REGULAR SESSION April 21, 2025 PAGE 1 Notice is hereby given that a Public Meeting was held on April 21, 2025, at the Garrison City Hall. Members present were Mayor Keith Yarbrough, Arnie Kelley, Darrell Lunsford, Hope Hallmark, Travis Simon, and Tim Wright. Others present were Jack Brown, Herbert Hancock, and Jenny Frederick Mayor Yarbrough called the meeting to order at 5:02 P.M. Jack Brown led in prayer. The council discussed and considered the sealed bids for Greenwood Street. There are only 2 places that serve our area. Texas Materials bid $80 per ton at $48,000 for oil sand. Longview Asphalt bid $95 per ton at $57,000 for oil sand. Arnie Kelley made a motion to accept Texas Materials bid for $48,000 for 600 tons. Tim Wright seconded. All voted yea. Council considered bids for Woodland Oaks culvert repairs. Chris Gaddy never gave a bid. Council wants 3 bids before making a decision. Arnie Kelley made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
