Chairman Sonnenberg asked if there were any revisions for the agenda. Hearing none, Chairman Sonnenberg continued with consent agenda. The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items: Approval of minutes of the November 7, 2023, meeting. Theresa Crose, 4H/Open Class Chairperson. Bill Dolan, Demolition Derby Chairperson. Acknowledge receipt of the Clerk and Recorder's Report for the month of October 2023. Acknowledge receipt of the Sheriff S Fee Report for the month of October 2023. Commissioner Brownell moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Chairman Sonnenberg continued with New Business: Chairman Sonnenberg opened a public hearing testimony phase oft the meeting to consider the Proposed Logan County Budget for the fiscal year 2024. Lisa Hudson Executive Director of ESBDC addressed the Board. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no further public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase. Chairman Sonnenberg opened a public hearing testimony phase oft the meeting to consider the Proposed Logan County Pest District Budget for the fiscal year 2024. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase. Chairman Sonnenberg opened a public hearing testimony phase of the meeting for Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project Miles Partnership 2024 Advertising Package in the amount of$10,315. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase. Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project Miles Partnership 2024 Advertising Package in the amount of$10,315. Commissioner Brownell seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Chairman Sonnenberg opened a public hearing testimony phase of the meeting for Resolution 2023-36 to amend the IRC Section 125 Flexible Benefits Plan amended to allow a participant to redirect on a non-tax basis, aj portion ofthe gross compensation for reimbursement of health expenses to the extent that such expenses do not exceed $3,200.00 per plan year. Also amended is the maximum Health Flexible Spending Account (FSA) carryover, it will be $640.00. This carryover amount is in addition to employee's election for the new plan year. Chairman Sonnenberg opened a public hearing testimony phase oft the meeting for Resolution 2023-37 cancelling a Tax Lien Sale Certificate of Purchase issued in error and ordering the refund to the Certificate 2 holder of the purchase price, subsequently endorsed taxes and interest. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase. Commissioner McBride moved to approve Resolution 2023-37 cancelling a Tax Lien Sale Certificate of Purchase issued in error and ordering the refund to the Certificate holder of the purchase price, subsequently endorsed taxes and interest. Commissioner Brownell seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Other Business The next regular meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at the Logan County Courthouse. County Offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th, 2023 in observance of Thanksgiving.
