The 6/6/2025 8:44 AM easiest way to "not screw up" IMO is to just keep the current play structure, and just add a 2nd one with shade. A well shaded 2nd playground structure near the current one would be well used. I almost never see anyone use the vollyball court, you could take over that, or any other place nearby the current playground. I think a having a "draw" item is cool too (castle, train, rocket, etc) because then it helps kids know "I want to go to the animal park". 10 A bike/skate path around the entire park with varied terrain and obstacles. It could be transitioned to open space because it seems to incur a lot of maintenance adding/grooming: the sand, fixing the net, etc) for little use - Further, having open space throughout the park where it is groomed to allow kids to play soccer or football, etc., (but not some organized striped fields, etc.. just grass) without slopes or obstructions (trees, etc), would be good.
