Well, it did take some time and resources to investigate, and it wasn't individual at all, not a family. So I just think, would you be thinking about, should that become problem back county? We should be pretty good, and perhaps consider having some policy in place. Do you agree with speciality? Is that a policy that a local DSS but in place this I'm gonna actually I'm uncertain of that because we preserve all six In a I'm going to call the question on a big raise your right hand. Any folks live live? Please do the next item one again is public comments. We'll leave public comments for today. No public comments. And there will be public comments. So if they get to two doors there, you can walk over this one. All right, personnel report. I'd like to ask a very quick we have behind us some of our new personnel and we're going to start all the evening, but we're going to have the managers to go ahead and introduce the people from your departments. And you are also seeing the fruits of that pay expansion behind you. So go ahead. All right. So I have Ms. A&E here with us today. She is in investigation. We were excited to have her here and then I have this colleague behind us. She is an intern in adult services so we are excited to have her as well. And that's all I have. So the rest are gone. We had eight start Monday, so we have Andrea, um, Sherry, Emily, not Rebecca, Rachel, Erica, Teresa, Jessica, and oh, you've been here a while. You got Madeline. Three weeks. So I'll let them just tell you a little bit about themselves, but I'll at least start it Monday. So, Matt, what have you been here to weeks? Three weeks. Okay. Oh, I'm a bit scared. I'll let you do it. That's fine. That is sorry, Kristen. I have a lot coming. I'm just telling you where we work before a little bit of after-sale. I'm an injury abandit. I was with a... Um, I'm angry about that. You can't just tell where you work before a little bit of after sale. I'm Andrea Bennett. I was with an acro-blue staff and I get to see part of the committee here. They showed our office down and said I was forced to look for another position. But I'm very happy to be here because I wanted to, this is where I've been trying to get to, so I'm happy to be here. And I'll be here in Medicaid pathway. I'm Sherry Iceman. I think of the pink one, I think of North Carolina. I was the office manager. I was ready for a change, so I had to take care. And so I applied, I actually went to the job fair. I've never been to a job fair before. And I got to meet K-1 and had an interview right there on the spot. So I was very pleased for how that went. And then I got a call. So, you know what I mean? I'm Emily Howe. they helped care first and we're at Universal Mental Health and we're at a very long care and long services. Whenever COVID happened, they get a layout, but we didn't have anybody come to the rest of care. So I went back to school for business and actually was a barender. And ended up here with you guys, because that's what I wanted. And I'm in a dual bed again. I'm Rachel, actually, I actually came from a marital malcal fusion. I worked there for nine years, so I got laid off in June. I applied here multiple times, but it was called my twin sister Rebecca Warthier. Good to ever get in the door. Did you translate this to the text office? Playable to apply. This is somewhere I won't do long time. So just a lot of things you did. About part of Becca. One of his air friends, I just graduated from my Sutheral with my Associates and Human Services. I'm still online with Lisa McCraight saying my best solution to this. I'm excited to get my experience here. I'm with Joseph Williams. I'm from Louisiana. I work at USITC. I've seen no refinements and then I moved here a year ago. I got away career on a car practice and I've done a few of their math five years. I'm an English-Jesick of Levens. I come from Rumbling Ballwell in my quarter by the resort there, I worked at Front Desk the last few years. I was just looking for a change and started applying in June, so I'm so excited to be here. My name is Madeline Sveta. I bought property here in Rutherford County moved from Wackel County very happy to be here and Just had a temporary job when I first moved here that I ended up getting too comfortable in and Find the Christmas altar to move on. So very happy to be here too. My name's Kristen White. I came from Olive in Cleveland County and my previous job was Ivy. We had physical therapy and almost a patient coordinator there. I'm happy to be here and I'm going to see what the day's going on. Very good. I was actually going to be talking to you. I'm Andy. I'm an investigation here at the SS. I came here from San Francisco about a year ago and I just loved North Carolina. I'm happy to be in the state and I'm happy to be at the SS. I'm currently on the interim with all services and I'm going to student at Lawsham State. Welcome all of you. Thank you. I'll have to say that we do the board work here. I actually do the board work. And especially with the Medicaid space, and we have had many changes in this community at all. I'm coming for the citizens who've been missing out spot. Of course, I don't pretend that I know, but I don't know all the acronyms. So you guys admit it gives that we give it a little thinking. Which you did and the poor part of that is you know state you are honest. Make sure that we're doing what drives them all back money because we all want it good to the people that take this form. The reason the state provided to us is the definitely. And the reason I'm saying that is what you're doing is important and it's going to make difference with the Medicaid expansion and it's what's making the day or it's a day before. But now, coming forward, we're either born, you're welcome to come, You reach out to us. I think that's great with the records as well anytime. But the goal right now here is to serve a community. And you guys, thank you for which you've been doing. How much are you getting ready to do it? And I enjoyed hearing about your background. You bring a lot of talent or expertise to the agency. And no doubt that we're going to have a great Medicaid expansion team and adult service work. I'm glad to have you all here. I want you guys to make sure that you know all of our board would you have one that's missing, the chair that you made your company, Ms. Barbara Thompson, but also on the end you can't see his name right now. It's a favorite from the board members as well. They actually support the board and they need every month that we talk about or to get the board to begin. That would reach out to the board if you have something that you need to reach out to. It can come to me as well but it's definitely a way to reach out to the board. And for our attorney it's definitely a title reach out to the board. And for our attorney, it's Virginia's here, and then I think you know everybody else. Any questions from anybody? The leader is serving your name. I just read a couple of them. Well, thank you. I think we do appreciate the work that you do. Really, Dylan, thank you for coming. And we're looking to spend more time with you as we move along. Now we will continue on with our agenda and welcome to stay. But now if you want to go back to work, that's a good thing to you. What's your pleasure? Well, you know, we have a great Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. going to be more easy. We, I've filled all of the trail news. But it's, so does the internal dominoes. They've got free that was posted today. One that I had to do, so you're making it to the research. It's going to be quite a way. We've got some other, we've got some other things. I'm going to have to do expression. It's going quite a way. We've got some albums. We've got some albums and some other albums. And you're going to think about taking those now, Marri-San. Okay. Yeah, I'm going to take that. Thank you. Yeah, we got plenty of. Yeah, we do. That was one of the things I think from the very beginning. Our life was a very innovative strategy. So we appreciate that. So we're going to the personnel report. And if you guys will just sort of review that and you can have me play. There's a bunch of people working out there. I'll see. Here, mine with the prior balance that I'll see. The prior balance 78 on the foundation of the 68. I'm just saying the eight point line. Um, but because it doesn't seem to be an average. I wonder what it is. Look at it like employee number cop time. And then like underneath there's prior, it says prior balance. So I know it. So like, probably, uh, let's look. Yeah, let's just point with that. I don't remember. I don't remember. It was prior balance. I just want to know what those numbers are. Okay. So there's a lot of part about this. Is there a problem on the right side under the open head? Or is this what he's looking at? Okay. Well, really it's under each section. It's prior balance. That was probably the month before it was pressed. Yeah, that was the month before. Yeah, so we added that. Yeah. And so you guys could see the difference from the month prior. I see. And the month's prior number is, it just happens to be under the employee number section there. And then, so looking at adult Medicaid, the prior balance was 29.6. And then the correct one is 34.02. That is correct. We probably can make that a little bit better so that it, because it literally does go under the employee number. Okay. Can we work on that? I would even suggest putting under maybe like the prior balance number, put it under these words as prior balance. I think that looks really clear. Yeah. I agree with that. Thank you very much. Any other questions? I can appreciate that. Director Smith, excited as I just got some of the records. Okay. Everyone have their financial report on the study first, 20,000. We will see on page two our contribution from general fund for our program expenses is 0.62 percent which is 16 percent under budget. That still looks a little odd and I have to show the negative amount there. We got 0.62. Looking at we have two pay periods in June. We got that reimbursement for the two pay periods in July. So that's still trickling down into that. So we've actually received a little bit more reimbursement than shortly spent those administrative expenses. So that's fine. Still, that'll even out eventually when we get more payroll in there. Then going to page three, your contribution of general fund for your programs is that we don't understand that it's 8.35 over budget. Again, that's where we have had some expenses and we've got to receive reimbursement yet. So you have to remember, we pay up one month, claim it the next, and then we get reimbursement the next. So it's kind of the way the money flows. There was a couple of lines that were over this month, that were not over last month. So everybody had it, we're in our chalics. Everybody had a chance to look at those. I won't go through those individually. Read the notes unless you guys want me to. Do you have any questions with the report or are they seeing anything that was odd that you want me to address? Are you playing? I think that's it. She's just talking about that one page. No, I was saying, I mean, I'm not going to go through each one of those months and let you just hold me to. I mean, the ones that I'm telling us were me, the mismatch, they weren't over last month. I actually go through those. No, that's the thing. As at the very end, the very last page is there, budget is 6.26% total We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to figure out how to do that. We're going to be able to on the plants a bit over. Are we expecting that we have a replacement for that? Yes. That one will shut down and balance that out. That one is that we're coming this way there. So, you'll see that we've only, we haven't purchased, we haven't paid for anything yet. We just have it in the incumbent salon, it's still in the PO. So we haven't actually paid any of those businesses and then claimed it for a rare person yet. That is bad. That we will. You're finding it direct, I don't know about my director, he's pretty nice to watch for Yeah. You know what I did. You both have these. Yeah. You're on it. Yes. Yeah. And actually, I've sent already a group of us saying to get the computer equipment direct charged. So the Medicaid, because you have to do that. But then we have to keep that equipment directly with Medicaid. But that will be a problem once we get that money later in terms of. Thank you. Any other questions? Any other questions? Thank you for the question. Thank you. All right. We're all so important. Just here to you. All right. You see all this 23 servers report. You'll get to look at those various services and have questions. I'd like to note, take that on. The second page, we walk. You don't see all the zeros because there's some of them over there's no more funding. But that would give it all that you leave out as well as do that. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. No, it's a program that day. It's like a good night. All right. So just updates from about services. We had our first multi-disciplinary team meeting last week. It was a very successful meeting. We had a lot of community stakeholders around the table from hospice, from the senior student just, you know, people who were with our adults on a databases. Had a lot of feedback. It was a really good meeting. And so we'll have another meeting October, just to find ways to assist our adult. We're getting a lot of adult protectors, so just cases and building a lot of elderly populations. So we are working more than to be able to come around and say we'll discuss what we can do better for them. The APS unit adult services also had a review last month, yeah, about a few days ago, and it was a perfect review. They get very well with, you know, again, going out and doing the job and knowing what they slow to do, but you know, make sure that we have these in our adult services, our adults. We have a few audits coming up in children services. We got one in October and then we have another one coming up in November so we're working on records and you know just trying to keep together in children services. We're also working on a training unit so that we can have a better process for the workers that come in so that's something else that we're working on a training unit so that we can have a better process for new workers that come in, so that's something else that we're working on too. So that's pretty much what we have going on my side of the world. Any comments you'd like to use? Work? Just out of we've seen any sort of change that stands out with an increase in. Let's say able by the adults better, not citizens, that sort of thing, pretty much business as usual. Business as usual. Yeah, I think you might. Anybody else? Thank you, Jeff. Appreciate it. You can have a service as an exit. I just want to find out on the services report. Just, I mean, I just want to keep it out on the security numbers. They're just not dropping off. They remain up there. We can be on a roll. We have a July to August. But we're really struggling in that area. We do have two vacant seats. We're struggling in Kettle. We're just, we're just really struggling there. We do have three new positions that has been trying to grow now. So we hope that we can get back to Kettle, but we have 20, 28 that was over the years last month. So, but we had an increase of 40 something pushing it in this area, pre-COVID to COVID number stand. And we thought maybe it was stabilized by now, but it was just a little bit stale. That's just that so, I felt like we're a signal. That's just that. So, um, I felt like we were drops, so I'm going to talk to you. Talk to you about that. You have, um, review of income like, um, We have reviewed income, we have the complete review, we have the complete review, we have the complete review, we have the complete review, we have the complete review, we have the complete review, we have the complete. So this was so many jobs, just wondering why you had the increase? You know, I thought it would follow an album, we've been getting it, it's been, it's something like that. No, it's not. It's not a drop, it's just like, no. I'm not sure what. I'm sorry. But we just continue to keep our hour on. Maybe, maybe, maybe, or just keep it. The person doesn't have to be the same or anything with the issues in health. In the end, I believe you were saying out that Medicaid is pension, but we see this, so the accounting manager and the commission knows each month. I believe you guys want the July and August. And so I'm sure you've had time to read that. So I won't go anywhere with you, but we did really work very hard on the recruitment plan. And it was very fruitful. The one thing that we received, 15-hour applications in August, including the hiring event and we completed very something interviews. So pretty much that's been consuming our time. But of the Medicaid positions, like I said earlier, we have our 12 field, which is got to, with those openings, you'll be providing someone that leads to opening some of the other areas of your office. But hopefully in a couple of weeks, what have that all of it finished? I hope. those but hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll have that all of it finished I hope. Oh as far as the implementation of the big expansion policy, we did get a direct policy that we've got that file policy and we don't have a firm date as of yet. So as you all know they had a past budget yet. I think I forgot the little bit in the end today I'm not sure. A winged bail. Oh that's a good idea. Yeah, that's what I'm hearing too. That seems to be one of the issues. But so we really don't have an implementation date. But for us, it's difficult to give. Unless we're just going to get our staff in. And it takes a while. If you've been trained, that'll give us a little bit more time. They get better prepared. Thank you very much. and more time they get better for payment. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. So I will turn your attention to the number of a copy of our annual books. Just make sure you trace the letters. It proves that they have been used to life-shan. Do you have any questions? That is really good message. Thank you. It's well put together. Thank you very much. I'm happy to see your number of numbers. I'm happy to see what we did for our annual report. For that, the work is a different one. Thank you very much. for our government, for power to work in the world. Thank you very much. No questions. I just wanted to update the board on things that are going on here. We have a meeting on September 27th with Ben Sierci, our facilities director. Sierci, our facilities director. Cersei, our facilities director and the person who will be building the house on this campus and for the purpose of this house is we wrote and we wrote our comments. I think half of the dollar ran somewhere on there. To build the house on this campus, we need kids all all close to floor and into it. So we're excited about that so we just need you to know that this is going to happen. We are also trying to close about shins and get more foster fingerprints because that will also help keep the kids out of our offices and one of the ways that we're doing that is we're proposing a reduction garden, which adoption homes will pay for. Two other options that will be right out front in that little area where you see the island here, so we're proposing that as well. The other thing is that child support, they just recently had an audit and where they made 100% so we're very happy with them. And our finance department and all this had an audit. In May, but we literally just got the information back, like last week. And it wasn't really that audit as well. It was a little area where something came out of one home to another but they actually fixed the code, got the money in the right section so that makes their audit very well. So the other thing that we're looking at just to put it out there is we're looking for licensing units that makes it we need to hire a supervisor and we're just thinking ahead we're using innovative strategies that they had because we're going to have the house on site and of course if you watch the papers there's a person you hope they're out there and they're going to have the house too but DSS is one pretty much the name because none of these houses are licensed for other people we're going to have cows too. But DSS is going to be much demand because none of these houses are licensed for other people. We're going to come sort of man those. So that is something that I'm going to try to figure out how we can get money to have a licensing unit to also manage that. So things are going quite well and all our departments and we're excited. We're working with Candy with the limited nutrition services to try to build those gaps. But looks like things are going on. All right. So we're kind of excited. You want to come in? Oh, and if I think we can, you'll copy. But you give me, we's the press of it? I'll use it to make it on my nation. Didn't you? No, I wanted to say the house. But, sorry, but anyway. We have, I can send it to you. It's a copy of, just so you can see the past. There's a sort of red all that's done. She. OK. You can see. I did. Yeah, I can see. It was linked up to the slide. It gets everything. I'm sorry. It was linked on the website of gender. Oh, OK. Oh, OK. Great. Thank you so much. I just want you guys to be able to see what it looks like. Because it's kind of exciting to see it on my face at a different time. All right. Any questions from any of the managers in here? Have I left anything out? Yes. The main question is over here. I love it. What do you know about the lab care? Because I can't. Yeah. Okay, right here. So, you know where that Muncie built the NIS, but they call that. So the Muncie built the, they're gonna put that on, deals got gop, the NIS use, I'm sorry. Gop deals. And get rid of that, and then there will be replacement with the house, with the playground, the bin sink, and all of that stuff. I cannot show you how excited we are. Okay. Sorry. All right. You all did a great job recruiting. That's because I saw it all over the place. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks Wes. What you have for me. I'm going to be honest with you and tell you that this, I have to get ready to, our Iconon Services Director, and our Human Resources Director, because she actually gave us ideas. Now, Aaron sign, I can't put in Iconon Services, but I'm adding the paper, paper, I don't want to get missed on, I'm having a buzz then. Yeah. So they, I mean, we had a real, I'm just proud. Because when I take me out of supportive counties, because other counties are not where we are. And we're already full of staff, almost. I'll give a lot of competition to things. I can't believe I need jobs or a life form. I'm not, I'm never, I'm never, I'm never, I'm never or by the way. I'm never seen that many jobs. But it's the worst thing that she's staying and taking up on people's hearts and thinking about that can work. Yeah. So we'll be waiting. Yeah. But thank you. I really thank the board for your support. That's what we have for you. So I'm very huge. You too, Mr. Williams. So I don't have anything else. I'm a huge miss a week. I don't have anything else. I'm pretty much done. I'm one of them. Oh, there are any announcements? Everybody? Oh, I'm like, oh, you're a patient. I'll make a motion that we're generally. I'm not. Every time. I'm a motion inciting in the discussion. You're going to call a question. I'll figure it out. This conference is no longer
