Chairman McFall called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m. Those present included: Dwayne McFall Chairman Present Kevin Grantham Chairman Pro Tem Present Debbie Bell Treasurer Absent Also present: Eric Bellas, Fremont County Attorney, Tony Carochi, Fremont County Administrator, Shawn Sutton, Assistant County Adminlstrator/Finance Officer, Tonia Sutton, Director, Department of Human Services (DHS), Janean Wheeler, Finance & Operations Administrator, Department of Human Services (DHS). MINUTES: Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall, to accept the minutes ofthe April 29th, 2025 meeting. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, Board Member Grantham, aye; The motion carried. AGENDA: No additions or corrections were made to the agenda. Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to approve the May 27th, 2025 meeting agenda. Upon vote: Board Member Grantham, aye; Board Member McFall, aye. The motion carried. FINANCAL/CASFIOAD REPORT: Director, Tonia Sutton, discussed increase in FEM expense due to open FEM Position. Tonia discussed decrease in Business Office Contractor due to Business Office need for help decreasing. Tonia discussed a review of the summary page change for caseloads. AND & OAP will increase in June due to MOE. Additional request for all years on charts with possible 3-4-year chart over time to show broad spectrum not) just 2 years, requested by Commissioner Grantham. Child Care issuance went up this month. 12 new applicants in one week. State memo to increase rates Oct. 1. LEAP to stay small, will be big hit from Feds. Food issuance same. OOH went up due to increase custody. CORE low due to provider not pulling into system for April, will bill in May. Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to accept the Financial/Caseload Reports. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member Grantham, aye. The motion carried. DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Director, Tonia Sutton, shared a written report regarding the current open staff positions, a summary of monthly events that were attended during the month, and accolades to DHS staff for various activities. After a full discussion, Board Member Grantham moved, duly seconded by Board Member McFall to accept the monthly report. Upon vote: Board Member McFall, aye; Board Member Grantham, aye. The motion carried. OLDI BUSINESS: There was no old business to discuss. NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business to discuss.
