Music Good morning and welcome to our live broadcast here on Cox Cable City Screen 12 of the 42nd Annual Independence Day parade here in Lyme, a beautiful downtown Fairfax Virginia. I'm Luke Katz from 97.1 Wash FM Radio. And once again, for our second year together, it's the Linda Beringhouse Highlander Wave the Flag. Wave the Flag. I want to start off with a pop quiz for you today. Oh, no. Do you know what birthday this is for America? How old is America today? Ah, it's hot top. No, no. 200. Actually, 200. 232 years old or should say young. Young. And we're thrilled to be part of all the celebrations here in the city of Fairfax today. We've got lots of things going on. Understand officially the parade has begun. Yes, it has begun. The fire trucks have let the chambers road site where they set up. Right, and they're all set to go. We also are not alone today in our telecast here on Cable TV. We happen to have a Wash FM's Marilyn Thompson, who is joining us as she's out on the streets right now. Hi, Marilyn. Hey, Marilyn. Hey, Lou and Linda. Happy Fourth of July. I've got my flag too, and I just glad to know there's somebody older than me to come to you over 200 years. Happy Fourth of July everybody, it's so great to be in a typical American town, although nothing typical about Fairfax, I think it's a beautiful town, and it's going to be a wonderful day for the parade. I don't care about these raindrops, we're going to hopefully get rid of those very shortly. Got some really wonderful people watching the parade there, at least getting ready to watch it. The Shabba's family from a NASA is joining us with their two adorable daughters. Hi girls, how are you? What's your name? My name. Yeah, Bee, and how about you? Bella. And you got them ready. I would assume you started shopping for these outfits. They're so colorful and ready for the Fourth of July and they're red, white, and blue. They even have, you notice they're little tattoos on their arms. That's really cool. And they're red nails to match. And you've got the hair. Everything's going on. What are you, what's going to be your favorite part of the parade you think today? The horses. The horses. How about you, Daddy? Horses! Everybody's looking for the horses! Me too! I like horses and dancers, and we need a poos going to come by. Aren't you excited about that, O'Tigger? Yeah! Okay, great! Well, we're all set for the parade. Very shortly. We're going to wait for those horses. They'll be coming by. Alright! That's a Lou and Linda. We'll be talking to lots more folks here today. And we're going to be glad you got the comments. So thank you. That's great. Thank you very, very much. Maryland Thompson from 97.1 wash FM is going to be with us throughout the next couple of hours, getting all the action from the street this morning. And there's going to be plenty of action certainly in the parade. I understand we have different balloons and things like that this year. Yeah, we do. We have Elmou and we have a fourth of July hat that really looks special and a bunch of stars. Well, each year, I'm sure you may be aware of this, but each year there's a competition to come up with a theme for the parade. And over the years, they have just had some wonderful themes. And this year's winners Gary Joyner and the theme is bridged to a better future. When I first saw the t-shirts with the motor and the look really, really cool, tell us exactly how the contest works with the theme. And I understand it always involves kids. Oh, yeah, it always involves kids. The City of Airfax Fourth of July Parade Committee gets together and they play out a question or a questionnaire. A questionnaire, an entry questionnaire. And it goes to all the grammar school kids six grades six grade and below I winner this year obviously was from Obviously our winner this year bridge to better future was by Gentlemen from St. Leo's Catholic Church here in St. Leo's school and here in the city and It's always a tough decision because there's always some really fascinating titles or themed ideas that come up. And the committee always has trouble trying to figure out exactly who to choose. It sometimes gets really, it's really gets sometimes very tough some years. Nigeri is going to be in the parade I assume with a little later on. Yeah, he'll be in the parade a little later on as I think contest winner. Great. Now, you know, every parade needs a grand marshal. And I understand it's always sometimes a tough decision, but you always come through every year and have a grand marshal. I want you to tell us about the Independence Day celebration and how the committee comes up with a grand Well, typically the city prefers, or the people on the Parade Committee and the city prefer that our grand marshal is a city resident and that somehow or other the grand marshal provides something unique to the city, whether it's as an active city participant in city committees or provide something unique to the area. And this year's winner, our chosen person is Admiral Patrick and Walsh who will be featured here in the parade. He's going to be here today, so will he be in his costume? He's going to be in the uniform. It believe I saw him earlier. He's in the corner. He's beautiful. It is great to have Admiral Walsh as our grand marshal this year. And he has got quite a background to be graduated with honors from the Jesuit College Preparatory School down in Dallas, Texas. As a Navy aviator, he began operational flying with the Golden Dragons of a tax squadron 1 and 192. I was deployed in the Indian Ocean. He also commanded the gunslingers of strike fighter Squadron 105 permission since the port of operations Southern watching so far and besides doing things of course for the Navy He has been a special assistant to the director of the office of management and budget as a White House fellow and Linda I also understand he chaired the Department of Leadership, Ethics, and Law at the US Naval Academy. We're thrilled, certainly, to have him. Absolutely thrilled to have him. He's a Grand Marshal this year. Now, we also have an honorary Grand Marshal too, right? Yeah, and that's usually given to somebody who has represented the city in various ways. And it's typically somebody who's active locally. This year's Grand Marshal is Ellie Schmidt. She joined the parade and started working on the parade committee in 1976. And it has been active in the parade committee and in the parade ever since. I can only say that she's been involved in all phases of the parade, including Chairman at one point. I don't believe she's been involved in all phases of the parade and include chairman at one point. I don't believe she's missed a committee because there are dozens of committees inside the parade committee. And personally, I love knowing how she's just an energetic, wonderful person to know. I know, and she's certainly occupied that chair for several years. She occupied this chair to be fired and she's might take me over. Go hosting the annual City of Fairfax parade for the fourth of July for many many years and it's great to see her She's gonna be in the parade of course. Yes She's riding in her own car. Oh, she's not no. She's not driving her own No, we have somebody driving her car for her so she can get off and watch the rest of the parade in the Official reviewing sand now understand besides our parade today and the fireworks later tonight there are a bunch of other things going on here. We have open houses throughout the day at the Museum and the Visitor Center, the Ligato School House on Shingridge Road is also open and the right-clap Allison House is also providing tours. The details are the tours are in our official program and they're available on the city's website. Also, don't forget about the old fashioned Fireman's Day events, which is always a huge, huge thing here in the city of Fairfax. It's being held at Fire Station 3 after the parade. Here, take a look and see what that's all about. It's a whole lot of fun, too. Mm-hmm. a lot of fun too. I'm going to go to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. I'm going to the beach. Okay. Okay. Oh, I just wanted to mention this and you didn't show this tonight. It starts at a roughly seven o'clock down at Fairfax High School in the athletic field. They'll be food and entertainment and there will be kids games and of course the fireworks. Oh and they always have a great fireworks display and there's some means possible fireworks down on the parade right right now back to Wash FM's Maryland Thompson. Okay thanks Lou and Linda you know I people come from all over the area for this parade because it's such a great parade but I wanted to talk to some real Fairfax residents and find out what they love so much about Fairfax. Hi there, how are you? What's your name? Patricia. And your name? Barb. Now how long have you lived in Fairfax? About 11 years now. And you just love it? I love Fairfax. I'm right behind City to touch you in a little bit, okay? Back to Lewin Linda. Well, this is the beginning of our parade with our police officers on motorcycle. I don't know what you call that. It's a careful drill. They're just kind of revving up the crowd and then of course that we have our first honor guard. City of Fairfax Police Honor Guard, right? City of Fairfax Police Honor Guard. They're still doing their drill out here on Armstrong. It's always interesting to see how much time they spend practicing that kind of things that they don't run over toes. Those are big bikes by the way. I mean these are not motor scooters. No they're not filled. I'm the one you see later on. You can see the honor guard walking up on strong street right in. The honor guard is coming. This is one of those drills they practice. You got to figure their arms get a little tired. I'm back at the parade right today. Yeah, it's a little over a mile and a half. I'm not going to hoard right, I believe. But they lead off the parade each and every year. They have the city of our house. It's their shop. They get to do that. Got the city parade. Sleece vehicle coming by. Uh-huh. Got the city parade. Sleece Vierpa coming by. Uh-huh. Here they are. And that will be our chief of police. I'm sure. Looks like it. We are also coming up. We have the joint color guard. She'll see right after the police chief gets fired, there's a... Well, I will tell you, we ask every year and you always come through for us folks is that when they come by and you see a mask before donations whether they're doing the house to house, door to door thing or at various charity events make sure you give them what you can because it is so nice to know that they are here backing you up 24-7. And don't forget these are the guys that will be running the firemen's the firemen event found on university at one o'clock this afternoon. They've got all kinds of trucks all the latest apparatus. What do you say about fire trucks and volunteer fire department? You know it's just amazing that the work that they do. Oh, they do a lot of work. They raise a lot of funds. They have, they run a pancake breakfast to raise funds. They just are very much part of the fabric of this city. And they always look forward to being a part of the business. I know she's always involved too in February, the child was festival. Oh, the child was festival. She's been on that parade, thatocate Committee for a number of years. She's been a president of the colonists. She's just been a very active part of this community. We're starting to see some members now of a Fairfax High School marching band making their way up our parade around this morning. The rebels. The rebels. It's great to have them here. We're here every year. It's wonderful to have them along. And when they're not here, they're doing all kinds of wonderful things in the community too. They've won all kinds of awards, so they came in second place in class 3A for the WUS-BBA Mid-Atlantic Regional. So they are... Oh, yeah. It's our bear, our bloodler. And his family? The mayor was elected to the City Council back in 1982 and has served three terms in the 80s. And it's great to have him as a representative of the city of Fairfax. Yeah, they'd be the bridge out of the books and the subjects that they take. Now you're about to see the children of the light dancers. Let's tell you a little bit about them. They're a Christian non-profit group that helps kids grow in their knowledge and love of the guy, and in their capacity to love others. The children of the light dancers in their capacity to love others. The children of life dancers are trained to reach out to folks with a message of hope and encouragement to their dancing and interaction with their audience. Sort of a freestyle kind of thing. That's music. They've been in the parade for 13 years now. And again this is a group that goes to alien nursing homes for retirement communities and very churches too, to help out for various fundraisers and events. The children of light dancers, part of our 42nd annual Independence Day parade here in the City of Perfax, on Lu Pat's and Washington, M. Reddia along with Linda. And we also have Marilyn Thompson from the Reddia Station here today. Thank you for joining us on our cox scables city screen 12. And if you're watching on the web, congratulations. You figured out how to find us. That's right. That's quite a group, they've got a lot of records. A lot of kids. I'm going to come in. I've got something in London that's been making it way through on-premise. I've come in. I've come in. I've come in. The younger records of this show making their way through on-board school. Upcoming is our City of Fairfax Regional Library. They have usually, yep, they're doing it again. I'm going to have the book cards, the book cards. The book cards, drill team. The drill team. The book cards drill team, one of my favorites every year. This is their 25th anniversary and they've recently opened a new building, moved to a new building on only highway and north, and they're just thrilled with their new house. It'll be interesting to see how they decide to perform this year. Check out these movements now. They've been practicing. You can tell. You can tell they've been. That's quite a formation there. This is the 25th anniversary of this dual teams event. And believe it or not I recognize some of these most of these women I got the movements going on. Oh, they've got the moves. They have also participated in Trumblin' course, Roast National Parade. Here's going by, I have a little bit of experience with that too. Now, a little boob grass coming away. Skystones, Skystones, a group that's. Yeah, sky stones. Sky stones are grouped. It's been in the parade for 21 years straight. And they're always welcomed and looked forward to by the parade committee. They've been at various festivals all over the area, including as always, West Virginia and in Pennsylvania. They're kind of a stable winner. The beginning of the Conquena Division. The Con Shriners. He is Shriners. Fairfax have a horrendous impact on this parade. As a matter of fact, they were one of the first groups to sign up in the parade when it started 41 years ago. And they had been a staple of this parade with everything from the color guard which is marching band. And the marching band? And it's just a terrific thing. And what kind of dice for children is an agent? I know they have a great slogan and I want to share with you. It's called, no one stands so tall as when he's used to help a cripple child. We give you some idea of what they do. Well they're responsible for the Shriner hospitals all over the country. There you're seeing one on a Segway. Huh? It's a Saw Segway. There you go. There's our Segway guy. See, Shriner's a high tech. Pretty cool. Maybe I can get him to see if we can have a use of it. Happy Club. Ah, there's the Campbell head. It looks real, but of course it's not. It's not. He's cool with the Luzrail. I'm going to put it up for the Luzrail. I'm going to send you a little bit of a letter there. Give these Shriners a float there and a band. And of course we have one of our musical units. She is a Schreiner's performing there. She is a beautiful, every year. Well look at that. Do you remember that old Volkswagen? Yeah, it's called the thing. The thing. Oh, I forgot this one. It was called the thing. It's called the theme. The theme, oh I forgot this one, it was called the theme. It's called the theme. Okay, the key to the director staff writing in the thing, there's a good shot of the theme. It's a 74-volt slide, it's called the theme. It's called the theme. Now here we go. Now we're getting into some of the clowns. I got a motorcycle scooter with a crazy straight pants. Look at that old classic car too. Yeah. It's called the clown car. It's obviously called the clown car. The clown car. And then of course we have two of the keen folks run. Little bicycle. That was like a 1994, I think. Something like that. Look at that itty bitty bike. Out. Out, just right. My knees are the handlebars, these practice. Yeah, you're seeing some really classic cars here with the Shriners. Of, uh, this? It was a 1994 or 1924, that's coming down to your seat. Yeah, it says 1994 on the side. 1994, right there you can see it. Look at the condition of that thing. Incredible. They called them Woody's too, didn't they? Yeah. Nice thing in 19, it's like an old mobile. Yeah. It's just a mouse in 1930, old mobile? Yeah, I think so. But I bring all of these cars out for this event. And then we've got, that's the old thing. And then of course you have behind this classic 1930s old that you're seeing right now. You see a Chevrolet 2003 Chevy SSR right there, one of the Chevy SSRs, General Motors and the next class. And you're seeing the machine unit playing bagpipes and drums. These guys are called the Highlanders and wonder where I... Once again, thank you for joining us here on City Screen 12. Talks table for the City of Fairfax 42nd Annual Fourth of July. Independent fake rage. This group is called the World Billies. They've got a 1958 Dodge Flatbed truck and it's dragging something. Oh, a bell. Yeah, we got a Corvette coming up on strong. Uh-huh. This is the guy who leads the mini cars. Oh, I see. Oh, yeah. And he's been to just like the mini cars. This is always a crowd favorite here. It operated for the fourth of the drive. I hope they're watching toes. These guys go curb to curb. There are 10 mini cars and they're supposed to be the mini car just supposed to be the smaller version of what you're seeing right now that makes for a veteran group. All again part of the training riders participation. Oh, they're making them make from speed up here flying along. The question is, when the hell did it squeeze into those little cars and able to walk when they get out? My knees would hurt, but they must be used to it. Oh, I'll say somebody misguided me. They're doing their... They're doing their... The thing here? Their little drag race. And their... drill. You really can't appreciate how fast, but when you're watching on the stream but you really can't appreciate how fast these cars can go. I mean, these things really skill. I heard one of them in the parking lots in the back earlier this morning, he actually thrilled his tires. And I couldn't figure out how that worked, but the good skill is tires. I want to remind you too, there's lots more things going on on this portion of July holiday here in our nation's capital and more specifically in the city of Fairfax, you have the evening fireworks display at Fairfax High School within the way tonight at 7 o'clock, sponsored by our friends at the Virginia Lottery, helping Virginia's public schools in the field that have them as part of our facilities. And performing this evening also will be of course our cover bands that is Robert Perry's heads, as well as the Senior Fairfax band, which provide entertainment. And we have for kids down in that, we have a whole host of child programs, face paintings, the green tosses, that kind of thing planned for the kid down in the choir, out down at the heel, too. Now we have it looks like more Tina a chance to chat with wash FM Merlin Thompson is along the parade ride. How have I I bear on and I am so honored to be here with the grand Marshall of today's parade He is Admiral Patrick T. Walsh. Thank you so much for being with us today Well, thank you. Thanks for the honor. I know that you are a perfect resident. I am. We've been here since the summer of 2001, and this is one of the first events that we've gained to. We moved to. Admiral, you are Vice Chief of Naval Operations. I know that you probably can't tell us in one sentence what you really did, but could you just give us a quick synopsis of what you job in tail? Really involved in the day-to-day operation of the Navy. So that involves planning and programming, that involves the day-to-day operations and the work and preparation for the development of our program that we present to Congress. Well, you know, today the veterans and military got such a great reception and maybe you have key words you'd like to say about our troops on the holiday? terrific The troops get a great reception what I'm very very grateful for is to be here in the city of Fairfax Because we've been here since the summer 2001 and we know how much the world has changed since then I've been to the Pacific I've been to the Middle East for an assignment that lasted over a year and a half and my family's been able to stay here So we've always been very well received very well taken care of by the people of Fairfax and we're so grateful for it Well, and I think they showed you how much they appreciate you today So thank you so much for joining us. I have people worth it July Thank you. Thank you. I'm called for it for the world back to you. Lue and Linda. Thank you Maryland Thompson from Wash FM Radio along with our Grand Marshal Admiral Walsh today. It's great to have him. He's so nice to have him and it's nice to have him and his family here in the city. And we know they're participating. It looks like we have a special group. The KepparRoller, Santiago unit. This is, I believe, their second year in this parade, seems to recall them. They created their dance to mock the slave owners and this goes back to when the stand is and the Portuguese did all that stuff in South America. And we're very happy to have them. It's always interesting to have this dance at colorful costumes. It's part of what a parade is all about. Yeah. And they have learned some of Wards as well. In fact, they came in the first place in the marching unit in our parade last year here in the city of Fairfax. They have a lot of sun, piago. I'd say the rest of the movement might spend as she's in jibberish. No, it's nine. It's said that we better, but it's not. Oh, look at that little girl in her arms. but it's not. Oh, look at that little girl on her out there. Yes. The group was founded by US citizens from Bolivia in 1974. And for the sole purpose of making sure they're here to stick with their children. So they brought the costumes and music, the dance moves, as you can see, they're kind of similar to their previous groups. Right. But that's because it's similar culture. And it's marvelous to watch these guys. It's great to see so many varieties of marching bands and on this quarter to ripe parade. And the diversity is just great. Diversity is what makes the U.S. one of these. You bet. Oh, they're approaching towards the end of the parade route and they're still going strong, aren't they? Ah, it's amazing. They've learned the entire parade route. By the way, each one of these costumes which you're seeing on the screen are handmade. My hand made. And it's kind of the purpose of the group is to get their kids involved in their culture and keep them off of drugs and off to streets. And it obviously is working. It's for this bunch. There's more than a thousand on their... on their... On their... On their... On their boots. There you see some representatives from the Italian Heritage Wives. The world is the sun's the only in America. The second year that has been involved with our course one of their active members is also on the parade committee. I'm journal That's a cute little wagon I got old 4 D-bird there. That's a 52, a 56, I think. And these guys... No, probably, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever. I'm too poor. I think a 65 Ford Mustang there. Uh-huh. And both of them, frankly, the next one is also for Mustang, but it's convertible. And that's a 65 Mustang convertible. These are from Jerry Atkins. Atkins, Franklin. Now, Atkins. And you're seeing the Knights of Columbus, the father of Maloney Assembly, these gentlemen are at St. Wheels Church down the road and all the highway and are 4th degree knights. Those chef-hoes, as they call them, they don't call them cats or hats, are part of their regalia. And following them we have the Northern Virginia The DC area is premier Irish pipe band. When the 1983, a setback is County Fire Fire. They're making a way up on to long, dude. They consider themselves the oldest and continuous public safety bagpipe banjo in the area. Wow. And they've been here in operate for 24 years. They must like our parade. We get a lot of creepy customers. They sound great, too. They do sound good too. Doing God Bless America. They're asking representatives in the Fairfax County Professional Firefighters and Pheorometics. Who, if you need them, is there for you? And one of them is downmation. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire dogs. Fire Now nation! Oh, about to light up the kid's faces here. More fire trucks from Fairfax County, Fire and Rescue. I don't forget about the old-fashioned Fireman's event happening today at 1230 along University Drive. All kinds of wonderful Firefighter competition, food, beverages games. We hold out a lot of fun. We're just watching the other trucks. They go by and do their siren. They shine these things up and get them all ready too. Oh yeah. Some of these trucks will be seen later at that fireman's events. It's nice to know that they are here helping out over one million Oh, you got the truck? Ladder truck? Ladder truck? Yeah. That's going to be really cool for the kids to be sitting in there. I'm trying to ask it. Probably protecting and serving our country. sitting there. I'm trying to ask it. Probably protecting and serving our community here in Fairfax County. Fairfax County fire and rescue department. I see another marching band making his way up. make him as well. The Dunbar Senior High School they in called the Crimson Tide marching with pride. They're from Washington DC of course. And they're believing this is their second year here at the parade and energy. I'm jealous. I have no news. He's the damn participated in the 2006 Toyota Gator Bowl of Jacksonville for that. And one of this outstanding one line and one major award at that competition, so they're good. And we're glad to have them. I got some politicians making their way up here. Looks like friends up. This is the Fairfax United Methodist Church. They are walking in the parade and proving their proudly residing through the city of Surfect. They're responsible for missions and various functions that the city's involved in. And we now have the Noxville Horse Society from out there in Cliffs. Oh, you like you a little guy. Yeah. The Nove'sville Horror Society, by the way, is a service organization committed to the education and promotion of equestrian activities for the enjoyment and recreation of everybody who happens to live in Northern Virginia. And, uh, it's a little more society there. And if you'll notice all their pride in red light and blue Very cool. The blankets and various things are all and look at the shirt and the horses are fabulous. This group was formed back in 2001, January of 2001, basically first out of the Prince Blaine County area. They are a member of the Virginia Horde's Council, and also a member of the Virginia Department of Transportation adopt the highway program too. Which is always nice to see those signs that were being formed on the highways to get the claims. That was a little one right in that big word. Uh-huh. Hey, if she couldn't control it, that's all it counts. Look at the pros on stuff like that. The pros on the fair. And then of course there's the buck of the gate coming up. Oh yes. I see no horse with buckled all over her. Literally, I'm the stars on their necks. That's great. Love the sound of the horse. Let's get thank you for joining us. This is live coverage of the 42nd annual Independence Day parade here in the city of Fairfax on the city screen 12 top hot table. Folks are taking your break there in front of the reviewing stand. Don't they have the ice cream thing going on today? I didn't hear that there was going to be a pop. It's a nice screen today. Not that I know of. I wouldn't heard that. Right now it's through to Washington, radio's Maryland Thompson. And you know, I did an unofficial poll and I believe these people may have traveled the furthest for today's parade. Where are you from? Brandon, South Dakota. And you get from there too? Yes. And what do you think is spray-paste? Fantastic. Beautiful. You have anything like this in South Dakota? Not that I'd venture, no. Well then you'll just have to come back every year. OK, back to you. We'll go and lend them. Thank you, Marilyn Thompson. South Dakota boy, that's a long way to come. So just have to plan their vacation next year here. You're good. Now let's look at some little cup scouts are down there. We have cup scouts and we grow scouts and I believe this is representative from Cup scouts, Cup scouts pack 1533, making your way up to the parade route. There you go. You got a cup of scouts and 15, 33, hold on the sign. Now you're saying the Tobas did not do that job? Of course, she got the costumes on these. Yes, aren't they fabulous? I wonder how heavy that head chair is. I wonder how heavy the head chair is. Oh, it's not light. Definitely not light, but very gorgeous. I'd like to thank Glenn Matter, the owner, for being part of our parade today. He's had it in 1985. Yes. Being part of our parade today, he's had it in 1985. American Heritage Girls, there you get a little shot of them. They got their band. This is the Rockville High School band. Rockville, it's about 30 miles more than this right there. They've come down to join us. This is their first year in our parade. We're happy to have someone along. This year of the Pacific Lake Lashers 2007, they'll rank 23rd and 30th on these coasts, which means they're up there. All of the teams. I got 10. Those are St. Pee-Os, contact. One, one, one, three. Riding in there, colorfully decorated. But they had front-putting headlamp. Yeah. Wagon together. To be young again. Oh, yes. Yeah, it looks like he's got a fish tank. There's that. Look at that fish. Look at him though. Could that be Nemo? Is that Nemo? Might be Nemo. Wow, that's great. I've never seen him before with my gun. Oh, I need to. I'm not seeing a film like that. You see again, representatives in the Paul's Church Volunteer Fire Department. Oh, it's Dorothy the Fish. Dorothy not Nemo. Dorothy. Is that Elmo's sidekick? Almost. How? I haven't had to watch a Sesame Street in a long time so I guessed. That's okay. There's the Lion King. Lion King. Lion King Cod. There's a little club waiting, everybody. Now the City Affairs Fairfax Republican Committee. And we're going to be seeing just a few campaign signs here. Of course they support the Republican Party candidates for office. I guess it's a good time to mention to everybody regardless of which side of the aisle or which color you're voting or which party you're with. Most important is to go out and vote. Definitely go out and vote. Coming November, make sure you cast your vote. Ah, some McCain fans there. Uh-huh, we've got McCain, K-Pan, and the gentleman we're running for, uh for Congress and some Davis' seat, some Davis' retiree. And of course we have the elephant, naturally.
