as a security training officer and a lot of the events that I was in charge with. Basically, I do with emergencies in training personnel and staff, 400 staff members, what to do in case of emergency. And it's all related to what the EPC is doing. My workplace was 210 acres, which is a smaller version of La Haber Heights, but involved basically the same thing knowing where to go, knowing where your resources were at, what was available, what roads were available, because it was a pretty big place to be at workplace. So also in 2019, 2020, it was part of the EPC and work got going to hectic so I ended up quitting the EPC to concentrate on work. Then eventually I retired and I started helping out city hall and fire department and EPC in different projects and I'm strung involved with that. And that's that have been going on for about a year and three months now. And I thought well, I think it's time to actually be a member. It'll give me a little bit more of a voice and input into what's going on. And just have you to participate and hopefully improve the emergency plans that we have and plans that we have and making the residents aware of what's what's available. So I guess that's it. Okay, so with your current work that you have been doing with the zones and also part of the fire watch, it would be okay for us to put you as a committee lead for coordinating communication with fire watch folks and maybe the liaison to connect us to become and work together more effectively rather than as two separate bodies. and then maybe they can work through you and present updates as to what they're doing so that we don't overlap but really work together and trying to get things done for our emergency preparedness committee. Is that okay? That's perfect, because I forgot to mention I'm also a fire watch member. Okay. Remember for a few months. And yes, that's what I was planning to propose in myself. Okay, so fire watch and I would say the other component would be you've been a key initiator of our quarterly cleanup. So maybe also coordinate the quarterly cleanup aspect of incordinating that would be great. Now that you are part of the EPC. Yep, I've been doing that too. Okay, thank you. All right, so committee reports, grants and articles. On the grants that's been slow going, I know our former mayor and councilman, Carol Engelhart did follow up with me. She said while they had been working on pressing items like the housing element, we would get back to grants. So we need to continue that conversation. In terms of the stories, I'm still in touch with the editor Dan over the Heights life. I know he's been running a lot of Cal Fire material and Fire Prevention messages by Mayor Pispiza. I'm not sure if you saw the May issue for example. Also nice art. and fire prevention messages by Mayor Pispiza. I'm not sure if you saw the May issue, for example. Also a nice article in welcoming Fire Marshal Ryan Dorgensen. I did see that was great. I, he had sent through a story that a Lohabrahite's resident wrote. It's David Nolte about fire prevention and he detailed his personal account of the work he's been doing on his property. Dan ran that by the EPC and fire department to make sure everything that's included in the story and all of recommendations are things that the fire department would recommend. It's a great story. I'm sure that will be running. I don't know if it's coming here in this next June issue. And then I had been in touch with John here about the volunteer program and the work that he's been doing with the volunteer program and making sure we develop a story for Height's life and that can also include a reminder about Albert's cert program and other you know zones and other volunteer opportunities which are on the list for all of the volunteer opportunities that that John is putting together. So yeah, that's everything. Any questions? None? We'll go on to the Zone Neighborhood Emergency List. Ms. Kelly? So I'm starting something new after our discussion that we needed to figure out a way to engage in the different neighborhoods. And so starting Saturday, June 14th at my house every month on a second, it's going to be called second Saturday food swap. I have a huge tree that has huge tree in my front yard that'll always be shaded so we can do it through the summer months. So the neighbors and I agreed that starting that day I'll set up from 830 to 9 and then from 9 to 1130 people are invited to bring any of any foods that they have raised on their property, including like honey nuts. We have wine makers that can't sell their wine, but they can trade it for other food items. Also, some of the neighbors said, can we just do baked goods and can we swap those every month, which would be fantastic. So that's probably going to be of the biggest things. So starting Saturday, June 14th, for the next eight months at my house on the second Saturday, we will have a food swap, no money, just bring some food, trade some food, and the neighbors are already talking about bringing their chairs, I'll supply coffee and lemonade from my tree. So maybe we can use that as a vehicle to get information out and then do a checklist as to what emergency products that they may need or if there's any oxygen needed, generators needed and so forth. Maybe compare it to checklist and then keep notes so we can keep that into our YGSA plan. Yeah, absolutely. That's a great, great idea. I'll have the forms and I think the neighbors will see, but they seem more enthusiastic about this than anything else we've thought of. I thought of so. We'll see. Okay. Well, thank you. Some of the workshops that I've been thinking is possibly work with now we had the Decid of our county of Los Angeles come into a presentation and then also locally The Red Cross also has a emergency preparedness Program and like to invite them maybe as our possible next topic because again, emergency is not just limited to wildfires. We are seeing more frequent activity and earthquakes that are happening more frequently here locally. And those are things also we need to look at. Wind events is another. We got to keep an eye on because really our weather pattern is changing. As we saw, our Santa Ana winds came much later, too much later than normal, which typically will be October, November or Wind events, but it happened in January. So, things are changing and we need to stay in front of that, especially with our community. I believe the three city mayors of Woodier, LaHabra, and LaHabra Heights had a helicopter ride and viewed the brush exposure that we have and they all agreed there needs to be something done about it because in the event that does go up and it poses a significant danger. I will coordinate with our Red Cross contact and see if we can set up a date. And that would be probably I'm hoping it would be July. It would be a good time as our second anniversary to our statewide USA program. So as we continue to do that, other than that, it was kind of nice to see at the last cleanup event even though we didn't have it because a sudden rain event that happened that prevented us from getting on the road were three new volunteers showed up from the city. So we're getting out there. The effort that Mr. Dominguez is doing is great. And so that needs to kind of multiply. And on that day was love your city event throughout the nation. La Habra had their own and they identified a senior citizen who was not able to clean up her home for many, many years. So we invited a nonprofit organizations that come out and we trimmed our trees, cut the branches, removed toxic and whatever debris that needed to remove because it was a fuel source and the city supplied a 40 yard two of those containers that we were able to fill. So that's something that I like to kind of plan ahead for 2026 for our city and make it a love La Habra Heights event and we'll get some sponsors, we'll get some shirts made so that we can utilize that shirt to kind of further advertise the effort that we wanna do in regards to that. So keep an eye for that. And the best thing is getting the community together work a couple hours, clean it up. If the city needs the park cleaned up or any of the city property need to be cleaned up, that could be a target that we can do. We can use church groups also to come and assist. And then high school volunteers could also be a good component for their volunteer hours also. So that definitely will work on that. Other than that, any questions? If none, I think just says a final comment. We are coming to a two year portion of our approval. We now have about a year and a half to get our three year plan updated. So to be from January 2027. So we've got to get start working on it. And I will coordinate with both Fire Marshal and Chief to see what other things that we can incorporate that may have changed in the last two and a half three years since we began this project. And make sure that we stay ahead of the game rather than react to what's happening. So that's it. Mr. Rampson, any updates from your category? Okay, Mr. Riegel-Montz? Okay, sir. I haven't been able to participate in a couple of events that were out there. There was something that was established last week that I missed. I will announce that the Fire Department and County continues to update their search training that's available in the area. I believe there's one that's coming up in El Mane and another of these social status analysts. I just saw one today that's going to be at the Norwalk City Hall and it starts on June to 6th. So if anyone's interested, either give me a call or take a look at the Norwalk City Hall website, they have the listing up there and information on how to register for that three day event. It's a week in advance with Friday's Heritage and Sunday. Also, I'm starting to get some bulletins around some virtual workshops that are taking place through the FEMA organizations or organization. There's one that's taking place next, what's May 21st. It's called Shelter at Home. It's a continuing education around from CERT. They're starting to do some of these to kind of help augment some of the training that you would get in a class. So it's virtual. I believe it's like an hour and a two hour session where they kind of cover these topics. I'll try to give myself signed up for this and something I just saw this morning. It was going through my emails. And then the other thing is I've been working to train, connect with some of the other area, cert teams, getting the most cooperation from the Lomarata cert team. And we've been able to participate in some of their sessions. And I'm just talking to Patty about some examples of things that they have shared with me that they can do at some of our community events as far as helping to educate some of the concepts that are provided through cert. The use of the fire extinguisher is an example. Other things to do, other reminders, just quick things to kind of help. One, raise the awareness that folks need to be mindful of and also kind of make it more engaging. So we'll try and see what we can do to take some of the material and turn that into something we can use for the concerts in the park. The other thing you're talking with Lomerado, they also have, well they have material but they also are giving me information on how to pull down or grab some pre-creative material, printed material that we can also use. Again, no cost. Some of that's available through FEMA. So I I just looked at the FEMA site this morning, and it is back up and available. So I'm going to start to pull some out of information that might be of use for some of the events that we're doing. And that's it. Oh, the only other thing I was thinking about doing is I will start to put together some terms about newsletter. I'll train kind of format this. So the information I just shared here will be something that I could share and as I get notifications around training or other things like that, I'll try and put that in there. I don't know that monthly is the right time, but I'll figure it out and just start to put something out there so that we get the folks that have signed up engaged and aware of what's going on. And then I guess the last thing is maybe after the meeting we can talk around with the fire department of trying to see if we can do in one of our events to put together a search training or a search exercise for the folks that have signed up within the Habra Heights. Just to make sure that we're engaged and we know who they are and see what else we can do to kind of support the team that's starting to come together. Okay, thank you for that. Just to update, we didn't touch it it but our quarterly cleanup was postponed to coming May 24th at 6.45 am is the gathering time here at the City Community Center City Hall and It'll be about a two-hour project north and south of Hossayna road and then duringth of july fire watch to prevent any potential fire exposure from fireworks and then other things that we can look at is the concerts in the park to distribute information as we did in the last you know last couple years to set up a booth distribute information get community get community signups. It's not a very effective venue, but at least if we can get five or six people during all those concerts, it'd be great because people are there to listen to music and enjoy their evening. So if they combine visit, at least we'll continue to push forth our agenda. I did want to kind of circle back to the sir, Mr. Dominguez. I know you've been working with or communicating with city of La Habra in regard to their serve program. So I think we need to coordinate that with Mr. Viegoma so that we're all on the same page. And you could update him as to what's going on there. So you want to share anything in that? Yes, that was going to be my first follow up. Is that yes, I do want to coordinate with you now. I think La Habra is about to have an exercise in a month or two. And I've been, I've got a couple of emails that supposedly, they're going to notify me as soon as that's available. So I can, so I'm trying to coordinate with you on that. So hopefully we can get something going. Yeah, Dave, I heard something. I haven't seen anything official on the La Habra. La Marada also mentioned something as well. I know there's separate events, but it does sound like there's a couple potential opportunities coming up. Yeah, I think one of the things that attracts me to La Habra more than La Marada is that it's right there. There are There are neighbors that, you know, they're gonna respond to us, we're gonna respond to them if something happens. So, there are literally right across the street from us. So, and it's been an effort to try to connect and get information back, but it's happening slowly. So, I do have a couple of other comments. I do want to ask about some possible articles for the Height's Life. And justina, I need to coordinate with you. But the first one that I'd like to have, hopefully coming up, is this QR code that I have here. It's basically a QR, I think, stands for Quick Reference, where you scan and go to the page that the QR takes you to. And it's basically for, as a reference for the residents to have, in case they haven't signed up for some of these apps. And specifically, the Paul's point for knowing what's going on with the FAR department as we we Well as I see on Facebook the community La Haber Heights Facebook site When they hear the FAR department or they see smoke they go on Facebook. So does anybody know? It's like and the first thing I think of you don't have pulse point do you because otherwise if it's a block from you You need to know faster than than an hour from now when somebody decides to respond to your inquiry. So yeah, Pulsepoint, very important. Watch duty, another app, My Shake, the earthquake app. And I provide two options. One is for iPhones and the other one is for Android mobile phones. And then the last four QR codes is for Guac Talk. Notify me, which also goes to the La Haberite's website as far as signing out for different notifications from La Haberite's City Hall for council meetings when the commissions are meeting and anything like the alert LHH, again for emergency alerts from LaHover Heights. And the last one is the one that I also wanted to see what you folks think of it as members. If I have any input back from you, if you were to scan that code now, if you can possibly do it with your phones, you'll see it's going to take you to a prototype sign up form for the La Habra Heights city to see what the residents might be interested in joining to participate as a volunteer. I think it's got like 15 or 20 choices. They have not been officially approved. I'm waiting for Council Member Miss Engelhardt and Mr. Woolrich to get together along with me to discuss the wording of the form. Make sure it's all possible to do. And once that's done, then I think what I want to do, would just dean us to hopefully approach Height's Life and publish this. So folks can have that as reference as far as QR codes and a way, a connection to the residents for them to be able to sign up to the different volunteer options. So that would be one article hopefully we can think about in the near future. The next article that hopefully we'll like to publish in the Height's Life is about the roads that are connecting to the outside world in case we need to exit the community. The problem with that is that I've had a medical problem with my left eye and I have not been able to actually work too much in the computers, have not finished it. So if anybody has any time to help me, if you can approach me afterwards, I'll tell you what kind of help I need to get this done to get that ready to hopefully again approach a high-slif for another reference articles for the community have. Including a electronic version of it, anybody can download with the QR code and many forms that will be online for them to print it out and whatever size they wanted to print it out as a reference we have in their emergency kit or up in the wall to know which other roads that lead out of here. And I think that would be especially useful for new residents who may be only used to knowing one way in and out. But there's other options. So, and the other two things I wanted to talk about is that other two articles that I'm thinking about is the utility shutouts for electrical and gas, which I did publish a version of five years ago when I was a PC member before. I did approach one of the Cert websites yesterday, online I've asked a general question if anybody knew who would be the contact person. But I'm trying to see if maybe you might have some other leads who might be a person to actually give permission to do this. As I'm assuming it's a win-win situation, I'm not, you know, I'll make sure that the Height Slipin puts all the proper acknowledgments. It's a cert, it's, it originates from the Cert Manual 2019 Cert Manual. But again, it's something that we'd like to have as a reference, hopefully, and republish it once again in the Height Slip. It's very hard to find anything that was published five years ago in the Height Slife. If you go to their website and try to find anyone article, you're going to be spending quite some time to find anything. You've got to go through HPDF and go down the line to try to find anything. And also what I like to do with all these projects that I'm talking about, on our page, the EPC page. All these references, the QR codes, the maps, the links. That's what I was doing before when I was the EPC members producing articles, have the Height Slip Publish it, and provide links on the EPC page. So I'd like to continue with that. But again, my own is if anybody wants to chip in and help, I can use that help right now because I have limited visual time but the computer right now. So I guess that's basically it. Just a couple of things before we go on to verbal updates from the community outreach program and brush clearance. A couple of things that I wanted to address posted on Facebook is that the bank checking is a follow-home robbery. If you go to an ATM and you withdraw cash, these folks will follow you all the way home. And so that activity is up. The other is the home invasion based upon these burglar's now utilized Wi-Fi cameras to see the pattern. So if you're a business owner or you tend to have valuable items that you transport, these, you know, they're patient, you know, install. So the key takeaway in this comment is that, know your home, you know, if something is abnormal, look into it and make sure you see your surroundings because these folks will go in and out of your house and within five minutes so ransacked and they're gone and they're going to grab cash, jewelry, whatever it is that's valuable and in certain situation a person's safe was just taken where you know I believe there's over $120,000 worth of jewelry that was in there so if they are that valuable take a look at also bank safeses and bolts. Those are another alternative to keep property away from your home. And so, you know, you can have emergency documents there and whatnot. But just the two things to keep everyone alert as the theft events are happening and we're seeing an escalation of it. So the best way to do it, they't make yourself a victim, know your surroundings, see if you know, if you're taking large amounts of cash out of the bank, make sure you protect that asset. But that's it, so we'll move on to verbal updates, community outreach program. I don't think we have the city manager here today, so would you like to talk to him? Yeah, I'm speaking in part behalf. so upcoming events in La Haber Heights we have the free workshop on living with coyotes it's gonna be presented City Hall on May the 22nd at 630 we're gonna have a guest speaker from L.A. County Agricultural Commissioner So learn about coyote biology safety tips and laws. We've probably seen a great uptick in the presence of an animal that's used to not being so crowded. So now they're coming, they're hungry, and they're pretty big. A lot of these animals that I see when I'm on the road. You already talked about the makeup litter pickup on Hasey and the road. On the 24th, quarterly cleanup will be held June the 21st from 8 a.m. to noon at the park. Bokey items, green waste and electronics will be accepted. No hazardous waste. And the regular Hussey and the litter pickup will be held on June 21st and we're going to meet at City Hall at 645. As you may or wear music in the park, Syria starts June 18th featuring the group called the answer. And lastly, the Ellic County Household Hazardous Waste Roundup will be held July the 12th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park. I did want to follow up on a couple things or just one thing. So I have a friend that lives down the street. He is the cert coordinator for LA City. So if we have a need to keep it local, instead of having our people go out of La Habraites, we can bring him here and help us with cert. So that's an option if you want to entertain that thought. So as you all know, May 1st was the commencement of our annual brush clearance inspection phase. We all know that it is a continual process throughout the year. However, the initial kickoff was May 1st. I have brought on one new seasonal inspect his name is Andre. He came to us from Mountsat College. He was working in the offices with us as one of the community college interns and he did such a fantastic job. We decided to bring him on as our seasonal inspector. In addition to that, I have also interviewed for a second inspector. We budgeted for a second position for the seasonal inspector. This gentleman will be coming on in the new fiscal year, so after July 1st. And I've also met with cell-cal gas, the habitat authority, as well as matrix oil, and discussed my expectations as they meet not only California fire code but also our law provides local ordinance in terms of all things brush clearance and vegetation management. Bruce Thomas, Pantyoy Place. Just several little things. I just had quite a talk with Richard Beckman, who was one of our firemen up here as a kid. 14, I think he was. He's BC at our was retired from Sierra Madre. He teaches Rio Hondo. He's been around a bit. You mentioned grants. He mentioned something that we hadn't thought of. They are our federal grants that can be gotten. He sort of knows about them. I don't know the whole story. That start a fire brigade. Totally separate the fire department. There are a bunch of, you know what, I mean, great guys. The training is not paramedic. It is not emergency. The only time they come out is on the disaster. It's sort of like the certified, a certified group. Well, I don't know how many are left, but we had a certain class here, at least 20 people passed. And the only problem we've had is nobody is called them out. Nobody is kept up the training that they had including myself I went through it. Ken Laman who was one of our guys up here is with Sheriff's Industry Station. Totted great class up here. I like Ed's idea. He knows somebody we need to have at least that problem here if we had a major fire or a major evacuation for whatever. Hoss and I are trying to get past Kolemas going to be a disaster. We're only going to be able to get a sheriff up here in a crew that's halfway organized, hour, two hours after the happening. They're going to be busy. Our guys, they're going to be busy. We aren't going to be able to count on them. We're going to have the same problem trying to get out on with your boulevard. If we have a problem, we're stuck in the heights. Because we're not going to be able to get out, same with harbor and floating road. Nobody's thinking about it because it hasn't happened. But if we have a major problem, we're gonna be in deep mud. Good question to you, wire on that. How many certified individuals are on the Firewatch group? Do you know? Are most of those folks are in the Firewatch? There are some, I don't know. So maybe as a takeaway and something the Firewatch group can organize is a quarterly meeting of the certified individuals and maybe additional folks that want to get certified. I think that would be a great project for the Firewatch programs since there are. We need somebody like you. You've done a hell of a good job to instigate some of this. Those of us that are in there, we're busy doing the fire watch thing. We don't think about cert. We should. And combining everybody I've heard today several things. Let's combine emergency preparedness, the cert program, and whatever you want to call the brigade, whatever it might be. It should be something like, sir, the only time that people would be called out would be at a disaster. We don't need them for the fire guys. They have their training. They do a great job. No question. I think they're a little short-handed, but that's the way it is. We need to have people, when they're busy, the sheriffs are busy, that we can call on. I did it as a volunteer for 35 years. To its lock in the morning, tones go off, we all went. When we were sitting here in the summer at Donna's house, we had five jeeps in the heights and two little pumpers. We'd have three or four guys that were here that we knew about. The tones went off. We had 50 people. We had a roster. I was told somewhere near a hundred guys that were trained that could do fire department work. They weren't professionals. They were volunteers. And that's why we never had a problem up here. I've been here since 54. We've never had a big brush fire. And we're just lucky. So we need to need to combine and instigate some of this and we need people that can instigate it. Okay, I will offer myself to attend a next fire watch program and see what we can coordinate together. So if you can let me know the next time maybe through Mr. Dominguez or yourself directly. And I will make sure that I attend a meeting and see what we can do to kind of make this a team effort and coordinate, make sure the things that you're talking about that we can get. And he has a lot of these good ways of getting these things. We as a city, the politicians, the rafferty, and the whole bunch that are great have not followed up on this cert program for instance they haven't taken advantage of fire watch and we only need to train you and until we have a problem we're going to just live with it. That it. And we understand that. But we're basically the mayor, Dr. Spisa, is the apt-get. He's also a fire watch member, is the apt-get who's trying to get everything coordinated as far as with the sheriff's and the fire department for the 4th of July situation. So hopefully that will be the main subject matter of the next far-watch meeting coming up hopefully in a couple of weeks hopefully I'm an instigator Any other questions comments I do have a comment. I was gonna ask Alan Do you know whether a cert training does any drills or kind of keeping people fresh like you've been certified in every year? There's some kind of annual update. They don't. And so what I've been doing is talking to other cities. The city of La Marada is an example. It has been coordinating with a couple other cities locally to do some of the stuff they just did one recently. I think it might have been March. what we did a mock disaster at one of the community parks there. And it pretty much went through the whole exercise that you would go through of recovery, fire extinguisher, and some other conversations around with jointly with the fire department, in that specific community to kind of help them as well with their trying to accomplish. So, I guess to answer your question, we're trying to work with some other cities that have similar events that they've been scheduling. I believe Lomerad is trying to schedule another event, but that won't be until I think September, October of this year. Okay. Well, I think the idea to pull together the fire watch and then the search for regular meetings is great and you can have even Table top type of drills. They don't all have to be physical, but it's just everybody know what the roles are and who to call and what actions We're gonna take and you know how we support fire how we stay how we stay clear and give them space how how we do these things Just so so everybody knows, you know, who gets cool. I can say something. So are you familiar with the great shakeout? I'm not. Okay, so the great shakeout is held in October and it's probably one of the cert's biggest events. They come on scene and they assist the Fire Department of Law Enforcement and we have a mock drill for the event of what we know will be coming and that's an earthquake. So it's a pretty big event. I would say probably no less than anywhere between 25 to 5,000 people are involved and it's usually held at Dodger Stadium, but I'm sure that you know we could I suggested this last year, last time we should have drills, we should see how we could be prepared, how to meet, what to talk about, what are we gonna do? Who are the people involved? Who are the people that we have to help? Is there some people that people up on Pantyoy? I know for a fact, we're gonna have to help them. So there are probably other people in the community that we have to reach out and I've asked John to give me a list of these people. You remember that John, a list of people that we know in fact will not be able to get out on their own. Then we have consideration for animals, all kinds of stuff. But at least we'll get the ball rolling with something I wouldn't be opposed to participating in a small little shake out of our own. It doesn't have to be just LA City. Every, it's a nationwide event. They sell them not so much, I would say, probably more the state of California, because we're obviously more affected by earthquakes than probably any other state. But it's something that we do have to prepare and be, you know, be prepared for it and the event that it happens. If we get caught with no knowledge of what to do or where to go, then that's going to be problematic. Just as a reminder, the City of Leopold writes has a fault line that can produce an earthquake the size of about 6.6 and a half I believe is the number that I heard last. So... Sure, I'll reach out to my contact and then we'll try to coordinate with John. Yeah. And the people at Firewatch and I think maybe it's great. I think when it independently rather than relying on other cities, that may generate more participation, especially with the large group of our Firewatch program. Right, that's suggest that. Let's keep it in house. Let's keep it here. People are more apt to come to a local event and have to travel to La Habra. And then what if they're overwhelmed and not able to accommodate us? We should have our own program. So the two things I'd like to probably further discuss in you folks can kind of think about for our June meeting is the great shake up so we can kind of plan ahead and if we do something that you know the folks that sign up we can meet at the park or whatever it is and coordinate a checklist of things that we need to do and this is just kind of get more people involved and proactively educated rather than if it happens what do I do now and you know that type of so now great conversation tonight if we have no further questions or comments yes hopefully for those folks who are watching in regards to that list that you were asking me about that's been going on but it's so like in the background of things a Rafferty, Woolbridge, the city manager, does take names and has a list of folks who need that. And whenever I run into neighbors, residents who are in that situation, I refer them to call City Hall and speak to Mr. Woolbridge or somebody that can take down their names and information for that specific purpose. So that's basically how I'm approaching that. Anytime anybody needs that is you got to call City Hall and provide you private information directly to the City Manager. The other thing I wanted to talk about was just You're asking about the search, how do you get notified? Basically, you can go on the search website and sign up at whatever cities and get emails from them. That's been an easy part for me to do. The problem has been that usually they don't notify me until about a week before sometimes the event. And by then it's like, I'm scheduled for something else or I've got some situation that I just can't get out of so. But yeah, they're up again for the general public. The residents may be watching. Yes, you need to do is go to a certain website, find your nearby communities. I've been the passive travel to even see me, not see me, San Fernando, the city of San Fernando in that area, to a certain class. It's available all over the place. And what else? The drill, so when we were talking about the drill, so we might, didn't mean what I used to do at the I need to. And basically about once a month we would evacuate a building. Either the guards would get to get an evacuate the building or staff would get to get an evacuate their offices. A lot of times they hated that, but it was, I had a capture audience. They were basically, we were, we're told this is what we're gonna do, and I was the one in charge of coordinating it. And basically whoever was on shift that day got to participate, but once a year we would have a campus wide exercise. And that was a bit more involved. But basically it gets back to you, you got to do it on a routine basis. If you do it every year, every two or three years, we forget. So yeah, we have to practice as much as possible on a residential wide level. Not just us few few handful of people who may be interested at everybody and whatever way they can get involved needs to get involved. Because for example, with a shirt training, it's not about being the brain surgeon or whatever it's you're going to do whatever you can at your level of physical ability and mental abilities and that's how you're going to help. And that's why we're basically, even when I was doing my little exercises at the Huntington, we, everybody did what they could at their level. We had some guards who were like, in their 70s and so they were not very mobile, so they did what they could. So the younger ones would be the ones who would do the extra physical work. But we do what we can. I think that's what we all need to do. Thank you. Thank you for that. And I think with the cert, make sure we coordinate with Mr. Viegoma since we don't do separate things and we want to kind of coordinate and maybe communicate through Mr. Viegoma as the lead since he is, you know, to charge that. You had another question. Sorry, yeah, no, I was just going to clarify. I meant notified in an emergency because you can be certain trained. But if there is an emergency, you're likely taking care of your home and yourself. And I know I mentioned before that I worked. Many emergencies as part of the FEMA train group. We had tabletop drills, we had physical drills for it, the electric utility, and it's interesting when you think you know because you've been trained, but how different things are actually, even if it's a tabletop drill, of course, in a physical drill, all of that falls apart. I mean, COVID, we had pandemic handbooks of what we would do if there was a pandemic. I don't think any of that was actually utilized when the pandemic and so, and we never did a tabletop on or an actual drill. I mean, you know, so that's what I'm saying. Not, I mean, even if you're certain trained, do you know how exactly will you be notified in what order, what if phone lines are down, where do you check? Just all of this. But we don't have to hash it out here. What I mean is that's where the drills are important. If you're having quarterly meetings, people can discuss that. We can start mobilizing folks, getting people refreshed, right? Because I think that was a sad to hear that there are so many people who are trained, but there have been no refreshers, no contact, no kind of keeping people just up and running. And I know, at least with the utilities, they have lists of people who are in medical baseline, who need, you know, live support or electricity for oxygen or other things. I don't think they make those available, but they must be people. There must be a way for people to self-report and we should have those lists also. But anyway, yeah, I think the drills and the quarterly meetings are gonna sus all of the needs out and I think it's a great idea. Yes, as we discuss in prior meeting, we can do a lot of paperwork and talk about things, but if there's no action, we're not ready. So let's start putting our thoughts and our plans into action and have the set of drills or whatever it is and let's get this start moving forward.
