Item 7.2 Proclamation - Pride Month June 2025- It is recommended that the City Council read and present a Proclamation for Pride Month to Roman Scanlon, Executive Director of CalPride Stanislaus. Item 7.4 Proclamation Juneteenth Freedom Day 2025- It is recommended that the City Council read the Proclamation for Juneteenth Freedom Day 2025. Neal and Chief Clint Bray- It is recommended that the City Council receive an update by Director Charles E. Neal and Chief Clint Bray with Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District. Item 12.1 Staff City Manager Garcia: Parks and Rec. will be hosting its first movies in the pool. So, we have had movies in the park this time it's movie in the pool on June 21st at the Community pool. Will be showing Moana 2 the pool will open at 7:00pm and the movie will begin at dusk. Admission is $3.00 and concessions will be sold. So, bring your family and your favorite floatation device and enjoy the show. The Juneteenth celebration by Sullie Entertainment will be on Thursday June 19th from 11:00am to 5:00pm at the Community Center, there will be food, games, entertainment and more. A friendly reminder that all city offices will be closed on Thursday June 19th for the holiday and on June 20th due to our 9/80 schedule. We will be holding a joint Planning Commission and City Council workshop regarding the River Walk project on July 9th at 6:00pm at the Community Center. It will be an informational workshop their will be no decisions made at that time. Item 12.2 CouncilAuthority Member Councilmember Uribe: The Chamber wanted me to remind everyone that there will be a Bike Rodeo which is hosted by Sheriffs, CVCR and City of Riverbank. It will be right out here in the Plaza tomorrow from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. They will be doing food, crafts, health and safety information, bike raffles and a bunch of other stuff. I will be doing a meet and greet, I was asked by the Tuesday market if / could set up a table and do a meet and greet. / will be sharing our donation drive and if residents have any questions about anything orjust want to meet me please feel free to come out. So, visit the Parks and Rec website to see more information about those. And then her and / also discussed a partnership to bring programming for teenagers. So, stay tuned on that. / have the Bike Rodeo as well for tomorrow 5:30pm to 8:00pm right here in Del Rio Plaza. So, make sure you donate your bikes. Bring them early to the police station SO they can register them first. The Sierra drive for men's and women's undergarments, socks, bleach specifically hand soap, laundry detergent. Those are some big things that they need, especially with the day use facility. / have open office hours, June 19th SO I'm changing the date and the time and location. Usually it's here in chambers, but they are closed. So, I'm going to get creative. Stanislaus Latino Chamber has a Mixer, June 19th as well 5:30pm to 7:30pm. It's a Multi-Chamber Mixer at Contentment Brewing. / would like to visit strategies on revising our utility assistance program and getting creative on some additional ways to provide assistance to more members of our community aside from seniors and disabled.
