Williams) TOWNHALL (No action to be taken) 1.1 The Jourdanton City Council will host a public discussion to provide the public an opportunity to review and provide feedback concerning the initial engineering plan for the sidewalk improvement project within the City of Jourdanton. City staff and others involved with the sidewalk improvement project will be present and available for questions throughout this public discussion. This public discussion is organized as part of the City of Jourdanton's application to the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA) Program, which provides funds for locally sponsored bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure projects. This project is an important step in the city's efforts to improve safety and mobility for nonmotorized travelers and mitigate congestion by providing safe alternatives to motor vehicle transport.
