CITY OF TOLAR CITY COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 17, 2025 REGULAR MEETING The City of Tolar Council met on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 6 P.M. Present: Matt Hutsell, Mayor Sally Grimes, Place 2 Chip Foster, Place 3 Chip Eason, Place 4 Kevin Fron, Place 5 Absent: Sally Grimes. City Staff Present: Michelle Burdette, City Administrator; Jeremy SoRelle, City Attorney; Wilson, Police Chief; Dan Wilson, Public Works Director. Ray CALLT TO ORDER The Meeting was called to order at 6 P.M. ROLLCALL Sally Grimes, Chip Foster, Chip Eason, and Kevin From were present. Matt Hutsell was 5 minutes late due to a TVFD call. Motion: by Chip Foster, seconded by Sally Grimes, to authorize the City Administrator to contact TNMP regarding the options for the rerouting of electric transmission lines at the tiny homes on Sth street. Motion passed 4/0 3.) Approval of all financials. Bank Reconciliation Statement of Financial Income and Expenses Expenses by Vendor Detail Profit & Loss Budget VS. Actual Motion: Sally Grimes, seconded by Chip Eason, to approve financials as presented. Motion passed 4/0. STAFF REPORTS 1.) Public Works- Gave a WWTP and code enforcement update. 2.) Police Department- Read the Police Department Report regarding the prior month. 3.) City Attorney- Gave an update regarding HCAD and new legislation. 4.) City Administrator- Spoke regarding a potential rezone and the new public parking lot. 5.) Mayor Matt Hutsell - None 6.) City Council-None EXECUTIVE SESSION The council may enter into a closed or Executive, Session to discuss the following items posted in Session or seek legal advice from the city attorney pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code Executive Sections/s) 551.04 The City Council adjourned into Executive Session at 6:33 PM, then reconvened into open session at 6:59 PM. ACTION ON ITEMS TAKEN UP IN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION ANNOUNCEMENTS Regular meeting April 21, 2025, @ 61 P.M. The City Hall will be closed for Good Friday on April 18, 2025.
