Monticello Parks Department June Programs 2025 POP Club is sponsored by the Farmers Market, Library and Parks. June dates are June 3, 10, 17, and 24th. Kids join free at the Tuesday Farmers Market at 127 N Main St. (Andrea Roller Photography) any time between 5 and 7 pm and learn about healthy eating and active living. Bug Safari for students preschool to 2nd grade with a parent meets Tuesday June 3rd and 17th and July 1st ,15th and 29th. Family Gardening Lessons are programs to promote gardening by learning from other gardeners. This program is sponsored by the Monticello Parks and Soil and Water Conservation District. We will meet Thursdays from 6-7pm at the new row garden at Bluestem Nature Center. Attendees will learn care and harvest of crops. Everyone is welcome. Dates in June are June 5,12,19 and 26. Art in the Park- Cat Quill is a special quilling class for cat lovers held by Joy Bailey. It will be held on Friday June 6th from 6 to 8pm at Bluestem Nature Center. There will be games, drinks, crafts and you can sign up for summer reading. Kids Learn to Fish Clinic is Saturday June 7th from 8 to 11am. For kids with an adult. Come to Bluewater Beach Park and learn about casting, bait, lures, and more. Fun for the whole family! Tiny Toddler Explorers is a monthly program held at Bluestem Nature Center for toddlers and a parent. On June gth at 10am toddlers will learn about nature through play, music and stories. Wood Burned Cutting Board will be held on Monday June gth at 6pm at Bluestem Nature Center. Using your wood burning skills you will decorate a cutting board with a wood burning tool. For adults.
