BY ORDER OF THE REMINGTON TOWN COUNCIL Tm AN ORDINANCE TO INCREASE WATER RATES ORDINANCE 05-25 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE REMINGTON TOWN COUNCIL at its regular monthly work session on Monday June 9, 2025, following a duly advertised public hearing, that the water rates for the Town of Remington shall be as follows beginning on July 1, 2025 and ending on June 30, 2026: In Town residents: $29.96 Out-of-town residents: $46.01 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED THAT the water rates for the Town of Remington shall be as follows beginning on July 1, 2026 and ending on June 30, 2027: In Town residents: $ 32.06 Out-of-town residents: $49.23 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED THAT the water rates for the Town of Remington shall be as follows beginning on July 1, 2027 and ending on June 30, 2028: In Town residents: $34.30 Out-of-town residents: $52.68 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED THAT the water rates for the Town of Remington shall be as follows beginning on July 1, 2028 and ending on June 30, 2029: In Town residents: $36.70 Out-of-town residents: $56.37 BE IT FINALLY ORDAINED THAT the water rates for the Town of Remington shall be as follows beginning on July 1, 2029: In Town residents: $39.27 Out-of-town residents: $60.32 VOTE: Electronic Sign Policy 1. All designs for messages are done by Town Clerk in order to maintain continuity of design. - PROCLAMATION HONORING BUTCH GRIMSLEY FOR 50 YEARS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICE WITH THE REMINGTON VOLUNTEER FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the Town of Remington is proud to recognize the extraordinary dedication and service of Butch Grimsley, who has selflessly volunteered with the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for the past fifty (50) years; and WHEREAS, Mr. Grimsley has served in numerous capacities throughout his decades of commitment, providing unwavering leadership, mentorship, and support to fellow volunteers, and answering the call to protect life, property, and the well-being of our community; and WHEREAS, his steadfast presence, courage under pressure, and embodiment ofthe spirit of public service have left an indelible mark on generations of firefighters and rescue personnel, as well as the residents of the Town of Remington and surrounding areas; and WHEREAS, his exemplary record of service serves as a shining example of civic responsibility, personal sacrifice, and hometown pride, inspiring others to give back and strengthening the bonds that unite our small-town community; ànd WHEREAS, the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department recently dedicated a tanker in his honor, a fitting tribute to a man whose name has become synonymous with dedication and service; NOW, THEREFORE, BE: IT PROCLAIMED, that the Remington Town Council, on behalf of the citizens of Remington, hereby recognizes and honors Butch Grimsley for 50 years of distinguished volunteer service to the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and extends deepest gratitude for his exceptional contributions to the safety and strength of our community.
