Ford City Borough Zoning Hearing Board Appointment - Tanya Gladysiewski Councilwoman Mary Alice Bryant made the motion to appoint Tanya Gladysiewski to the Zoning Hearing Board for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2025, and expiring December 31, 2028. Borough of Ford City Stormwater Authority Appointment - Sally Beck Councilwoman Mary Alice Bryant made the motion to appoint Sally Beck to the Borough of Ford City Stormwater Authority for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2025, and expiring December 31, 2029. Councilman Tom Ondrusek seconds the motion. No comments Motion carried: 5-0 3. Ford City Borough Municipal Sewage Disposal Authority Appointment - Tom Ondrusek Councilwoman Sally Beck made the motion to appoint Tom Ondrusek to the Ford City Borough Municipal Sewage Disposal Authority for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2025, and expiring December 31, 2029. Vice President Richard Chimka seconds the motion. No comments Motion carried: 5-0 4. Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor - James Favero Councilwoman Mary Alice Bryant made the motion to appoint Attorney at Law, James Favero, as the Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor for advice and legal services regarding various codes, laws, and regulations applicable to the municipality, at a rate of$95.00 an hour for all work done including representation in court proceedings, and meeting attendance. Councilman Tom Ondrusek seconds the motion. No comments Motion carried: 5-0 5. Ordinance 763: Increasing Indebtedness Vice President Richard Chimka made the motion to table the adoption of Ordinance No. 763 increasing the indebtedness of the Borough by the issue of a general obligation note in the amount of $400,000 for the emergency replacement of failed raw water pumps that service the Borough's S water treatment plant; fixing the form, number, date, interest and maturity thereof; making a covenant for the payment ofthe debt service on the note; providing for the filing ofthe required document; providing for the appointment of a sinking fund depository for the note; and authorizing execution, sale and delivery thereof. Councilwoman Sally Beck seconds the motion. Council comments: Borough Manager Charles Stull specified that council is still waiting on information from the bank. Motion carried: 5-0 6. Resolution 29-2024: Approval, Adoption, and Implementation of Amendments to the Employee Handbook Councilwoman Mary Alice Bryant made the motion to adopt Resolution 29-2024 amending the Borough of Ford City Employee Handbook. Councilwoman Sally Beck seconds the motion. No comments Motion carried: 5-0 2 7. 2025 Ford City Borough Council Meeting Dates Councilman Tom Ondrusek made the motion to approve the Ford City Borough Regular Council Meeting Schedule for 2025. Free Meter Parking for Remainder of 2024 Councilwoman Mary Alice Bryant made the motion to approve free parking at meters for the remainder of2024 and resume meter enforcement January 2, 2025.
