Old Business TDON update- Discuss request for a variance: Mayor Ellis spoke with Mr. Speigle a few timés this week and he believes he has a builder who will build the commercial buildings and the builder will manage the commercial space. Wedding venue- There will be a formal discussion in July and a vote in August. Townhomes- Pre-construction meeting soon: We're scheduling à meeting with the builder, the building inspector, and the city planner. We hope to meet within the next 2 weeks. Streets Department building: The city should be separated from Rob Russells property from Rob Russells property. Moratorium- Planning and Zoning: Sheds, garages, and individual residential homes will not beaffected. The moratorium would be for 90 days. IV. New Business The Downtown Bloom Council has refreshed the entry sign with new plants. The Chris Ruse and Joyce Wilkerson park signs will be next. Volunteers are welcome to join in the efforts. City will host a fireworks display on July 4th. We'll have more info at the next council meeting. Sylvia Basak asks ifthe amphitheater will be for rent. The availability of the amphitheater for rental remains undetermined at this time and will be evaluated further, The Council reviewed a list of possible future community events' to be hosted by the City. Suggested events included Movie in the Park, a Fall Festival, a Car Show, a Labor Day Celebration, and the hosting of food trucks at the park.
