of town council here in Snowmass Village. Ronda, do you want to do the roll call please? Sure. Butler? Here. Circus? Madsen? Here. She's here. Good. Here. Okay. We don't have any proclamations or presentations this evening. In fact, it's a very light agenda for those who have us tuned in. I'll move into public comment since we have no one here in the chambers. We will close the public comment section. Consent agenda. Do I have a motion for approval for the consent agenda? Motion to approve the consent agenda. Thank you. Second. Thank you, Tom. All in support. Aye. Aye. Opposed, I'm signed. Just a note, Rhonda, I'll be out on June 10th. I believe it is. The 12th, the word section. 12th, sorry, the 12th. Any other updates regarding calendars? We're getting into that busy season, where we will have people absent from town council until August, I think. Right? I think July 3rd is the. July 3rd? Everybody will be here for the July 3rd meetings. Well, that's great. We'll have a party. is everybody will be here for the July 3rd meetings. Well, that's great. We'll have a party. Public hearings, we don't have a public hearing this evening. Policy legislative public hearings, we don't have anything on the agenda. Administrative reports. Anything Clint or John? Come. No. reports anything Clint or John come no I was at a raft board meeting via Skyplast week and it was a very very interesting raft meeting one of the items that we need to watch for EOTC is the notion of a grant that's moving forward for eight electric buses, for the city of Aspen and for that would be part of the rolling fleet for Raffta, eight buses, about $8 million grant application, however, what is on the table is a half million dollar of EOTC funding and a million from Aspen. So just as it heads up, even though I had a lot of questions relative to we haven't finished the study on the entrance to Aspen, the upper mobility study, and one of the recommendations was electric buses. It seemed to me we're preempting that whole report and one have you. But I guess it's a timing issue relative to the grant. I chose not to vote abstain because we didn't have the information here in Snowmass Village to help us inform us on electric buses. Questions that were not answered was relative to what we discussed. I think it was last Monday night at the work session just briefly about the fact electric buses and the 200 miles on one charge and up and down Snowmelt, etc. And I think Tom may have asked some of those questions. So we will hear more at the EOTC meeting. We have a bulletin. The issue that we're paying attention to as staff is EOTC is the obligation for regional service. And if these buses are regional, then it gets to be a little more defensible or a little more acceptable. But if they're simply for Aspen, then we want to make sure there's some equity for our level of service as well with electric buses and Those are some of the questions we just didn't have answers to and so we just don't have the answers to we agree with the mayor that we just a staff that we just got to pay attention to see how this looks going forward Okay, so heads up ACP did not pass. ACP did not pass. Mr. Scadron had pretty, well, it wasn't lengthy. It's issues that have been raised previously about ACP that haven't been quite answered. So hopefully at the next meeting it might pass but I'm not sure it's going to pass. Interesting. Yeah. It's a lot of it. And this has been my issue with the ACP is the whole break if you will in the Rio Grande Trail. If, as we've read the plan, there's no statement as to the number of breaks that can occur or will occur. So then, are you talking five? You're talking 10? You're talking 15? So without those projections, it's really hard, A, to even contemplate protecting real banking. And the second issue was was within the ACP, if someone breaks the rail bank, then Raptor has to replace it, which is a taxpayer issue. So we'll see how it works out. But I agreed with Mr. Scadron on many of the issues. So let's move on. That was my kind of weak other than stupid foot. Bill? Just a question for Clint. We have a new event director and that's right. Correct. We're changing titles, but yes so Caches gonna do sales and Julie's gonna take Dave's place is that right? We're switching up the responsibilities a little bit So we're kind of making it more of a team effort, but the key should and Julie will be kind of we're calling the events team But they don't know exactly how the responsibilities are going to be between the two, but between administrative boots on the ground, those two will be moving into projects forward like Dave was. Great. And I should say, let me back up. Dave is continuing with the town through the summer. So there's going to be a hand off all summer along with the events. And so the idea is that Julie and Keisha can be side by side with Dave to make sure everybody's lined up and knows how things operate. Okay, good. Appreciate that update. Then we've got a think tank meeting tomorrow, which I think will be interesting, get some updates. And one more question on the west side trail. That's scheduled to start when? It was when the snow melts. It's out to bid right now. I know we had a pre-application or a tour of the site last week. And it was tough because there's still snow on the ground. But bidders showed up, asked questions, and I don't recall when the bid's are due. But last fall, we tried to get it done, and we lost a weather. And so we're really trying to start early this year to get that project done. It's going to be a climb up to the TP basically from the top of the Fannie Hill events, you know, on there, up to the TP and then rerouting some of the village bound also to make that work better. So it won't use village bound up to the TP? I'm speaking a little out of school but I'm 99% sure it'll be a whole new climbing up to the TP and then village bound will be both mean it'll be you can walk hiking the way on village bound but it'd be mostly a down-and-health or village bound on for bicycle. All right good. But that new climbing will be only one way up and so if you're hiking up or I mean you can hike down I suppose if you wanted to but we're trying to make sure we've got one way the hikers can avoid downhill bikers. But that piece from the TP up will be still remain as it is that it's constructed right now and that you can go both ways on it. Yeah, okay. And then the last question I had was on... Nope, that was my last question. Thanks. Lisa, nothing, nothing. Okay. I wish I had something. But I have nothing. Okay. Wouldn't a school win June 2nd June 2nd. And your daughter's graduating. I can't believe it yeah that school goes a little longer than K through 6 and when is graduation so we can get some of our community graduation third I got I got six years okay well let's try to get some of our community there. It's pretty awesome class this year. It is okay. Now we're going to move into executive session here in a few seconds, but first let me read this. It is a recommendation of Snowmass Village Town Council that the council... Do I have a motion to go into executive session? I make a motion to Retreat to executive session. Thank you Tom. Do I have a second? I'll second. Thank you Alyssa on support. I Post same sign. Okay, we will go into executive session. I thought those sketches you sent out were pretty interesting, but to boss
