The 8.56 +/- acre subject property is zoned RSF-1 and per Section V-102 (b)(2) ofthe zoning code, expansion of an existing cemetery in the RSF-1 zone district is permitted provided a Minor Conditional Use Permit is processed and approved by the Planning Board. A Minor Conditional Use Permit application requires a concurrent site plan to be processed and approved. The proposed expansion will take place on the northern 4.21 +/- acre portion oft the Temple's cemetery property. The southern portion of the site is already developed with burial plots. The existing access driveways will be extended northward to provide access to the new proposed burial plot area. The expansion area is proposing to add 1,760 new burial plots for the long-term future use by the Temple.
