Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, May 4, 2021 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh and Commissioner Shives Absent: Commissioner Bunch Others Present: None Chairman Uish opened the meeting with a moment of silent prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the minutes of the April 27, 2021 meeting. All in favor. Motion by commissioner Shives to approve the accounts payable dated April 30, 2021 int the amount of $172,743.79. All in favor. All in favor. The Commissioners held a Public Hearing at 9:00 a.m. regarding 2017 CDBG Budget Modification. No one from the public attended. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the submission of the FFY 2017 Budget Modification to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for CDBG Contract #C000069230 they are reallocating leftover funding from the Wells Tannery Water System Project to McConnellsburg Curb Cuts and Handicap Accessible Parking in the amount of $64,864.84. All in favor. The Commissioners met with. Julia Dovey, Director of the Fulton County Family Partnership regarding MATP and Human Services. Mrs. Dovey reported that the Medical Assistance Transportation Program Fiscal Year 2019-2020 was received and reviewed. Based on that review the Department of Human Services has determined an overpayment was made in the amount of $8,669. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to remit payment to the Department of Human Services in the amount of $8,669. All ini favor. Mrs. Dovey also updated the Commissioners on the Human Services Block Grant and Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Motion by Commissioner Shives to authorize adoption of Resolution 10 of 2021 Connie Brode, Executive Director of Humtingdon-edfordFunton Area Agency on Aging authority to assume all duties and responsibilties of administration of this program, as well as serving as Trustee of the Agency's retirement plan etc, in direct with this program. All in favor. Three quotes were received for the removal/replacement of the slate on the County courthouse: Woolridge Construction Company $12,740, Steve Park Construction-$16,000: and Gladfelter Construction-$14,250. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to award to Woolridge Construction Company in the amount of $12,740. All ini favor. The Commissioners met with Christine McQuade regarding the Plans of Safe Care Grant. Motion by Commissioner Shives to authorize submission of the Plans of Safe Care Grant offered by the Department of Human Services for approximately $25,000. All in favor.
