The Yacht Club property is zoned RSF-1. Toallow the renovations and expansion ofthe Yacht Club al Major Conditional Use and associated Site Plan must be approved by the City Commission. The existing yacht club plans to update their facilities. In addition to the interior renovations, the following changes are proposed: A small building expansion of 1,456: s.f. is being proposed to provide for more dining area; the existing pool is proposed to be demolished and a new pool constructed in the same area; the existing Bocce Ball court is proposed to be relocated near the pool; and one new tennis court is proposed to be added immediately south of the existing tennis courts. And finally, a new 4,000 s.f. two-story marina building is proposed for the dock master and marina related bathrooms and facilities. Based on the existing and proposed uses a total of 144 parking spaces are required. The applicant will be adding three spaces to have a total of147 parking spaces. Lighting is being proposed to be added to the tennis courts. The new lights will not be used in the morning and will be turned off every night no later than 9:00 p.m. The operating hours of the Yacht Club Clubhouse are not proposed to change and are listed below: SUMMER OPERATIONAL HOURS: May 30-October 2 (exact dates are determined by calendar) Clubhouse Hours: CLOSED Monday and Tuesday; Open IIAM-9PM, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday; Open 9AM-9PM, Saturday; Open 9AM-8PM, Sunday. They will be shielded and a photometric study will be provided at the building permit stage to ensure light is not bleeding off site. Why is a fourth court being added?
