I very much appreciate Commissioner Coleman wanting to honor me like this and the Commissioner's Court for indulging in that kind of recognition. I think the recognition is of partnership. None of us accomplished anywhere near what we might if not for partnerships and we have done extremely well with those. Transportation is kind of a heart and soul so much of what the county does, and it's so much of what a growing city has to accomplish. And we've had some marvelous partnerships with the county. And if you look around what's going on, it's one of the things I'm most proud of in the city of Denton is what those partnerships are resulting in now. It's an amazing thing looking around and all the progress, bless you. And it's an exciting time. It's an exciting time for Denton County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the country and projected to be so for the next 20 years as is the City of Denton. Pretty amazing stuff. We have big challenges. I have great confidence in y'alls ability to carry that load, but I encourage you and the future leadership of the city of Denton to keep a very close partnership to overcome those challenges, to make the most of the resources that we have, keep the newest burdens, take those off of the backs of our citizen tree as we can as we accomplish. I particularly want to thank all those kind of ventures that we've had over the years. The government tracked which came out of an initiative with the county to streamline processes with the city. We jointly administer the West Nile Virus program in so many ways and I appreciate that being is coordinating his retirement with my coming off council. And this is- That wasn't easy to do because they changed the rules, you know? They raised the bar on us. Yes, it is. And so this really is, we're very pleased to achieve this. Members, I think when this came to my attention, I can't remember if it was TAC or CUC. I've got an email from and I was concerned about it and sent it on to not only Bennett Halb and members of court, but I also sent it to a Tom Taylor with opportunity regional water district. And he's the one that actually told me that something like this has taken place in past years, essentially in my estimation and in Tom Taylor's estimation, going outside of their authority to really control water nationwide. And at that time, in years past, it was tested all the way to the Supreme Court. And the Supreme Court did say that they had gone outside their authority to expand their rules. And so it looks to me me and it looks to Tom Taylor like they're trying to do this again. So I think the time for us to act is right now. I did bring this to the attention of key self, county judge in Colin County and I've also brought it to the attention of then Whitley, county judge in Tarant County encouraging them to take action kind of like we're doing here today in explaining to the same people that the financial impact it could have on county government. And one of the recommendations from the National Association of Counties is for counties to request an extension, a 90-day extension to 180 days, because they are working on their own comments and they will send those draft copies. What I'd like to do today is request the extension for 90 days. We have a motion by Commissioner effect. Thank you. Second. We have a motion by Commissioner Ead, seconded by Commissioner Marnson. Any further questions or comments? All in favor, please say aye. Aye. Opposed, Sainin? Motion to carry.
