Chairman Brownell asked ifthere were any revisions for the agenda. Hearing none, Chairman Brownell continued with the Consent Agenda. The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items: Approval of the Minutes ofthe April 16, and April 24, 2024, meetings. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Chairman Brownell continued with New Business: The Board opened a public hearing to consider the approval of an application submitted by the Logan Chamber of Commerce for a Special Events Liquor License for the Cinco de Mayo event to be held at County the Logan County Courthouse Square, 315 Main Street, Sterling, Colorado on May 4, 2024. Peggy Stoltenberg with CSU Engagement spoke about the event. - Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve an application submitted by the Logan County Chamber of Commerce for a Special Events Liquor License for the Cinco de Mayo event to be held at the Logan County Courthouse Square, 315 Main Street, Sterling, Colorado on May 4, 2024. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve Resolution 2024-14 for Subdivision Exemption for the Alberta M. Smart Revocable Trust to create a 2.25-acre parcel from a 92.00-acre parcel in an Agricultural (AG) zone in the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 53 West of the 6th P.M., Logan County, Colorado. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner McBride moved to approve an application for Fireworks Display Permit on behalf of Sterling Boat Club for July 5, 2024, at the Boat Dock at North Sterling State Park. Commissioner Sonnenberg seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Consideration oft the award of the following bids/proposals for services for the 2024 Logan County Fair: Portable Restrooms. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the bid for services for the 2024 Logan County Fair Portable Restrooms to Waste Management of Colorado in the amount of$12,898.08. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the bid for services for the 2024 Logan County Fair Trash Disposal Provider to Waste Management of Colorado in the amount of$15,411.11. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the bid for services for the 2024 Logan County Fair for Fairgrounds Restroom Cleanup to Anthony Waldon in the amount of $3,400.00. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the bid for services for the 2024 Logan County Fair for Gate Keepers to Anthony Waldon in the amount of $2,700.00. The Board will sign a proclamation designating the month ofMay as Mental Health Month in Logan County. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to adopt and sign the proclamation designating the month of May as Mental Health Month in Logan County. Commissioner McBride seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
