Public Hearing to discuss Grants Briones addressed the Court stating that hel has worked withl Brooks County for about 4 years. Mr. Briones informed the Court with a quick breakdown on' what is required when submitting a grant application and its procurements. Informed the Court on the status of grants that were applied for but are still on hold due to the County match. No action discussion only. 2. Precinct #2. 3. Presenfation of 2024-2025 Brooks County Budget Honorable Judge Eric Ramos addressed the court on ani issue that is being said oft the County going bankrupt by June. Honorable Judge reviewed several documents in open Court in reference to the budget (revenue/expenses) (on file). Discussed being short $223,298 is the worst-case scenario and that we would not being going bankrupt and won'tbe cutting positions. Discussed the possibility ofi issuing building permits to generate more: revenue. Discussion only, no action taken. 4.
