Thank you. By 30 please rise. Why do I get to see the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which he stands? On education and under God, the New Year's table, the liberty and justice for all. On the Texas flag, I pledge allegiance to the New Year's Texas one day, I'm the God. One in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you. Well, it is January 6th. We're going to believe in a charter celebrate, a visit of the Magi and the wise men to the Christ town, bringing their gifts to gold, right, and said, Climber. Thing is, we don't exactly know when that happened. Matthew tells us that it happened, but exactly when it begins to run a time in Calgary, have a new day plan or anything else like that. So how did we come up with this date? Oh, by the way, it's also the last of the 12 days of Christmas. How did we come up with these dates? December 25th, January 6th. Interestingly enough, they're tied to the days that we can figure using John's gospel and tell us when Christ was crucified and done. It's either Mark 25 by Archambic or April 6th, one of those two days. Extrapulating nine months from now, because ancient people often connected the date of their death, with the date of their conception, and by the way the church celebrates Christ's conception on March 25th in association. I say all of this to say, sometimes we have to make decisions based on the best number that we can put together. Sometimes we do not have absolute facts. Sometimes we're sort of kind of guessing. Sometimes it's just our best guess that we can put together. Do I just have to do that? Or if you're going to have to do that, say the council member seconds to fit. And for this reason, we offer our prayers for you, each time we gather. To guide you and guide you to give you wisdom, give you insight and understanding. And for this we pray, Lord, bless these men and women and work that they do, bless the people who serve our city, guide them in what they do, you know, every way and every day. We name we pray. Amen. Thank you, Rob. This time I don't have anyone who has assigned up to offer public comments and will move on to item number D, consent agenda items. Move to approve. Second. I have a motion to approve and a second, any discussion? All those in favor? Aye. Any opposed? The motion carries. Moving on to item number E, right to the agenda items. We have discussion and possible action regarding the appointment and reappointment of board members to the planning and zoning board. And Amy, if you'll introduce that, I believe, but one of our has a question. Paul. Sure. We have two seats that are a program. Has those been excited to not return to the court? And this year, Michael was wrote into a seat that that actually expires, expires in December. And so we have to see if we can be goes and by outfit. Okay. Thank you. You had a question? Yeah, my question was, I know we had talked about some of this but are they going to be tasked with trying to remamp the the property was important. Or is that just something that we, that it's right now? Right now? A general question? Yeah, I would like to know because it makes a difference to me of who gets nominated. Is that, do we know or we don't know? Just a simple yes or no? I don't know that. I have no idea. don't think P&D is, I think there are joints per sentence or I think it is time in, but I don't think that Council's more. Okay, so that's, you answered my question. Thank you. Well with that I'd like to make a motion to approve the appointment for Brian Mayholtz and George Fricky. A second. All right, I have a motion and a second. Any other discussion on this? All those in favor? Aye, aye. Any opposed? Emotion carries and welcome aboard gentlemen. You don't know what you've gotten yourself in. No, apparently not. Comprehensive plans. Moving on to E2 discussion and possible action regarding the appointment and reappointment of Board Member for the Historic Preservation Board. I'm going to be going to like to introduce that idea. Good evening, the Council just as some of my hands are only there for scenes that are had expired as dawn Harris, Joe Johnson, Windle Piles and Richard Schmidt. They're all looking to be reappointed and I advise that you do that with your budget. I'm going to do it for you in the last second. I have a motion and a second. Any other discussion? All those in favor? I am. Any opposed? Motion carries. Item number three, discussion. Consider awarding a contract to McGuire-Iron, incorporated for the Water Chower painting project to paint the LEC and the LL ground storage tanks. Josh, any other discussion on that? Sarah, this is just the Water Chower tank we've been talking about for about two years now. I was thinking we had approved this last year, did it just not come to fruition? Now we've heard the task board of engineers. Okay. That. Okay. So this is actually the contract to bank and fee tower. Bank two of the clock tower. Okay. And based on this pain, it's far, I mean, it's way deeper than just paying a tower. Oh yeah. I was like, wow, I wouldn't want to be pain. So did they, are they going with the teneamate carabeling? Carabeling? Carabeling. Okay. So, found out the story behind that is Teneamate reached out and wanted to know how to let that a bit. Yeah. That's a name of price for under the vendors was actually higher because most of them were used to do so. Carabeling is a good product. I learned some new vocabulary, which is a good one. I can't use it in context, but I learned something. Okay, well we have that before the Council at this time, do I hear any motion? Motion approved. Councilor Second. I have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? All those in favor? All right. Any opposed? Motion carries. Number four, discussion and possible action regarding an amendment to ordinance number 1546 regarding the budget for fiscal year 2425, Carol. They serve just, raise more budget and then see how, it's whenever you are for the stuff on the agenda. Just like you though, that are on the jump on those. There's a doubt in Trump on there because actually for the last year I was supposed to be here except for the 25th and it never really depends on the school. What? What? What? I have to carry that one forward. But the rest of them are from the state of the olive area for you. There's a motion to it please. A second. A motion and a second. Any other discussion? All those in favor? Aye. Any opposed? Motion carries. We have a discussion and possible action regarding the purchase and upgrade of the volunteer fire department control panel for a new manifold and hydro tank removal. Variable frequency drive. Variable frequency drive. Oh, is that what this is? Yeah, I don't know. How about this too? Oh, here. Volunteer. Volunteer. Yes, to be a frequency drive. Yeah, I'm wondering if that is a part of the part of the part that we have a control. I got it. Yeah. Yeah. This is, okay. I'm clicking now. Now this is for the golf course pumps that we have been experiencing a great deal of problems with and so forth and Alan I think you're here. Would you like to give a little bit of a very brief explanation? Oh, well, sure. Mayor Counsel, up in my guess complex Wood City for six years and Scott's been here with five. And this all goes back basically to the flood of 2018. We did the previous, I think, two councils before, where you all did, prove moving the pump station to higher ground because they got washed out and it was dilapidated and the intake inter-rub was in co colbert. So all the dirt stuff was getting in there and burning up pumps, stuff and rites. So when that happened, I think Josh had the concrete out at the farm. So thankfully that council did move the station and we got a new station. Sorry, went well. And some of the clubs did get it re-worked. Unfortunately, the control panel that was there did not, and there's a, it's called a playground system. It's about a 60 year old technology. We use a popular background for 50s and 60s studies. And to save money, I guess that the council back then, we let it ride, they let it ride, to not have to spend a lot more on top of what they were spending to up your date, the well well. So by doing that, we still have a,lytic water tank of booster tanks like a propane, and it's a huge pressure. And then the clay bell, in the way of those work, is the pumps start on at 100% and they're full capacity. So those pumps will run 600 to 900 gallons of mineral to 265. The 45 horse, they give about 450 to 4 to 6, 4 to 4 mile per second or 100. And when they hammer on, you're up to 182 pounds of pressure. So the clay valve is on the opposite side of the pressure tank. Well, the way it's designed, which was there's one guy in Texas, pretty much the whole of the United States that can program it. And it's such the old technology that he's not responding to me. I've tried to buy a two or three years ago and on and on. We've got them up here trying to work on it. It's a failure. So basically, it's what's happening. It's kicking on. It's a full power and the clay ball was not replaced after the internal blood. So it's had the reading, you name it, and it's creating water hammer. So it may open, it may not. It's not working properly. And the system, like I said, there is a man in the dark and fat, he's got a big, there's one guy that alums the soft work to, the system. And he's a kind of, he's that guy as out of his business, but another guy took it. So the bottom line, and the 10th is a huge safety factor, the pressure tank, because it's over 35 or 6 years old, and I could send you also some videos and stuff that they're exploding. Yeah, we know what catastrophic failure looks like, and that's a huge huge issue the second issue with the way this system is working It's a hundred percent full on power at all times And you're just creating a certain air, a water hammer, etc. in the piping So the guys that work out there is creating a lot more leaps and the pressure is so high right now that some heads they're exploding. And it's so the way to fix it is a variable frequency drop system to where the pump, I'm sure all I have to do here, I don't care if for me or without works, but I mean it's 2025 so it's it's it's it's been It's kind of outdated. Yes, we've been saved money by doing so. So how much money are we talking about saving and maybe possibly lives from an exploding tank? The lives is no doubt. I mean, that's the last of we've hurt the last 10 more years. We don't know, but, for the internal savings, I haven't calculated, because I don't have an amount to the power. According to a representative of the cells, I mean, what do you say? In ten years, it would be good to pay for itself. In electrical energy savings? Yes. And the other are positive to it, other than just the safety factor in general. Less leaks, less water hammer and the energy savings. And those plums are designed to last, we just can't show this, 10 to 15 years. Is that right, Josh? How long does it last time with the water fan? Should get 8 to 10 out of the soul. If you look at our history, we're going from pumps relatively quickly. Well, we're replacing one a year, basically, because I think I can. OK, so the bottom line is if we don't do this, we're naive or dumb, right? Basically, if you don't do it, you can budget 40 grand a year or replace a pump every comfort. But does the safety not concerns working on? I can't work on the pump station. I can tweak it, I can clean the filters, I can do the packing, I can do all that. But when it comes to the programming, I don't have the computer to do it. And when it comes to the safety issue of working on sprinklers I'm concerned about your employees working on under pressure. Right. It's just not it's not working properly. Okay thank you Alan. Marty do you want to? Yeah. We need to talk about there's two options in this deal. One was conversion and it cost about 138,690 acres and the the same system with the whole ski of you, that goes with the, you might have the direct that out on the top, but that ski of you is in wild edging, or you can do that. Okay. Did we get the other remodeling? Did you come in? Okay. So, what Mr. Martinez, and the company that you are looking at on that bid, they worked on the panel a long time ago, for any of us for a year on council or I was in time in the question. But I have history with those guys from when I was working at Esquenito and Bart Creek in the 20 bearded homes, but they're all my word, they're the best in the business, and that's why I called him. I've got a good relationship with him. He's a straight shooter. We met, we started, and I'm already met with him. He's gonna, and if we need you out now, we can pick the plug and go gladly answer questions. But the first bit y'all have is to bring your engineers up and measure our manifold that comes out of the three pumps and then it goes into the hydraulic tank. That would not be all engineer and cut exactly to take the tank off and get the wet because they're the clay ball out and if you look at the cost I think it was $26,000 just to build a mantle. Your second option is no manifold, no guesswork on calculating a proper well and it'll be a brand new skin. Designed from flow trunks. Basically they come in, pulled the pumps, which is sitting in personnel or assist with that. Put everything onto the side. Loaders and pumps should be all in pretty good shape. And then take that skid off off bring in the brand new skid put it down put the pumps back in put the motors back on install the VFD controller and bam you're done your brand new with a six-year warranty on all components with that with burying you won't have a warrantyring tone obviously our pumps that are part of there but turn key it's in my opinion is quicker and in less downtime in your brand new and you're not guessing say those costs come up and they cut that tank out they slide that new manifold that you just get 26,000 large on what if it doesn't line up a half or any of the niche. You stone. With an engineered skid, it would fit over the well properly. Because the one we have now is got a little... We modified it. We modified it. You got a lot of modified it. I'm sure Alice Mama said she had it. It's like not. I had no document to find all, but $13,000 should be crazy. The rental bit was out there. What is this number? The 151, 637. When was that at when was that? When did you all? Was it through my 3D? 3 weeks ago. Well, I'd like to make a motion to a free 160,000 to get this thing done. Two. Did you have to go to three goods? Sorry. I mean, oh, it's by board. Okay. So you don't have to go out to board. Okay. Okay. I have a motion and a second and any other discussion? I'm offering to 160 to get it done so they don't have to come back for three more thousand dollars a couple of goals Okay, okay not the time materials Any other discussion on the motion All those in favor Any opposed most who opposed? Most who carries? All right. Any reports that we have to do today? No, just for another report. I don't know if anything is going to be good. All right. All mine's being clear. Your adjourned. 48. All right. All right. All mine's being clear. Your adjourned. 48. All right.
