Call to Order, Roll Call, and Announce a Quorum is Present Chairperson Peterman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following roll call: Debbie Peterman Chairperson Present Bill Gusick Vice Chairperson Present Brent Coleman Commissioner Present David Garb Commissioner Present Keith Johnson Commissioner Present Jerry Raye Commissioner Absent Kiven Williams Commissioner Present Christopher Risher Alternate Present Maryann Acola Alternate Present City staff present: Lyle Dresher Interim City Manager Michael Coker City Planner Trish Timm City Secretary City Council present: Greg Weiler Council Member John Lusk Council Member Larry D'Amato Council Member 2. Pledge of Allegiance and Pledge to the Texas Flag Chairperson Peterman led the pledges to the flags. 3. Public Comment Ben Duran, 532 Brookhaven, spoke in opposition to the water tower and high-density housing. Laura Carlisle, 331 Stonebriar, spoke in opposition to the water tower and nigh-density housing. Valerie Watson, 500 Highmoor, spoke in opposition to the water tower. Ronnie Carlisle, 331 Stonebriar, spoke in opposition to the water tower. Don Bukowsky, 511 Shady Oaks, spoke in opposition to the water tower. 4. Consider and act upon minutes from the May 6, 2025 regular meeting. Vice Chairperson Gusick made a motion to approve the minutes from the May 6, 2025 Regular Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission; motion seconded by Commissioner Williams. Motion Passed 6-0 5. Consider and act to approve a Preliminary/Final Plat for 48 Oaks Townhomes Addition. City Planner Coker explained the approva/disapproval of the plat and compliance. Commissioner Coleman questioned City Planner Coker about the ETJ. Commissioner Johnson made a motion to approve the Preliminary/Final Plat for 48 Oaks Townhomes Addition; motion seconded by Commissioner Garb. Motion Passed 5-1 6. Consider and act to approve a Preliminary Plat for Skorburg's Greywood development. City Planner Coker explained the explained the preliminary plat and compliance and recommended approval. Commission Coleman asked about a traffic impact assessment before approval of the final plat. City Planner Coker answered questions from the commissioners. Vice Chairperson Gusick made a motion to approve the Preliminary Plat for the Greywood Development; motion seconded by Commissioner Johnson. Motion Passed 6-0 7. Future Agenda Items None 8.
