Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, May 1, 2018 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Uish, Commissioner McCray and Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, April 24, 2018 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the Accounts Payable dated April 30, 2018 in the amount of $94,675.70. All in favor. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the Human Services Block Grant Reallocation request of $7,000 for the following: Fulton County Catholic Mission for the Homeless Assistance Fund in the amount of $6,000 and Fulton County Family Partnership for Adult Transportation Services in the amount of $1,000. All in favor. The Commissioners along with Carol Wright, HR and the Retirement Board met with Dennis Koons of Raymond James for updates on investments. Directly following they met with Dave Lytle of Conrad Siegel for updates on investments as well. Topics from this meeting are filed in the Retirement Board Meeting Minute Book. The Commissioners met with a conçerned citizen regarding a recent event that occurred on the Abandoned Turnpike last month. The Commissioners met with Richard Goldstein and Ali Granmayeh, UAS Asset Management. The Commissioners had a phone call with Emily Best as follow up to the newspaper article in last week's paper regarding KKK Materials that were stated to have been found in the McConnell Park. The Commissioners' Office had asked Sheriff Stains to review the security surveillance from the night noted that this occurred. He did not see any abnormal activity that occurred in the Park. After the phone discussion with Ms. Best, she was uncertain exactly where and what all materials were found as her children as well as neighborhood children found the materials. Based on the follow up conversation, the Commissioners have no reason to believe the propaganda was found on the County Property. The Commissioners met with Michelle Sowers and Stanley Kerlin regarding Clean and Green Matters. Motion by Commissioner McCray to adjourn the meeting at 2:30 p.m. All in favor. uanyllla Stuart L.
