Judge Mackenzie called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m., the following Elected Officials were present: Joanna E. Commissioner Moore seconded the motion. The motion passed. Item #4-Citizen's Communication: None. Item #5-Commissioner Quijas made a motion to the Hudspeth County Accounts Payable and Paid Bills, $152,201.31 in paid bills and $167,324.70 to be paid bills. Commissioner Moore seconded the motion. The motion passed. temi6-Commissioner Moore made a motion approve the Hudspeth County Payroll #15 totaling $156,230.77 and payroll #16 totaling $162, 121.83. Commissioner Quijas seconded the motion. The motion passed. em#7-Commissioner Moore made a motion to approve the FY'26 Budget Calendar. Commissioner Quijas seconded the motion. Commissioner Moore seconded the motion. The motion passed. Item #9- No action was taken regarding the adoption of the County Special Events Request Guidelines and Procedures. The County Attorney will undertake the development of these guidelines for the County. Consequently, no further action was taken at this time. Item #10-There was a discussion on information regarding the Sierra Blanca RUTA/Buggie Ride. Will be back on the next agenda as an action item. Item #Il-Commissioner Quijas made a motion to approve the Ordert to renew the Hudspeth County Burn Ban. Commissioner Moore seconded the motion. The motion passed. Item #12-Commissioner Moore made a motion to approve the promotion of Peter Bustamente to Solid Waste Manager. Commissioner Quijas seconded the motion. The motion passed. Item 13-Commissioner: Moore made a motion to approve a Budget Amendment for Solid Waste Manager Salary Line Item #032-675-401 in the amount of $34,285.80 to $41,500.00 with a transfer from line item #032-675-460 of $2,000.00 and Line Item #032-672-403 of$5,214.20. Commissioner Quijas seconded the motion. The motion passed. Item #14-No action was taken regarding the Hudspeth County Solid Waste. Item #15-No action was taken, the item was information on an updated list on the progress of the Hudspeth County/TAC's Annual Cybersecurity Awareness Training 2025. As per the Texas Local Government Code 2054.5191. Item #16-No action was taken to approve the Order for Addressing Standards in Hudspeth County. Item #17- Commissioner Quijas made a motion to approve the completed Certificate of Compliance Applications following determination regarding plat and utility status ofTexas Local Government Code, Section 232.028 (b).
