Call to order, roll call, and announce a quorum is present. Pledge of Allegiance and Pledge to the Texas Flag. Chairperson Risher led the pledges to the flags. 3. Public Input. No one came forward to speak. 4. Consider and act upon the minutes from the March 10, 2025 regular meeting of the Oak Point Parks and Recreation Commission. Commissioner Steczko made a motion to approve the minutes from the March 10, 2025 regular meeting of the Oak Point Parks and Recreation Commission; motion seconded by Commissioner Case. Motion Passed 5-0 5. Discuss Rain Barrel Workshop. Chairperson Risher lead the discussion about a future Rain Barrel Workshop that would be held at the Pavillion at. Jakes Place Park. The date of June 7th was agreed upon and the time will be from 9am-11pm. A form will be created, and PARC Secretary Henry will post on social media and the City website for registration signups. The cost to the public will be $25.00 and will be collected by City Hall, the cost will cover the supplies and materials. Registration will end May 30th at noon. Commissioner Case will provide further details regarding social media and form verbiage to PARC Secretary Henry. 6. Discuss Pollinator Regulations. Chairperson Risher spoke about making a recommendation to Council to make a percentage of a resident's yard polinator/widflower friendly. Mayor Pro Tem Dufford spoke on the City of Lewisville and how they have implemented polinator/widfiower friendly areas throughout many sections oft the city. Discussion continued 13.
