CALL TO ORDER The Special Meeting of the Board of Health on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 was called to order by Chair, Tamara Pogue, at 1:00 p.m. in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Summit County Courthouse, 208 Lincoln Avenue, Breckenridge, Colorado. II. ROLL CALL Board Members present and answered to the roll call were: Tamara Pogue, Chair Nina Waters, Commissioner Staff Present were as follows: David Rossi, County Manager; Jeff Huntley, County Attorney; Cameron Turpin, Assistant County Attorney; Toby Weiner, Assistant County Attorney, Jenny Wood, Assistant County Manager; Amy Wineland, Public Health Director; Dan Hendershott, Environmental Health Manager; Seth Danner, Senior Environmental Health Specialist; Johanna Jacobsen, Administrative Assistant; Caitlin Johnson, Executive Administrative Manager and Lori Dwyer, Deputy Clerk. III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved, as presented. V. PUBLIC HEARING A. Public Health Order Regarding Nuisance Condition at Lot 24, Block 8, Dillon Valley Sub Dan Hendershott gave an overview of the item. He noted that a few weeks ago the Environmental Health Department was notified by a neighbor of sewage at the property. He shared the department's attempts to contact the owner including notices, letters, voicemails, and emails, and have not received feedback. A sample was obtained last week, the state lab tested for e coli and in the opinion of the state lab the sample is indicative of sewage. Given the steps that were taken, the Environmental Health Department felt it is prudent to issue a public health order. Commissioner Pogue opened and closed the hearing with no public comment. Summit County Board of Health Special Meeting Minutes of May 29, 2024 MOTION: A motion was made by Commissioner Waters and seconded by Commissioner Pogue to adopt Resolution 2021-01, Public Health Order Regarding Nuisance Condition at Lot 24, Block 8, Dillon Valley Sub. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THE BOARD PRESENT VI.
