USGA. Dear Oakmont Resident, The 2025 U.S. Open Championship at Oakmont Country Club is fast approaching. We are excited to be once again conducting our national championship in your community at such a historic golf course! Over the last two years the USGA's championship team has been working hand in hand with local, county, and state officials to build a comprehensive transportation plan to manage traffic patterns and mitigate trafficin Oakmont Borough during the week of the championship. To minimize the impact on the area surrounding Oakmont Country Club, we have developed a satellite parking plan where general spectators will have the option to either park at Hartwood Acres or the Monroeville Mall based on their geographical location. Under this plan, the majority of our 35,000+ fans each day will be shuttled from these parking areas to the championship utilizing the Pennsylvania Turnpike and drop off on the eastern side of the Oakmont Country Club property. As with previous championships, we have worked closely with the Borough of Oakmont to develop special traffic patterns and restrictions during the week of the championship. We believe that these modifications will enhance the flow of traffic in Oakmont Borough and will allow residents to maneuver the streets to access their residences with ease. To assist with this traffic program, each resident within the boundaries of Hulton Road, gth Street, Maryland Ave, and 15th Street has been issued three (3) weekly (June 9- 15) Resident Passes. Residents who also live north of Hulton Road on Wade Lane, Oak Meadow Drive, Oakglen Drive and Woodland Avenue will also receive these parking passes. These passes will allow on-street parking for your family, friends, and guests in designated areas. Vehicle parking on the street in these areas without displaying one of these passes will be subject to ticketing, fines, and/or towing. No access passes will be necessary for vehicles that are parked in private driveways. Residents may request additional passes by contacting the Oakmont Borough Offices at bmncsimatiamsden or by phone at 412)828-3232, all passes are subject to review and approval by the Oakmont Chief of Police, Mike Ford. Remember, these passes will assist with access to your property and ensure that there is adequate on-street parking for you and your neighbors, SO please limit your additional requests. For Oakmont residents that plan on attending the championship, a walkup admission gate will be located off Hulton Road, near the Presbyterian Senior Care Center. The championship signage will be in place to direct you to the proper walking route and admission gate. Additionally, we will have a rideshare drop location, located at 10th street Elementary School and encourage you to provide this information to any guests you have coming to visit or attend the championship. Drop-offs along Hulton Road will not be permitted. For Oakmont residents living west of Allegheny Avenue the USGA will provide an Oakmont resident shuttle service operating from 7am to 8pm Thursday - Sunday (June 12-15) of them championship. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the Gazebo on the Arboretum Trail on Allegheny Ave. and at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave. and 12th Street. Residents will exit the shuttle, proceed to 11th Street, and follow signs to enter the Championship. It is important to note that the only legal crossings of Hulton Road to access the Championship will be at law enforcement-managed crosswalks located at 9th Ave, 11th Ave, and 13th Avenues. We are very excited to bring the U.S. Open Championship back to Oakmont Borough and Oakmont Country Club. We simply could not do it without the support of this great community and your hospitality is greatly appreciated. We look forward to adding another exciting chapter to the championship legacy of Oakmont Borough and Oakmont Country Club. USGA.
