Councilmember Carolyn David-Graves requested that a proclamation be issued in recognition of Police Week in Princeton. Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh directed staff to determine the party responsible for maintaining overgrown grass in alleyways. Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh also requested clarification on whether homeowners' associations or individual property owners are responsible for the maintenance of areas outside of fences. Councilmember Cristina Todd proposed the creation of a committee composed of representatives from Planning and Zoning, City Council, and City Department Directors to facilitate better coordination and communication. Councimember Carolyn David-Graves encouraged homeowners' associations to attend City Council meetings to present concerns or issues, allowing the city to address them appropriately moving forward. Councimember Terrance Johnson requested a follow-up on the current status of the Rental Cap Update.
