Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, september 4, 2018 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner McCray and Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, August 28, 2018 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the Accounts Payable dated August 31, 2018 in the amount of $84,934.08. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray authorizing Chairman Ulsh to sign and approve the exempt status determination form for the Environmental Review of the Fulton County Fair Grounds, funded within the FFY 2015 CDBG Contract. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the proposed revisions to the FFY 2016 CDBG Contract, which will increase the Fulton County Fair Grounds accessibility up-grades allocation to $18,572.22. All in favor. The Commissioners met with April Brown and James Eagler from Franklin Fulton Drug & Alcohol, Dan Miller, Chief Probation Officer, Drew Washabuagh, Probation Officer, Mike Straley from the FCMC Foundation, Alanna Fletcher, Community Member, Melanie Irwin and Ali Washabaugh from Gaudenzia, Teresa Hess and Jack Elvey from Tri-State Community Health Center regarding Recovery Month. Motion by Commissioner McCray to endorse a Proclamation designating September 2018 as Recovery Month. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Michael Lamb, Wessel & Company regarding Financial Updates. The Commissioners met with Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator, Michael Lamb from Wessel & Company, Cory Johnson & Daniel Sefick from Zelenkofske Axelrod, LLC regarding the Annual Audit Exit Conference. The County Auditors sat in on the Exit Conference as well. The Gentlemen from Zelenkofske Axelrod, LLC: stated that the Audit is still in Draft form at the moment. However, they commended the Board and their staff on the good decision making and budget management. They also noted there are no findings reported. The Commissioners met with Connie Brode, Director of the edforcFulton-funtngson Area Agency on Aging regarding signatures on Civil Service Commission documents. This document was previously voted on at an Area Agency on Aging Meeting. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the McConnell Park Lease Agreement between the Fulton County Family Partnership and the Fulton County Commissioners for use of the Park for a movie night in the park on September 15, 2018 at 6;00 p.m. All in favor.
