Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the kind of commissioners court for Tuesday February 21st is now in session. This morning, an indication of the given by Matt Richardson, the director of our health department and our pledges will be led by Jody Gonzalez, our Fire Marshal, will you please stand. I'm going to show you the exact size of the screen. The size of the screen. I'll show you the features of the screen. You can pass the screen with a lot of women, a family family, and a lot of people that I think share it on the screen. You can just share part of the screen. For this screen, you can use the exact size of the screen. You can use the whole screen, you can just try out probably the exact size of the here. I think it's hard to find if you don't feel here. So yeah, I'm probably asking you to lay out to me to serve you in this country in the state and to serve you as a team of students and to make the last few films and to hold it in and to work to see if you can see the first few films and to pass them all the time and the United States of America, and to the republic, probably to say, when the issue is resolved, and the visible, there's very few injustices for all of the states. On my repeat, I pledge allegiance to the United States, and one state under God, one, and the individual. Thank you, gentlemen. Item one is for public input for items not posted on the agenda. If there's any member of the public that would like to address Commissioner's Court, we ask that you please complete a public comment form. They're available on the side table. Want to remind everyone to please turn off cell phones, pages, any electronic device that could be disruptive. We have one public comment for him this morning. Mr. Willie Husbeth, Mr. Husbeth, good morning. What, go, go, go, careful there. I think that was for show. We don't believe it. You don't believe it. It's that microphone on. It's a little red light on. Now, I think it good. I want to pray right quick for something that I need for myself. God, I just thank you and I ask that you just help me to continue to work at trying to love everybody in Jesus' name, amen. Okay. You're my brethren and my sister in. You're my brethren and my sister in. Even though you were late coming today. Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Coleman. It's good to see you. You're my brethren. I was here on time. They started early. Oh, they started early. Okay. Yeah. You sure? I'm waiting for you. Oh, I see. Well, you like me. Thank you, brother. Anyway. You you, brother. Anyway. So my brother and my sister in I want you to I'm just I see that because I need to remember to say what I'm thinking without saying you you you you you you to take that out of there. So the agenda says number one is this item. Number two is this item. My followers, my students say, how does government work? And so I'm telling them come and I'll show you. Well, you can't have an agenda and you don't follow it. It's not the way to go. I'm an organized person in the standpoint that, I'm almost to the point where I don't walk on lines. I'm a bad bad. Everything needs to be in an order. My, in my bathroom, I have rugs on the floor. If they're not straight with the lines of the tile, I straighten them. That's the kind of person I am. So I'm talking to you like I talked to my sister who I can't remember her during birthday and she's always on my case about it. I don't remember anybody's birthday. I just remember my wife because she threatens me. I don't remember my kids' birthday. But then she gets mad at me because I forget her birthday. I have to talk to her like I'm talking to you. She's my sister, you're my brother. So I'm just saying that just from the standpoint that you ought to stay with the rules. I mean, you ought to stay with the gender. That's just my thought. Secondly, they say, why don't I have the meetings my students? Why don't I have the meetings in the mornings all the time? I said, I don't know, that's just what they do. I've talked to you about you, I don't have meetings at night. Remember, that's just my thought. So you need to consider that. Have meetings at night so we can all come. Now, I want to talk a little bit about my students and what they're going through today and what they see. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you have an opportunity here and you have it every Tuesday. They come, they look and listen, we're gonna try, but because of class schedules, I don't know when we'll be able to do it, to sit through the rest of what you do to show them what it's all about. People don't get to see that. And especially this young and they are motivated to figure out what you're trying to do. I want to end with thank you for Zach Rollins and what you're trying to do with him and Miss Alexander who I'd like to have added to the square and Dr. Martin Luther King. Let me close with this little history thing. My dad was, he had a second grade education. He was physically and verbally abusive because he was two years off slavery, and that's how he kept him in check. They beat him. And he didn't know anything else to do, but do us the same way. It was child abuse at that time. And then I grew up and I had a fifth grade reading skill and then went to the military and got some help from some people and got my grades up, got my reading and math up to a point where I could hand things and work through college and got my master's degree. And then I come to a place like this when I first came and I was angry to get to where I am now. Thus for the reason of the prayer, I get it now. We're all the same. We just got to help each other. And I want you to do that. Continue to do that. No one encouraged you for what you've done so far. Thank you. discussion on consent agenda items or do we have a motion? And where is the trail to the evil is a very steep slope where scouts can achieve their highest ranking, that of eagle scouts. And this comes only after earning the 21 necessary badges, including first aid, citizenship in the community, citizenship in the nation, citizenship in the world, communications environmental science, personal fitness, personal management, camping and family life in addition to developing skills and emergency preparedness and life saving in a choice among cycling, hiking and swimming, all of which must be completed by the Scouts 18th birthday. And whereas Harrison Reed Smith has fulfilled all of the aforementioned requirements in addition to completing his Eelscout project, a project that encompasses all aspects of the candidates leadership training, involves the planning development leadership and the eventual documentation of a project whose sole benefit is to the community at large. Harrison Reed Smith E evil scout project involved renovating Hickory Creek's Arrowhead Park, including painting metal railings, replaced signs, repeated bathrooms, and picking up trash along the way. Now, therefore, it be resolved that the Debt County Commission's Court on behalf of all of its residents joined with true Board 24 Longhorn Council, the Boy Scouts of America, recognizing this bright and outstanding young man.
