Approval of A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Arvin to Approve, Subject to Conditions, SDP 2025-2505 South Comanche Drive, 10 Single-Story Self-Storage Buildings and Office Buildings Consisting of Approximately 71,000 Square Feet of Building Coverage at Ultimate Build Out (APN 189-340-55 - 4.65 Acres); Exhibit A - Conditions of Approval, Figure 1 - 5 Site Plan, Elevation, and Preliminary Landscape Plans; and 2. Approval of A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Arvin Adopting the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for Site Development Permit 2025-2505 South Comanche Drive Self Storage Project. Public Testimony: Applicant Randel Mathias provided comments regarding his disagreement with the high traffic impact fees and plans to address them along with other items such as road improvements with the City Manager. No other testimony received from the public. The Environmental Health Division of the Kern County Public Health Department provided a letter dated May 20, 2025, to the City of Arvin indicating they received the notification of development for this project and recommended that the City of Arvin place the following condition on this project: The method of water supply and sewage disposal for the proposed project shall be approved by the Kern County Environmental Health Division.
