Okay, my apologies takes a second for the recording to start Call to order Thank you if you'll permit I'll just call roll Jane I'll just go around is there Lynn Jane I'll just go around is there Lynn? Who's down there? Killing Gib and our chair's Devin. Thank you. We have a quorum this evening So the next item would be public comment. It looks like we do have some guests here mr. Bowman Will you go speak at the podium for us? Jake will you go speak at the podium for us? Jake, will you go? Yes, sir. If you'll speak into the microphone up there. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I love the past and business. Sure. I can't wait. The reason I passed nothing business started because I want to present that perfect time. And by anybody's following any time, we'll talk. Good evening. I'm Wayne Blan, president of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Johns Creek. The Arts Alliance was created in 2007 shortly after the city was founded and incorporated as a 501c3 Georgia nonprofit corporation in March of 2012. Our mission is to promote the visual performing and cultural arts in order to enhance the quality of life within the Greater John's Creek area. There's just a bit of a shadow, so I'm having to adjust here, so add 10 seconds to my time. We have fulfilled that mission in a variety of ways over the years, but that's not the main reason I'm here this evening. On Sunday, November 13th at 4 p.m., we're having a very important meeting of the arts alliance that will provide an update on the Legacy Center project and include presentations by Steve Dorrell, a first community development, the firm leading the private funding campaign, and Stacey Gross volunteer coordinator for the City of Johns Creek. That meeting will take place just around the corner in the council chambers. I want to invite each one of you to attend. It will give you an opportunity to meet leaders in the arts community and give us an opportunity to get to know you. As advisors to the mayor and city council, you have an extremely important job, especially at this time of dynamic development for Johns Creek. The Town Center and the Legacy Center of Johns Creek together represent a giant step forward for our city. As Johns Creek go to source for all things cultural, the cultural arts alliance of Johns Creek has taken the lead over a period of several years to move the vision of a comprehensive Cultural Arts Center forward. And we are poised to execute a plan that will bring that vision to reality. The Legacy Center is the proposed 90,000 square foot facility featuring a 1200 seat performance hall, a 300 seat band quick flexible space, and a commercial kitchen, and a new home for the Johns Creek Arts Center as well as additional spaces and amenities normally associated with a world class arts facility. Although you will likely receive a personal email invitation to attend our meeting on November 13, I wanted to deliver an in-person invitation and share just a bit of information about the arts alliance. Thank you. And be sure to give me a call, and shoot me an email if you want to chat. It's fine. It's fine. Four. Four of five. Thank you, Mr. Bowman. Joan Compton. Thank you, cards, too. I didn't even think about that. Passes that from the government. Joan Compton. I didn't even think about that. Passes that in a minute. I'm Joan Compton. I'm also with the arts alliance, cultural arts alliance, John's Creek, one of the executive board members, and actually one of the founders. I'm also in a lot of, well, a lot. Several other arts boards around the city. Also, I'm the representative for Commissioner Liz Hausman, Fulton County Arts Council, and have been for 16 years. I'm just going to be ending my term at the end of this year with Liz Hausman and hers at the commission. I'm also on the CVB board and a number of other boards around town. So I've been watching your meetings sometimes in real time, but quite often the next day. It's like all the meetings I watch, I can sit through the parts I'm not interested in, but I've been interested in everything you've been doing. And I know right now you're concentrating on festivals and that makes sense because you gotta do those like a year ahead. But I hope you're gonna be expanding your mission beyond festivals because there are many arts organizations out here, lots of arts going on in the city and culture and other events and activities. And we all need support and the arts alliance is hoping to work with this new A-Sport to support all of those and to grow the arts in Johns Creek. Watching the videos, it was kind of clear that you weren't aware of the cultural arts alliance so that's one of the cultural arts alliance. So that's one of the reasons we're here. And you may not be aware of most of the arts and cultural organizations in town. Hopefully if you can come to the meeting on the 13th, you'll meet many of the leaders of those organizations. But I also wanted to mention our website. It's at artsaliancejc.org. And it has a number of things. It's got a calendar of events. So if you haven't been there, if you're looking for something to do, please go there. You'll see many of the events that are going on. We used to only put the events of our members, but really the last several years, we're putting events of everyone, including the city. Because we think that's a service. So if your organizations have any events, please let us know and we'll post them there too. I'm sorry, the... Oh, yeah, it's artsal alliance jc.org. One of the other things that's there other than the calendar, there you'll see opportunities for funding for arts and culture organizations, various grants in Fulton County has funding that will be coming up, actually will be announced probably in the next couple of weeks. So it's just good to be aware of that. But also right now if you go to the website you'll see there are three stories about the latest three public art pieces for the city and the interesting thing is they're all from three different entities. So, beautification John's Creek and the horse sculpture. The CVB is the sculpture, the Gateway Marker sculpture, and then the city in conjunction with Fulton County and the Historical Society and the CVB. And a few other entities is turning the old Roger Spritz, the historic Roger Spritz into public art and that's going to be a massive piece but we're all just going to use that salvage, that still salvage for several other smaller pieces that will be coming up. So anyway we just want to make you aware of the Cultural Arts Alliance and the meeting coming up and yeah we're hoping to partner with you and collaborate on projects going forward. Thank you. Is there any other public comment this evening? Okay. There's nothing under reports and presentations. I just want to remind you to turn your microphones on when you're speaking because we are streaming these meetings. The first item under new business is approval of minutes from the October 13th meeting. Sarah motion on those minutes. Motion to approve. Thank you all in favor. Thank you. The next item on the agenda is the DeWalley Festival update. I'm going to turn it over to Ms. Gross. So last month was pre-DeWalley Festival. And here we are with the other side of it. And it was super successful to say the least. I would be remiss if I didn't point out my hero, Gib, who helped me tremendously that day. And before, and he was just amazing. We had a lot of volunteers that helped that day. We had over 100 volunteers that showed up and then even more throughout the whole planning process. Macy's technology was our title sponsor. We had, I don't even know how many sponsors I think in the end seven or so sponsors that helped fund the event We had 48 vendors 15 food vendors two food trucks three bounce houses two face painters a caricature artist a balloon artist In a full schedule of culturally relevant performers and music. It was a great day. I hope You all were able to come were you able to be there good good? Yeah, I hope y'all were able to come. Were you able to be there? Good, good. Yeah, yeah. I was there for from about five-ish to six something. Oh, okay, good. Excellent. Thank you for coming. It was a really great day. And of course, we're all aware of the traffic and parking issues. That's not, you know, what, yes. That is an issue. And that is something that we've already talked about for next year and Obviously something that that will be addressed and it won't it won't be held at the same location We did have an estimated 12,000 I've seen 12 to 15,000 in attendance. I didn't count so Yeah, it was a lot we were originally planning for about 500 to 2000 so Who knew now we know. But with it being our first year, of course, I will say several great things are we had 12 to 15,000. We did not have a single safety or security issue. We had a full team of police and fire on site and didn't need them, which is what you want, right? They were prepared, but we don't, you know, it was kind of a boring night for them, which was great, other than helping with traffic. We did have a beautiful seven-minute fireworks at Chicago, Ganta, that was really, really nice. I have the YouTube video if anyone ever wants to see that. But yeah, we're already talking about next year. We've done some debriefs. If y'all have any comments, I'd love to just gather those for the future, but I appreciate those of you who are able to come and your support and everyone's support with that. It's awesome. Do you have anything you want to add, Kim? I just wanted to mention to say thank you to you. You worked one heck of a long day, and you had a lot of things that you were in charge of and I'm sure it was very exhausting to you but you did a fantastic job. So I was going to reach out and give you credit where it's due for everything you did that day was wonderful. Thank you. Wow, thank you. Thanks guys. That was really nice. Yes, I'd like to interject something. Miss Compton, while you were speaking, I interrupted your time in asking for the URL. Would it be OK if we credit it if you wanted that time back? Oh, I think I said it. My definition of arts is all? I'm just visual arts but it's fluid, you know about arts and culture in the city? Why do I have an experience? My forgiveness. Thank you. Anyone else? Moving on from the volleyball festival. So if you read the memo in your packet, I compiled the Lunar New Year conversation and brainstorm we had last month which I thought was super productive and it was really great. So I just want to make sure that I captured in this information what was communicated, make sure I didn't leave anything out. I'm not going to read it. That's a pet peeve of mine, like people who read PowerPoint presentations. I know y'all know how to read. So just really do just want to make sure that I've captured kind of the flavor of our conversation and the flavor of our brainstorm and some of the details we talked about January 21st during the day. I suggested 1 to 4 because it will be a little bit warmer than in the evening hours. Having it at Newtown Park possibly at under the amphitheater, maybe getting some tents with heaters. We talked about the different sponsors and various entertainment, food. So just want to see if I left anything out that we talked about or if you thought of anything in addition since that conversation last month that could be added. Oh, never mind. I was looking for giant moon. There it is! That's on there! I did find the um that candy, the Hawthorne berry candy. I found that. I do not, I could not find anybody that makes it. You have a source? I could not find anybody that makes it. You have a source? Actually, yeah, I'm encouraging Yifan to... Okay, okay. They're kitchen and then, you know, they should be able to make it. Yeah, I'll get an update. Yeah, that's great because I googled it and I saw something on Amazon and I thought, oh gosh, it's for ordering it on Amazon. Yeah, it can be other alternative to you know like any fruit that Shoulder Is there anything else that's on the list or you think you'd like to add? Of course these are details details. This is a broad Vision that will narrow in on and it'll go before council hopefully in the next few weeks and then the actual planning will start and we'll have we by we I mean me I'll have December, January to really get that nailed down with our partners. Okay, questions. Yes. So, does anybody from our committee involved or know? Yes, please. Oh, yeah, absolutely. I have myself. Okay, I got you. Yes, thank you. So, the way that will be done, similar to how Devali Festival was was done as I had a group of community partners. And I think I said this last month, I don't want to make the assumption that y'all are my planning committee for every event. And you guys don't have the time for that. And to Jones Point, we're not just a festival planning committee. We are arts culture and entertainment. So at this moment, we're focusing on these festivals because I can only do one thing at a time and that's just my focus for right the second. But I will create a group of community partners with your help, probably, you know, anybody who wants to be a part of it to plan that festival, it's not just the assumption that you guys are, you won't, that's not the the assumption that you guys are you won't that's not the assumption but you are welcome to be a part. Question? Yes ma'am. Would we need to set up maybe a meeting with you to speak about how to become a formal partner and would that create any conflicts like with my work with certain on profits and then my oh I think so Can you talk at what sort of partnership are you talking about? So I'm a part of impact Johns Creek and we have been in talks with the city about partnering to do Juneteenth, okay Here I am on the board as well, but so that we can, I guess, begin formalizing conversations if we're gonna do it, if we're not gonna do it, you know, got that kind of thing. I don't think so. Thank you for telling me. I'll try to just run it by the city attorney and sometime in the next couple weeks, but I can't off the top of my head see where that would be in this ship. And as far as that particular event or any event beyond these two So these two are just on the table right now because they need the planning needs to get started and I have to get go before council and get approved before planning can start so So we're kind of handling this these first and then we'll look at the rest of the calendar and we'll talk about that as a Committee will talk about what we want to take to council for the rest of the calendar. And we'll talk about that as a committee. We'll talk about what we want to take to council for the rest of the year. So that conversation of if we're going to do it or if not, that'll be an ACE committee decision that we'll do. And then the ultimate decision will go to council and they'll make that determination. So as a body, we will come up with what that looks like. And you know just like what lunar New Year celebration looks like, what daffodil days looks like. And then council's final decision. But yes, ma'am. Another question. So when would be the date and time the city council will have a decision? TBD, I don't know. I'm not sure. Hopefully by the end of November, but I'm not in charge of the agenda schedule, so I can't promise that. But that is the second meeting. It's tentatively scheduled for the second meeting in November, which is the 28th. So hopefully we would know something by then, and then we meet that second meeting in November, which is the 28th. So hopefully we would know something by then and then we meet that second week of December but by then I could already have some logistical things in place that I know need to already be done and then we could talk about or I'll figure that out. I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure what step two is just yet. Do you all have anything else? Is there anything else? Lynn? Lots? Yeah. Okay. Change anything? You're good? Awesome. Okay. So if this went before council in a similar format, it probably won't be exactly this, but in some sort of format like that, you're okay with that vision, that picture, that, okay, excellent. Well, that's great, I love that. Okay, Daffodil Days is next. And same idea, this was me compiling our brainstorm for last month, that it would be a week long celebration that involves the entire community, including special menus, special art classes, painted daffodils, displayter on the city, daffodils on mailboxes, yellow daffodil magnets on city vehicles, banners on light poles, and culminating in a small town feel of game booths hosted by various groups, non-profits, prizes, festival food, you know, funnel cakes, snow cones, cotton candy, all the thing everybody like. And bringing the focus back to a small community who gathered together to celebrate. So we had some great ideas, y'all had some great ideas last month that I listed down here. I would love to include a philanthropic arm of this that there's a large push towards giving back. Somebody mentioned knitting blankets for donation, you know, all those types of things. I know there's other organizations that have some great things we could get involved in that week too. So I want to make sure that this description and this memo accurately captures what we talked about. Plain? The other thing I would like to add is that the thing that we're missing from this is the actual dappadils themselves. I know that John's Creek beautification has planted several thousand of them this year but I would encourage you to discuss with maybe the parks or the council that if you're going to have a festival say it city hall that you plant them now so that way when you have the daffodils days in the spring daffodils are actually Well, and that is what we talked about that I, while this is called daffodil days, right, I, for myself, would prefer that this event be centered more on the story of what Johns Creek says the daffodil it is, because I don't want to be responsible for a daffodil being in bloom when we have the festival. So it would be that March 19th March to 23rd timeframe that we talked about, which hopefully they'll be blooming somewhere and we'll have them wherever the event will be, which we didn't actually even talk about the location. But that I guess they need to be planted now. You had control over when daffodils would bloom, that would be quite something. But that'd be amazing. Come on then. Don't you? But you can head your bat. Yeah. And you can say, OK, we are going to have daffodils this festival. You have six pots out there. Right. Maybe they should be planted now because now is the time that you plant them. Right, right, right. With the daffodils. So at least they're at the possibility of blooming or people see them popping up and go, oh, well, they're just not bloom yet. But a conspicuous absent, there's a difference between something starting to grow and it just being dirt. And see me if I'm going to go to a daffodil festival. I want to see an actual living plant someplace. Sure. Well, we didn't discuss the location for this final event. I don't know that it would be here at City Hall. No, but even so you're saying you want to... I feel like I'm arguing about where to put daffodils, but you're saying you want it all around town. Right. So what does it matter if you plant two pots here or you take the time to plant it in a strip on 141 or on Staprid Road? Just... I don't know. To me, you run a lot of risk of people poking fun at you for the plants being absent. Okay, so then what are you? So what I'm saying is that they need to be planted. If the city is going to commit to this daffodil days as being a festival. You want the city to commit to planting them? The time to plant them is now. Right. to plant them is now. So if they have it in their budget, that maybe they should plant some daffodils somewhere in the city. And then maybe you can reach out to John's Creek beautification and Maryland Davis and say where were the community digs that you had and sprinkle whatever the city does, maybe away from what they do. I just think to enhance absolutely the atmosphere to have an actual live plant would be nice. Sure. I just, I feel like you're saying I'm wondering though, again, even if it's in a big parking lot, that even if it's in a big, let's say, central location new town or somewhere like that, it's going to be hard to have a planted area that's there. I think you've got to bring them in for that as that's maybe part of the crops or the things that are around there because I do something I hear what you're saying, but if you put them in We put them in pots and then have them and bring the pots in but again if you go to let's say new town park Where would you plant them where you have the festival around them? Just look I'm thinking just logistically Yeah, I guess one of the things in differently, hold this. Sorry, is that I have looked at this the last couple weeks and there's a lot of areas in town that are doing planting right now. There's churches and different groups and they're doing. They've actually asked for volunteers to come plant and help and do this stuff, which is great, but they're all over the city. Right? And we would, I don't know if we have an event where they planted now, or maybe we give a map of like, hey, if you wanna go see them, here's where to go. Cause I hear you, I just, I'm thinking logistically, if we did it in a big parking lot, even if we planted today, we're not gonna see them. So how do you bring that? Once again, it doesn't have to be exact. It would be nice to have them at the event. But it's also nice to have them just in the medians or and when you say plant at Newtown Park, there's thousands of bolts planted at the Veterans Memorial so that if you have it at Newtown, they're already there. So you wouldn't really want to plant more more daffodil bolts there but on the most traveled roads there are medians that people can see daffodils. I don't think it's a logistical problem. I was thinking you wanted them at the festival you just want more visible around. Well I want them more visible around the city if it's supposed to be a citywide Davidell days and you're right to plant them in pots and then bring them to the festival that might you know as you walk in maybe if there's an entrance that would be beautiful to have just a little touch or something that's a live that has to do with the Davidell. Yeah and I think one of the questions I had coming into this, especially for this one, is again, if you go out there and look, there's so many areas, so many different people doing different things. How do you coordinate that altogether so that you're getting that city? I hadn't seen before, but one church is saying that, oh yeah, the plan was to make John's Creek the Daffodil City. I hadn't heard that before. Never even heard that before this even last month. So if that's the case to your point, do we have to think bigger than just the festival and look more broadly? And all I was just trying to say is if you want to commit to something like that, it's not like you can plant a bulb in January and think it's going to bloom in March. So that's I just want to bring it to your attention that it's beginning of November. If you're going to plant something, it needs to be done in the next five weeks. Right. Question. I wonder what the economic value just overall utility we might find with planting perhaps mature death ideals for this run and maybe we could look this is your area so I'm asking truth. When you say mature death, I guess perhaps maybe already kind of bloomed around the time. I know that bulbs come in different sizes, right? I'm going to. Yes. So they come in different salt sizes. And so sometimes the very small bulbs don't bloom the first year. So if you go with a hybrid bulb that is larger, it's designed to make bloom that next year and make a significant size bloom. Anything else on this particular event? Whatcha got? So what house would you need on this from a structure standpoint to get to, I guess, the next step? Well, nothing yet. We need council approval. So that's the next step. And hopefully we'll have that by the end of the month. And then what will happen from there is probably a campaign to get partners involved, meaning restaurants, art center, six bridges, whoever, you know, all these different groups and say, hey, we really want to create community with this. That's the point of it being a week long event is getting as many people from every aspect of the city involved in this week long celebration of hope, strength, community support, and survivorship, and whether that's whatever that is and all the things we mentioned and how can your group get involved? Hey, schools, how would you like to be involved? And so it would be reaching out to everyone in our sphere of influence and asking them, hey, here's kind of the theme of this particular week in March and how do you see yourself being involved and what could you do? And from there? We create a Schedule of some sort and then it's it's planning, you know, then it's logistically planning the event on that Saturday and you know, there's that's about planning so and getting people involved in that way too. I guess to Lynn's point should this plan include a city commitment to plant something somewhere? Or is that so the timing issue that we're going to run into is this will not go before Council until the end of November, which is outside of the planting time frame. But do you put it in there for next year so that hey, if this is really we're planning for sure. I mean, and part of part of this budget or part of whatever is. Well, my hope would be that at this event in March, we sell enough bulbs and people are invested in and we've educated them about planting and dig days in the fall. I already know there's one coming up this weekend. I want a couple of weeks that The whole community instead of like hey, I didn't know this was something John's Creek did that more and more and more people are now aware And so it's not just the city paying for all these bulbs and doing the work with that. It's a full community involvement Bush but it's a full community involvement, push. That's what I was driving at. You know, I was wondering if we, just for this time, because of the time constraints, if we, it's a production, it's pageantry, right? So if we were to plant already bloomed daffodils so that we wouldn't have the embarrassment of having daffodil days with no daffodils. Yeah. I just don't... I'm going to watch a YouTube and come back better informed. Okay. A potted plant from the store. You can dig bulbs up and then replant them the next year. If they're in the pots, yes. And in the ground they'll naturalize. They'll grow extra bulbs and then you can come in and divide them and make more. Well, I don't really know anything about the affidels, I'll be honest with you. Do they have to be planted a certain time of the year? Obviously, and then they need to be planted now is the time of the year that okay okay that answered my question thanks. So I kind of see it I mean I don't I hear what you're saying everybody saying of course I don't see it that it would be an embarrassment to do a daffodil days this year in 2023. Okay, we're not next year in 2023 because you got to start somewhere. So we've got to, and if 2023 is just about a where it's, we're not just bringing awareness to a flower. We're bringing awareness to the story of the flower in the city, which we agreed with, strength, hope, community support and survivorship. And so, yeah, we want the flowers, that's what the flowers represent. And we want them all over the city. But if we use this time in March to communicate the importance of that flower and the story of that flower so that in fall of 2023, we have a huge push and that there are dig days all over the city. Then we've got to start somewhere. So, you know, I can't go to council in the next five weeks and ask for money to plant flowers. We don't have, there's lots of reasons why. The one that we're just on there agenda and to get it done, just time frame wise can't happen. So I think that we just spend 2023 establishing something and getting something started. And I think in there are daffodils planted at the Wallet Heels. There's a thousand being planted at Johns Creek United Methodist this weekend. There's another thousand being planted at another church on the 19th. So there's they're all over the place. So I think that people will see that and we can even tell people go to the Wallet heels and look at the amazing 2000 we're just planted last weekend right. So so I'm not as worried about that other than we'll just we got to start somewhere. And I think that this instead of like oh we can't do it because we didn't plan on yet then. That's not what I was saying. I know, I know. Yeah, yeah. What I was just saying is if it was easy and if it was feasible it would benefit the celebration. Sure. To have a plant planted at City Hall. Right. Just at different, three different places around the city. So could we, Devin, to your your point could we go to Walmart and buy them in a pot and And and there they are. I mean, they're already I mean, you're not sick in the Walmart pot there But my guess is that the daffodils for hope group probably has extra. I'm not part of that first I don't know, but my guess is that they have extra bolts too that that could be purchased or because and put in. It's just a logistical thing. It's just because I thought from the last meeting that we had some money to work with. So spending $100 on bolts wouldn't. on old. Well then it's so it has to be approved formally and then it's manpower and who's doing it and and all that so yeah it's just I mean great in theory I hear you. Everything is great. Yes. But let me, you know, let me throw it around and see if there's something I could do to get it fast-tracked. But I think that I don't know. I'm not. Yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know what. I mean, I feel like I'm not sure. I don't know what. I mean, I feel like I'm not sure. I don't know Yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know what I mean, I feel like they plant things that are already blooming. I don't know. I actually have no idea. But that's let me just look into that and see if there's something we could do. So you're saying plant them and some meds and somewhere so you're driving in town and you see them. Even if they might be planted at the base of the gateway markers. Is there three of those? Two of those? Two. Okay, let me just... I'll ask. Is there anything else? Any other comments, thoughts, ideas? About this, I just want to make sure that the vision is being communicated how you guys want it. It's incredibly thorough and thank you for putting our ideas together and talking with everything else you do all the time you know. Well you're welcome. I was just curious where would the plan come from where the bulbs would come from in the future, and who plants them? Is that just gonna be up to the city, or is that up to the people? Kind of bold planting and such, I think is out of our realm of responsibility here, but there is a group already in the city that does that, Aphrodite Hills for Hope, which is a branch already in the city that does that Aphrodite for Hope which is a branch of John's Creek beautification so they have already been they've been pushing this for a couple of years and that's who's plan who plan the dig day a couple weeks ago and you know that's who's plan the dig days that are coming up also. So they're kind of our source for that. Anything else? But yeah. Thank you. Yeah? I think so too. And the more I think about the event, the final event, I'm just get excited about it. I did some searching this week and found a company that rents those red and white carnival tents and, you know, and having groups own this group owns that don't take and this group owns the ring toss. You know, it's just this old school, school think elementary school field day kind of stuff, but on a little bit of on a bigger scale, I found a bounce house that was just a bounce house, but on the outside it looks like it's got a giant roller coaster and a carousel and just some really fun. It's a midway amusement. I mean in the end it's just a bounce house, but but it looked fun on the outside. So there are lots of really fun things we can do to make this a fun event. And really just bringing people together it'll be a beautiful day, I believe, in March. It'll be a gorgeous spring day. And just a good time to get the whole community out and just celebrating and having fun breaking out of hibernation really. So that is that. So if y'all are cool on that then I'll proceed with getting that before council. And we are just plugging away here tonight. My last new business is in February well. In February I cannot be at the meeting on the ninth so I wanted to move it to the second and I just need to know if anybody Can we confirm just the meetings between now and then? I have a problem with that at all. I just want to make sure we've got the right ones for. Uh, yep. Can you do that? I will, my calendar is clear now. Keep it clear. Yeah, my calendar is only. and just clear and I'll be clear for that. Yeah, my calendar is on. So your December meeting would be the eighth. And then your January meeting is on the 12th. Perfect. Okay. Thank you. So then moving the February meeting from the ninth up to the second week earlier. That worked for everybody. I need to make a motion. Or do we just move it? I'll just put a calendar before you at your December meeting and you can adopt it for 2023. That's the best way to handle that. So I'll just reflect that you've agreed to move the February date to the first Tuesday, first Thursday of the month. One last question, that's okay. What's the most appropriate way to have something considered for one of our meetings? Yeah, because as we speak, sometimes it triggers ideas of things that we can do together, and I just want to keep a sense of schedule and that. Yeah, if you will just email Stacy or I, we can make sure it gets on the agenda. So we publish a week in advance, so like I published this last Thursday. So, you know, whenever you have that item, and I do appreciate the way you phrase that question, because the stickler in me, you're not supposed to talk about things and aren't advertised, because it's a public meeting, so it is hard to add just sort of items on the fly. So if you think of anything outside of the meeting, Definitely give us a heads up on that. Yes ma'am. I try to put other business a little bit on here to give you a little bit of leave room. A leeway. Earlier I spoke and I realized I probably spoke out of turn and I thought, well, what's the best way to do that? You know? You're good. All right. We're good. Yeah. Do you have any other business receiving? Is there anything anyone who needs to talk about? Nothing for me. Is this providing for specific reasons just to make sure that we saw it? Yeah. I think it's really neat. Okay. It was brought to my attention today. This supplement that was in the Atlanta Business Chronicle went out to their whole subscriber base and I think it's a great thing for everybody to know that's out there and if you don't already know the information in here, it's really exciting stuff going on in our city. So I'm just proud of it. I had nothing to do with it. I just think it's really neat. Where would you get this normally? In the business chronicle? Atlanta Business Chronicle. It was a supplement and included supplement. I'm sure that happened to. Did you jump? OK. So is this every month it's in there or something? No, this was just this special October 21st or 27th. Gotcha. Yeah, so it just came out. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, I'll be putting this. Yeah, I'll read through everything. Did that today? I thought it was just awesome. Who put this together? Our economic development director, Randall Tusson, and our communications department, and the mayor's quoted in there and yeah, so. Makes you pretty proud of your city. How do we do that more? I guess maybe that's my question. Um, money? Yeah, I don't know. No, it's, I mean, it was obviously a concentrated efforto you talked to Randall. He would love to talk to you about about that as our economic development director. You don't have any other business? Nothing. Devon, you want to join the meeting? No, not good. Do you have anyone to join meeting? No, not good. Call to adjourn. All right. Thanks guys. Good meeting.
