Okay, let's bring the door to order, please. Let's stand for the opening prayer in the pledge of allegiance. We'll be in car back from surgery. I'm going to listen to the prayer. And we have to say that the Vagrant has prepared. Please, our most gracious Heavenly Father Lord, we just thank you for this day. Lord, we thank you for this country where we are free together and make decisions for our own community and more that we're still able to offer our prayer to you. Father, we would ask your guidance in your direction this morning on the decisions that are made by this court and Lord, for those that are in leadership positions, just guide them and always keep them aware of the needs of the community but more than that, the need of this country to protect ourselves and Father, please watch over our soldiers both at home and abroad and Lord Jesus, keep them safe and take you in Laquil. All of these things, yes, in Jesusquille. I'll be these things in June 9th. I've played the leaders to the flag of the United States of America into the Republic for which the same is one nation under God, indivitable, with liberty and justice for all. Honor and protect, one and a half. I play the duties of the defense. One point on the ground. One and a half. All right, if the record all members of the court are present with the exception of Commissioner Dahl and Commissioner Metter, we need a most known agenda. Move. All in favor, see how? Commissioner Smith, what resolution this morning from Keaton McGurney County Beautiful? I think we have Terry Woodson here. You saw it, good morning. Good morning. Thank you all for having. Good morning. Good morning. Thank you all for having us this morning. I'm the chairman of Keep Montgomery County Beautiful Charlotte Harris. I have with me Terry Woodson. She's the vice chair of Keep Montgomery County Beautiful and our newest board member is Desiree Litzcomb and I'll talk about what she'll be doing in just a minute. I just wanted to give you a quick overview, very quick overview of what we've done in 2009. Talk a little bit about our plans for 2010 and then give you all each the poster that we have framed from our project. In 2009 we had our first annual volunteer appreciation dinner and we gave five awards in Montgomery to volunteers in Montgomery County. The Waste Reduction and Recycling Center award went to Suzanne Campbell. Liter Prevention went to Cheryl Myers. Judy Rose was given the beautification and community improvement award. Sylvia Wiggins was given the Volunteerism Award and the Precinct One Anti-Litter Program was given the Environmental Education Award. We are doing those again in February. We have our Volunteer doing those again in February. We have our volunteer appreciation dinner in February. And we are looking for nominations. We'll be sending on information about that shortly. So if you have people in your area that you think should be awarded locally in Montgomery County for their work with environmental and volunteer issues, please look for those nomination forms and send those in. We did our fifth adoptive spot project that We've done over the last four years that this one was done at the Maryland Edgar Park in Oak Ridge North the Intra we completely re-did the entrance to that park We we had our first we initiated our first grant program. We raised a thousand dollars in grant funds for from our first Plant sale we erased we sold plants they were they were raised $1,000 in grant funds from our first plant sale. We raised, we sold plants. They were black eyed Susan's and we raised $1,000. We've awarded one grant to an organization in Magnolia. We have a second application pending that is from Leadership Montgomery County, the class of 2010 that submitted a grant for a project they're doing. This is the poster from the first project. This artwork was done by a professional artist in Magnolia. The next project poster will be, the artwork has been done by a high school student. We started a contest for the artwork, opened all high school students in Montgomery County. We had about 15 submissions and it has with it a $500 scholarship. So a student in Montgomery ISD was the winner and she will be getting a $500 scholarship check at our volunteer appreciation dinner in February and her painting will be on our poster for 2010. And we're really excited about that. And if you know of anyone that's trying to do projects around Montgomery County, please let them know that we've got grant money available and we will be advertising that more and getting that out so we can give that money away. That's our goal. We've also provided a lot of educational information. We've been at various festivals and booths around giving out information about the recycling centers and litter prevention, that sort of thing. We've also developed a program that we've been presenting at the Academy of Life Long Learning with the Lone Star campuses. And we are broadening that. We've presented it to the library system in case they want to do some programs with us. Terry, myself and Glenn Buckley are the three people that present and we talk about different things, different issues in Montgomery County related to the environment. We're happy to talk with you all about that or give that presentation anywhere you think that might be appropriate. We're really excited about Alliance. We have a five day to capo. So that is a service organization with two year colleges. And as you know, the Lone Star College system has a huge presence in Montgomery County. Desiree is the president of the chapter in the Kingwood branch, and she's in New Cane. She's joined our board. She's going to be working with, we hope, Commissioner in precinct four commissioner Ryan Reinhardt to get some things going in the schools there related to education and programs. And so she'll be contacting him in the beginning of 2010 to set up some appointments. In 2010, we're going to be continuing our volunteer, our volunteer appreciation dinner in February. We will be awarding grants. We will be doing our plant sale to raise more money for our grant funds. We are going to be seeking grants and we are going to be working hopefully with Juanita Stanley in order to find some grants that might be appropriate for us to fund an executive director position. Our organization has grown enough that we're ready for, at least a part-time executive director, who can help us move our projects forward even more. And we want to further the development of our lives with Phi Theta Kappa throughout the county to leverage those college students to work with elementary and high school students and junior high school students and other organizations. We are hoping to be able to expand our educational programs to do more to educate people about the issues in Montgomery County related to litter and recycling those sorts of things. That's what, that's all I have. I just, I think each of you has one of these. I'm going to put this over by Commissioner Metters off desk because that's his and we hope that we wanted to present these to you and appreciation for your support of our organization through the years. Thanks very much. Thank you Charlotte. Great job. We appreciate all the work you all do. Thank you all for coming today. Yes. Right here. Zero. What's your proclamation or just information to give us? It's information and to provide you information to give us? Okay. Great, thank you. I'm not asking for any funding at this point because in each one of these cases there's going to be some dot time as well as some time that I believe for people that are retiring that before I can replace them. So I think I can absorb that amount of dollars that's in it. And if not, I can come back to you at a later time. You've got any questions. I'll be glad to answer them. All the papers. Yeah. I was in the past. You think you. Auditor. I do have a request for funding during my budget hearings. There was a position that was approved. It was not funded. Move, move, continue. You've had issues on the O's in 2006 for improvement at the animal shelter, and this would be appropriate if you wanted to have that done. Sounds fair to me. Thank you very much, Jim. Oh, thanks. Thank you. Kelly, it's her name. In 16A, I'm asking to excuse that resolution, wing aviation has, as you know, an ongoing need for chief Lonesar Executive Airport and they desire to sublease one hanger partial sublease to the Department of Homeland Security and under their lease the county has to approve any sublease in this resolution just states that we do approve it and there's no reasons to deny it. Move. Second. All in service. Yeah. Move. Second. All by injection. Move. So, all the tariffs here? Item 16C is deferred. In 17A, we have to to approve an agreement for disbursement of $120,000 in CDBB home funds to Bridgewood Farm Inc. The purpose of the replat is to combine lots into one and then remove internal building lines and easements. The deed restrictions allow for this. I've received some public response, but I believe that the concerns have been resolved. The plot itself is not ready for approval but the public hearing will satisfy the local government group.
