Opposed to the name? Motion carries. Set in B is approval. Budget amount of quest 102-220 for fire calls. Put in the transfer funds from non-departmental, unappropriated fire call contingency for fire and ambulance budget, any amount of $50,000. Donna, can you discuss this? Sure. Hello? Good job, would you? I don't remember his or maybe we have into the year. We have had to amend the budget at the end of the year for it's sporadic, you never know exactly how many fire calls you're going to have. This year it looks like there's sufficient funds right now, but we still have several bills to pay. So to err on the side of caution, we decided that so the overall budget wouldn't be overexpended to go ahead and process this. There's a chance we might not need the whole $50,000, but we wanted to be on the safe side. But based on last year, I think we amended quite a bit, maybe a close to the same amount or $100,000 or so. I think it was $50,000 to $75 last year. And we, you know, in the discussion freshman James and Donna, we don't know that we will be dipping into that 50,000 additional, but we want to go ahead and put it in there based off their recommendation just to be sure that we covered any overreach for that amount. We still will have bills that will be paid probably through October that are for September services. So this is just to be on the safe side. The September bills from the fire department, the run reports will probably not come in and tool by contractor that they have to October the 10th to get those final September 30th bill to us on those run reports. So this is actually actual amount of runs that they make in September of this month. Okay. All right. Thank you. Yes sir. 475 Need your makes actually going up to 500 per call we increased it. Yes sir 475 475 this current budget year October 1st it will go to 500 And that was a agreement probably made over 10 years ago fire chiefs and agreement, but if you will, a discussion with Donna and myself many years ago that we were trying to get to 500 and it took us probably five more years to get there that we'd kind of discussed and they've been very lean on that and supported it with accounting and supports the commission for going to five times. So we very fortunate those fire departments are willing to do that for that little amount of money, although we do pay them a big additional capital for their capital expense. I know my experience when I was doing stuff with the city of Trump, we averaged out $2,200 per call some time. Definitely get a bargain. Are there any further questions? I need a motion. I move. Thank you. We need a motion. I move. Thank you. We have a motion by Commissioner Coleman, seconded by Commissioner Ease. All in favor, please say aye. Aye. Opposed to the name. Motion does carry a 12-A as approval of a 2014-2015 magistrate agreement between Judge Robin Ramsey and Denton County. I believe I shared the email with all of you. I certainly appreciate Judge Ramsey's willingness to help us in this way and certainly at the amount that we pay him. Yes, and I had something I thought it would be appropriate to bring up at this time. I'm in favor of renewing this contract, but with the upcoming legislative session, I was thinking, you know, if you look at other counties similar to us, they actually have a full time county courted log judge magistrate, who was like a magistrate who's assigned permanently to the jail. Senate Bill 7 I guess which was passed about 10 years ago were required to have people magistrated if it's a felony within 24 hours and misdemeanor within 48 hours. And if not there's a set amount of bail you have to release them on. So I didn't know if this would be the appropriate time for us to possibly think about asking our legislators to propose a not a judge but a magistrate that perhaps would be appointed by the county court of law judges to serve that position because it's very very important to have something like that to help manage the population of the jail. We can't depend on Judge Ramsay. I mean, the guy's got to be able to do something. I mean, I can't believe he's been doing this. He basically has no life. Yeah. And I know Al Paso County has a jail, has a county courted law magistrate. And so that was something I thought we should try maybe propose to have in our legislative agenda if we have one, was to seek possibly a jail mandatory. I don't know what do you all think? The first thing that comes to my mind is, so, where is this person going to operate out of what office? There used to be a pretty good, a little courtroom over at the inside the pretrial center. I'm not sure if the remodeling if they're going to take that out or not. They're still there. They're not in their head, yes. I thought the whole floor right there was something like that. But is it working right now? Would you close the door to the executive session room that that sunlight comes through there just blinds me? Thank you. All right. Well, I have to think about that. They want to think about it. OK. It's a good time to bring it up. I just thought it would be good. It doesn't have to be a full-time position. It could be a part-time position. But to have somebody that's completely working for the county, I think, would be a good idea. I know Robin real well and he's a, I think he does a great job. If he go up the ceremony, please. I don't believe he did, but I think he said he's gonna have to. Yeah. I know it's tough, because if he doesn't show up, he has to find a substitute and he has to pay him out of his own pocket. So. He could renew this contract today. Yeah. He could be a part of a legislative agenda. They could be for next fiscal year. It could be a contract. I'm looking at it as for. For this budget year. Just this next budget year. Yeah. I'll move for approval. Thank you. We have a motion for approval by Commissioner Eads. I'll second back and head by Commissioner Coleman.
