For the record: Action minutes shall provide the necessary documentation of committee decisions/votes.  a. Jackson Retail Showcase [City Manager, Carl P. Simpson).  City Manager Carl Simpson reviewed the upcoming Retail Showcase page being added to the City ofJackson website tol highlight businesses within City Limits. A trial video will be created soon to be posted to YouTube, with possible assistance from interns at Folsom Lake College (connection made by Carl Simpson). Businesses can request be to be added to a waitlist to be highlighted on Retail Showcase. Erika Simmons has possible resource to assist. Wayne Garibaldi will connect with the volunteer who does videos for the museum. Committee discussed additional resources to get the  word out including Chamber of Commerce, Facebook, Visit Amador, etc. b. Christmas Delights 2024 Plans. (This item was tabled for a future meeting.) Artificial Christmas tree purchase versus live tree for Historic District.  The Committee reviewed another quote for a 22 foot artificial Christmas tree from Holiday Outdoor Décor, cost estimate approximately $28K. Committee agreed to recommend purchase oft the tree to  City Council on 4/8/24.  Motion to recommend to City Council the purchase ofa 22-foot artificial Christmas tree from. Holiday Outdoor Décor as presented on this date. Moved by Vice Chair Mulford, seconded by Committee member Garibaldi, and carried by a 5to 0 vote:  AYES: Garibaldi, Gonsalves, Mulford, Simmons,  Ven Huizen  NOES: None ABSENT: Stimpson, Tonnesen ABSTAIN: None  d. Review Merlak quote for four (4) City of. Jackson owned signs located at Busi-Park, Tailing Wheels, The Committee reviewed the quote from Merlak signs for approximately $3900 and agreed to recommend Council approve purchase ofthe signs as presented on 4/8/24. Jason Mulford recommended using a uniform font for all signs. The Committee agreed they like the shadow and do not like the miner, recommending replacing the miner with the City Logo/Tailing Wheel. Motion to recommend to City Council the purchase offour (4) signs from Merzlak Signs as presented on this date. Moved by Vice Chair Mulford, seconded. by Committee member  Historic Main Street on Hwy 88, and Main St. parking garage. Home Depot discussion, follow up [Duane Ven Huizen).  Duane Ven Huizen advised the deal on the land he was looking at fell through but another site is being considered.
