49 Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, May 24, 2022 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Bunch, Commissioner Shives and Commissioner Ulsh via Telephone Conference Absent: None Others Present: None Commissioner Bunch opened the meeting with silent prayer and all recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the Commissioners' Minutes of the May 17, 2022 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Accounts Payable dated May 23, 2022 in the amount of $182,327.15. All in favor. Fund 100 General Fund 61,434.19 TOTAL GENERAL FUND $61,434.19 Fund 231 SFC Evidence Based Practice 13,242.97 Fund 235 Law Library 87.00 Fund 256 Domestic Relations 13.50 Fund 275 Medical Assistance Transportation 93,400.54 Fund 801 Pass thru Funds 14,148.95 TOTAL ALL FUNDS $182,327.15 Commissioners met with Brian Barton, EMA and 911 Director regarding EMA/911 open dispatcher positions. Interviews were conducted and Barton updated the Commissioners on those applicants. Barton also presented to the Commissioners creation of a Lead Dispatcher position responsibilities. Those positions would be held by current full time dispatchers. The Commissioners will review and discuss in more detail at next week's meeting. Commissioners met with Patti Hess, CDBG Coordinator regarding inspection of sidewalk curb cuts. There are some areas that will need further attention before final inspection will be passed. Commissioners met with Patti Hess, Elections Director regarding last Tuesday's Primary election. Hess has presented the State with the required reports to date and certified results will be required by June 6th, pending a possible state recount. 50 In other county matters, the Commissioner's discussed the County's Annual Retired Contribution of $339, 512. A prior contribution was paid in the amount of $200,000.00 and the remaining amount of has been requested by Conrad Siegel. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to pay the remaining Annual Required Contribution for 2022 in the amount of $139,512 to Charles Schwab Bank. All in favor.
